Chapter Twenty Two, Controlling Time and Space.

Chapter Twenty Two, Controlling Time and Space.

  ...

  ...

"Your base attributes are getting close to the peak of C-rank... I think 200 in physical stats and 170 in Intelligence would be a perfect split, and from there all absorbed attributes get split down to the young ones... Your soul is growing massively powerful with all of the points into your Hidden Attributes... You're slowly creating a massive gap between those of your level and you." Ana spoke, her hand on her chin, gazing down at the sitting Jora.

They were within the Inner World, Jora's body having melded into a wall next to Flamehold's Boss Portal, his mind entering his inner spatial lair.

"Then for now I'm going to cap off my Vitality and Strength, I'll give them the rest of the Attributes from after this point, until I'm powerful enough to ignore the A-Rank." His eyes were closed, his body ever unmoving.

But his hand turned upwards, energy gathering.

"[Power Descend]." He whispered, his energy leaking into the air before warping away.

His Vitality and Strength sunk down to 200 Attribute points, and he didn't feel much of a difference.

He resumed his stance, his legs crossed, eyes closed, and his hands resting on his knees.

He breathed, hardening his mind and tapping into the abilities of [Anaflandus].

Ana raised a brow, nodding in confirmation at the skill acquisition.

"And if you didn't know, yes, skills can be created like this. They don't always have to be stolen... With your sensitivity, skill acquisition should be incredibly easy." She spoke, Jora absorbing her words.

He tapped into the many intricacies of his Management skill, skimming past the things like Talent Creation, and Life Formation. Although they were amazing things he had yet to fully explore, this wasn't the time for it. He had other goals in this moment, and he was sure he would get the moment to exploit everything regarding Anaflandus eventually. But that was less his speed anyway, management things would be left to Ana, and he was happy for her existence in that field.

To be able to reap the benefits of her power, while having her govern the responsibilities of maintaining that power.

He breathed, inhaling his very own energies, feeling the space of his own World.

He fell deeper into the near trance he was in, his perception spreading out farther and farther.

His Sensitivity let him intermingle with outside surroundings, and when he was viewing his own body, he could easily perceive everything about it.

Even beyond this spatial layer, he could observe the operation of his organs, the circulation of his blood. Subconsciously, he scrapped the [Anaflandus] skills, and he tapped into his [Mana Vision], his spiritual eyes glowing as did the eyes of his real body. They glowed through his shut eyelids, and he could see the outlines of the world. He could see the elements, intently watching their movements beyond what he could sense and feel with his Sensitivity.

  He breathed.

The world was black, no real color being able to be absorbed by his eyes, since they were covered by his eyelids.

  Subconsciously, he activated another skill.

He tapped into the depths of his power, utilizing it all, completely putting what he could do with Dungeon Management on the backburner.

He wanted to get as close to sensing space and time as he could, without the skill.

He watched the elements move. The natural particles created by Anaflandus being intently observed. He could see the water in the air, mixing with the air particles, creating a breathable gas.

He could see the light that existed everywhere, and even the weak light particles that floated through shaded spots, those areas mostly consumed by particles of darkness.

His head tilted up towards the ceiling of the world, the false atmosphere that hung up high. It was more just the boundary of the space, and residing within the spatial wall was an intense source of light and fire, brightening up the world. He stared into the fake sun, observing the fire particles mingling with light.

In his mind, there was a small epiphany, and his mind seemed to clear.

Slowly, his spiritual body melded into his world, the elements flowing through him.

  But, light.

He denied light access, and forced it to bend around his body.

"Throw an [Ice Shard] at me." He spoke to Ana, feeling the surprise on her face.

Slowly, he became completely invisible, she couldn't see him, if not for being a part of he, she hardly would be able to tell he was there.

With his permission, she tapped into his [Novice Ice Magic], casting one of the most basic spells.

Without much hesitation, she threw the small spear of ice towards where she had last seen him.

There was a gushing sound, and the shard was lodged mid air. Jora's invisibility faltered, blood spreading from his abdomen where he had been hit.

But he seemed to reach an understanding in that moment.

The headache arising within his true body did nothing to his intense focus, a result of the damage to his spiritual mental form.

This story originates from a different website. Ensure the author gets the support they deserve by reading it there.

In a flash, he consumed the shard of magic, it melding into his mana pool as his wound healed instantaneously.

"Again." He said, eyes still closed, sensing his spiritual body, and observing everything around him.

He ignored the chimes and panels of the system, focusing on what he intended to complete.

Rapidly, another shard of ice speared towards Jora, connecting with his abdomen.

And then space rippled and the shard disappeared from existence.

"Mmm." Jora hummed, Ana's face filling with more surprise, her hand finding it's place on her chin while her other rested on her hip.

"One more. Give me a [Fire Lance]." His words reached Ana, and she nodded.

She chanted, and a lance of fire appeared above her head, floating above her palm.

She threw it forward, and it impacted onto Jora's location.

Like the shard of ice, it rippled in space, disappearing as if it was transported to a different location.

"A [Fireball]." Ana threw her arm forward, a head shaped ball of flame colliding with space.

It exploded, a different effect from the piercing focus of the last two spells.

And the explosion was consumed by space, rippling away out of existence.

He took a deep breath, internally pleased with the results, but it didn't change anything.

In this state, he felt no rage, no hunger, only focus. Whatever goals he had, would be completed, until he deemed himself satisfied.

He shifted his attention away from the creation of his new skill, his body becoming visible to Ana once more. His eyes were still closed, but his hands raised upwards.

  They grasped at the world.

Within his palms, the mana in the air become tangible. He manipulated it with his fingers, as if the hidden energy that was generally invisible, was nothing but thick water.

He brought his hands together, his fingers wading through the energy like water, and it clumped together in his grasp.

His hands were cupped, and within his palms was a slightly denser portion of mana, hazy blue mist inside of the basin he had created.

Fluidly, he moved his hands, repeatedly, gathering mana in that spot.

Until there was so much there, that it condensed into liquid.

  "Interesting..." He mumbled.

Through all the events, his eyes remained close, his focus undisturbed by anything.

His hands separated, dropping the mana downwards, and he observed as it dissipated into gaseous energy before it could touch down on his lap.

He noted things down in his mind, as his hands reached forward once more.

He was sensitive, and he could feel everything.

His mind dug deeper into his senses.

Instantly, the world brightened, and he understood a whole lot more...

Even if he was not sensitive, he could sense all the elements around, and his Sensitivity only boosted that feeling now that he had this skill.

And then he could feel it.

Sparsely, a chaotic and hard to understand particle, flittered in and out of reality.

  "Found you."

And finally, he tapped into his Dungeon Management.

Instantly, his eyes opened, and he could feel the time and space within his hands.

This was his domain, and with his Management, he could feel everything within. The nervous and hidden elements no longer were hard to find. And he could truly perceive everything.

Thanks to having developed the skills he just developed, and his stupidly insane Sensitivity, he had come to a deep understanding.

He could feel all of the Inner World, and he could see the powerful and chaotic space element all about. It had been stretched and manipulated by Ana, warped to shrink those that entered, and stretched to contain more space inside than he body truly had.

  He understood that...

He noticed, that time had been completely untouched by Ana, the cerulean film that existed everywhere, seemed to be wildly stable, untouchable.

He stretched out his hand, tapping into his [Mana Touch], and taking a different path.

He could truly grasp the elements in the air, and that wasn't limited to just air, and light.

He could feel the space and time within his hands.

With his eyes open, and his [Focus] completely... focused...

He dug deep into the abilities his minor Soul Core possessed, controlling the space through both fronts.

His own minor powers, and the powers of his [Anaflandus].

He ordered the space, pushing gripping at the boundaries, and having his way with the World. With his mind, the space was stretched, and the land grew.

  The world rumbled.

And then, he gripped at time. He sent vast waves of energy into World, feeding the boundaries and portraying his intent.

The time particles within, the film of time, it's web...

  His focus was hardened.

Instantly, it was many times easier to manipulate time and even space. Their structure, although complex, felt easy to understand.

Easy to weave, tamper with, and reshape.

He tugged at the strings of time, loosening them and increasing their sturdiness. And then he flooded it with his power, his authority, and his mana.

There was a blip of understanding.

And he reinforced his control through Anaflandus, pouring his soul power into it as well.

Until he had no more energy left to give...

Countless more screens appeared, because he was no longer responsive to observe them.

His spiritual body slumped over, falling face first into the ground of the Inner World.

And his control over the World slipped, his goal achieved.

Ana stared into the unconscious body, her jaw agape.

"Ten times the speed... Just like that..." She murmured, true emotion on her face.

  True shock.

"THAT'S SO UNFAIR!" She stomped the ground.

"You're too fucking lucky! Too sensitive! How is this even possible! If I was a mortal, I couldn't even imagine all the things I could've done without all the rules of the Dungeon..." She complained, stomping and stomping downwards.

"But... I guess now I get to reach past those limits..." Her tantrum calmed. "We just have to get back up to the power and authority that fully grown, real Dungeons have...

"We need to reach the level of World Dungeon... At this point, I can't even consider him a mortal." She rambled, shock still filling her spiritual body. "Maybe that's also why she let him eat me... To create a walking Dungeon?... Unbound by her rules... To be her Keeper! A walking Dungeon would be even more powerful than a God! It would be like..." Her eyes grew wider.

She glanced towards the unconscious Jora.

"She wants you to become a walking World?" Her expression was blank, hard to understand.

"A true god... Beyond the power of those weak wannabes..."

Ana moved forward, kneeling before his unconscious and overworked spirit.

"Let's hope you wake up soon Jora... You keep on surprising me... I'm kind of happy you did all this shit to me..." A smile emerged on her face.

She controlled the space around his spirit, wrapping him up in space, and lifting him.

"Let's go rest." She dragged him along, aiming for a sanctuary to let him smoothly recover.
