The day after Aidan's outburst, all the rookies are having an unsupervised spar; no Aspects.
While Aaron and Laura are sparring, a huge light opposite to the sun can be seen quickly descending to the training grounds.
In the sky, Aidan is in a full nosedive toward the training grounds, ready for a fight.
Aidan, nearly to the ground, reorients himself so his feet land on the floor rather than his face.
When Aidan touches down, a huge burning crater is formed at his feet.
Aidan then hovers above the crater, making a bold statement.
"All six of you."
"Here. Now."
Darius looks skeptical before dashing in.
The initiation is met by a swift ball of fire, aimed directly at Darius' head.
Darius, who barely dodged looks at Aidan like he's crazy.
"Woah there."
"We aren't supervised, you sure you wanna use Aspects?"
Aidan grins before sending another fireball at him.
Darius ducks under and jumps to Aidan, flashing him in the face from the wrist.
Aidan's flames instinctively heat up, forcing Darius away.
Darius speaks up while Aidan is disoriented.
"Something isn't right, don't kill him but beat him."
"That sound alright to everyone?"
All of the rest of the group nod, accepting Darius' quick filling of the leader role.
Aaron is the next target of Aidan, who is seemingly only targeting the strongest person in the vicinity.
Aaron, who is caught off-guard by Aidan's newfound speed, is grabbed on the shoulder by his former friend.
Aaron tries to pry the hand off, only resulting in the grip tightening.
As Aaron struggles more, Aidan begins to heat up, flames burning away Aaron's shirt, and beginning to scorch his skin down.
Laura jumps up to save Aaron, delivering a powerful kick to the back of Aidan's head, powering through the flames.

The kick briefly knocks Aidan to the ground as he drops Aaron, who passes out from the pain, still burning.
Aidan, clearly angered by the attack, then flies toward Laura, fist cocked back.
As the fist nears Laura's chest, chains wrap around the flaming arm, pulling Aidan to the ground.
Laura, in shock, acts instinctively, winding up another kick overhead.
This one is aimed directly at the back of his ribs.
As the kick connects, a shockwave can be felt through the training grounds.
The kick cracks Aidan's ribs and sends all air out of his lungs.
Despite the injuries, Aidan still rises, wheezing like his body is acting independently from it's mind's intentions.
Aidan then kicks Laura on the side of her head, sending her flying toward Aaron, who is still unconscious.
With two out of the six down, Aidan fixes his predatory eyes on his next prey, Edwin and Darius.
Edwin sends every chain he has at Aidan, aiming to constrict and strike Aidan in one action,
But as the chains approach, Aidan reacts by sending a slender beam of fire through the chains, breaking through every single one.
Edwin then charges in through the smoke of the broken chains, aiming to punch Aidan, still wheezing, square in the forehead.
As the punch nearly connects, Aidan grabs Edwin's wrist, twisting it until a loud pop can be heard, followed by the pained screams of Edwin.
Edwin, now rolling in pain on the floor, tightly clutching his now broken arm.
Darius then begins sweating, he knows that if Edwin is useless against Aidan then he wouldn't be able to do much more.
Darius then looks past Aidan and at Asha and James, realizing what would happen if he didn't somehow beat Aidan.
Darius then thinks of any possible ways to beat Aidan.
And then something clicks.
In his head, Darius speaks.
The only hits someone has landed have been right after I flashed him, maybe that's the key.
Darius then winds back his arm as Aidan prepares to dash toward the next fiercest prey.
Aidan starts his dash as Darius pushes him arm out, attempting a huge blast of light.
Darius then unleashes the light from his hand.
But just as it comes out, Aidan grabs his hand, covering up almost all of the light.
Darius then accepts that he likely won't see past the day and takes a flaming right hook to the cheek.
Darius isn't unconscious but he's barely hanging on as he sees Aidan fix his gaze on the two weakest links.
Asha takes a defensive position, ready to push Aidan back with everything she ahs until someone stronger can come to help.
Aidan dashes toward Asha as she pushes her arms out.
Aidan is repelled.
The cycle repeats for minutes while James is paralyzed by the actions of one of his closest friends.
He's on his knees, blank stare focused on the floor.
Asha is getting exhausted, Aidan inches closer with every push.
Asha can now feel the heat of Aidan's flames before each push.
This final push, Aidan is repelled further than ever.
But this just gives Aidan more room to speed up, opening the exhausted and weak Asha up to any attack.
Aidan propels himself at Asha, fist cocked back for a fierce punch.
As the fist inches towards Asha's head, a second flaming fist collides with Aidan's face directly.
Through gritted teeth, James speaks.
"I won't..."
"I won't let you..."
"HURT THEM!!!"
Aidan's gaze immediately shifts to James, who is now flaming just like him.
Aidan dashes at James.
James, who had figured out Aidan's tactics over the months, catches Aidan by the shoulder before tightening his grip, even grabbing his other shoulder.
James burns brighter by the second, Aidan, who is finally showing signs of fatigue, begins to die out.
James then whispers something in Aidan's ear.
"Die."
As Aidan's flames die out, James falls to the floor, also burnt out.
Darius, still barely conscious, whispers.
"Damn..."
"I owe him a drink."
Darius then slumps over, unconscious.
Hours later, Lucius walks up to the training grounds out of coincidence.
Upon seeing the seven bodies on the floor, he sighs and says
"Damn..."
"Jermaine's gonna be pissed."
