  I met a girl named Ren today. She’s tough as nails! She has so much pressure from her dad and I heard her sister trying to give her advice before I spoke to her. Shiori Sazama. She’s so respected in society. It’s no wonder Ren became Special Grade from her trial.

  But that boy. Hajime. I shouldn’t feel bad about his death. It’s not like death is uncommon to me or my family. But he seemed like he didn’t want to be there either. It made me feel pity I suppose.

  But I managed to pass my trial! I took out all four Grade One curses after Ren. I’m not sure what her curses looked like. I’ll have to ask her once I’m out of the medical wing, or when Shiori lets me see her.

  I managed to escape with a fractured leg and second degree burns. I wasn’t expecting a fire technique. Shoko said that even reverse cursed technique can’t fully heal burns. I don’t care about that. I’ve got some badass scars to add to the collection from training with my family before coming to Jujutsu High.
