Hey, thank you to everyone who has read my book and enjoyed the world of Trymora, the characters within, and more. Every comment, every view, has been a joy in and of itself.
However, I live in the United States. I am a political person, which I am sure every person who has read this story up to this point can imagine. I wrote in the heading of my previous chapter that certain modern circumstances have made me unable to take the time to write. The Epstein Files, the brutality of the United States government across the globe, the destruction of civil liberties and rights for all peoples across the lower and working class, the exanguination of blood sweat and tears on the part of the Epstein class, and so much more is constantly bombarding us (or at least me) on a daily basis. I refuse to look away because it is truly my belief that knowledge is both power and catharsis, the two being fairly similar in practice.
When I try to write for this story, I just cannot put words to text document. I still love my characters, I love the world I've created, and I have so many storylines and plots going on within it that I want to finish and see to their natural conclusions, but I cannot help feel a sense of inadequacy when I write distractionary material. I want my stories to have underlying morals and themes, but every word feels like it could have been better condensed into blatant statements about reality. It does not help that I am also in University and the workload has only gotten heavier since last semester.
The narrative has been illicitly obtained; should you discover it on Amazon, report the violation.
In return, my political and theoretical writing has become my primary focus. Before I get back into writing fantasy and fiction, I would like to really expand the list of non-fiction works I have swimming in my head in order to do my part against these monsters that dominate our lives. I want to be a better activist, rebellious thinker, and overall person before I come back to these characters. Maybe if I find the time, I will be able to post a chapter, but I just do not find it likely anytime soon.
Thank you for coming along this 21-chapter journey with me so far, I reached over 100,000 words, and I hope to one day come back and turn that into 500,000! Then some day, after more published stories, a million words, and so on until I die.
If you have enjoyed my writings, you can find my current and future essays on my substack: . It is completely free, and I intend for all of my art to always be free. This is what I am currently passionate about, so if you do come over, feel free to DM me on Substack or any of my other platforms and let me know you're from here!
