Chapter 34- Endgame!

  Today was the day, Myself, Walter and and Alice were waiting at the center of Megacity-13, where the site of the Mutos Frenzy will be.

  I won't lie to you, i was nervous, even as an Apex-ranked Awakened, i feared for us, but i knew in my heart, that as long as we were together, we could beat this, i defied death once, i can do it again!

  Soon, the rest of the Daybreaker Guild arrives, with Doreen leading the way.

  As everyone gathers, the sky began to turn a bloody red, we all transformed into our respective beast forms as the portal opened!

  The first wave was a tidal wave of Chaos Ghouls and Hellhound Imps, both deadly in hordes, luckly Doreen's Beast Form has a skill for dealing with multiple foes!

  With my Water Cws skill, i tore through the bulk of the wave, while Walter and Alice protected the long-ranged Awakened, in no time at all, we tore through the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd waves.

  The 4th and 5th waves were another story, Brick Golems!

  Golems made of brick empowered by the energy of the Mutos Portals, giving them Life, Unlike the Time Golems these are meant for physical combat while Brick Golems are meant for Magical Combat, known for their tough defense and slow speed, these creatures are as tough as the bricks they are made of.

  Walter was extremely useful, his armored body was useful for bashing through these guys!

  Not one to fuck around, i used my Abyssal Fury Skill to boos my strengh, and together we turned those golems to dirt!

  By the time we reached the final wave, the entire area was covered in blood, some of us didn't make it...Doreen sacrificed herself to save some civilians.

  Although many of us were sad, we had to keep going, she would want that.

  Soon the final wave arrived, the Time Golems, but what was leading them wasn't the Time Golem King, it was something worse!
