Final trasmisson

  *Humanity*

  — Final Transmission

Static crackled through the broken recorder.

  A shaky breath followed.

“If you are hearing this… then they found me.

They are desperate. Hunting me like an animal. I don’t have much time.

My invention… my research… it’s incomplete. But it is the only hope.

My name is Arka Vatsa. I am from the planet Ila.

Our peaceful world is drowning in darkness.

When the golden and dark particles began falling from the sky, everyone celebrated. They thought it was fireworks… or some rare scientific phenomenon.

  They were wrong.

Within weeks, animals began evolving. Their bodies changed. Their instincts sharpened. They started hunting anything they saw.

But humans… some of us awakened abilities.

  Thunder. Earth. Wind. Fire.

No one understands why. Scientists say it is possible because of the particles.

But where did the particles come from?

This story originates from Royal Road. Ensure the author gets the support they deserve by reading it there.

  And why now?

If I do not survive… take my documents.

  Complete the research on Project—”

The recording cuts into violent static.

  A distant crash.

  A final scream.

  Silence.

  Chapter 1 — Present

The A1 Logistics Center stood abandoned beneath a darkened sky.

Inside, soldiers moved carefully through shattered corridors.

“Target confirmed,” one whispered. “Poison attribute detected.”

“Handle it carefully,” the captain replied.

In the center of the warehouse, a massive serpent coiled around broken steel pillars. Its scales shimmered green-black. Venom dripped from its fangs, burning holes into the concrete.

“We see it, sir. Permission to attack?”

  “Take positions. Move.”

  Soldier One leapt forward.

  Before he could strike—

  The sky exploded.

A bolt of thunder crashed through the ceiling.

  Blinding light filled the warehouse.

When the dust settled, Soldier One lay motionless.

The serpent was dead. Burned. Destroyed.

Smoke rose slowly from its body.

From above, descending through fading lightning, a hooded figure landed silently.

  Electric energy crackled around him.

“Hey,” the figure said calmly. “You really thought you could take my target?”

The captain immediately lowered his weapon.

“No, my lord. We only came to witness the great power of Draken — the Thunder Dragon. We had no intention of claiming your target.”

Lightning flickered faintly around the hooded man.

“Then get your dirty boots out of here.”

“Yes, Lord Draken. Thank you for your mercy.”

  The soldiers retreated quickly.

Outside the facility, two younger soldiers slowed their pace.

“Vatsa,” one whispered, glancing back. “Our brother… his body—”

“Don’t be foolish,” the captain snapped. “Straight back to camp.”

  “But he—”

  “Think about your own life.”

  They fell silent.

  Chapter 2 — Unstable Power

  When the powers awakened…

  The world did not celebrate.

  It collapsed.

  Governments fell within months.

  Armies shattered.

  Nations burned.

The old world order disappeared — and in its place, new bloodlines rose.

  Families.

Not by name. Not by wealth.

  But by power.

Five great forces shaped the new era:

  1. The Central Continent — Dragon Family

The strongest military force. Masters of raw elemental destruction. Thunder, storms, and overwhelming combat power.

  2. The Northern Plains — Alaska: The Fire Dominion

Warriors who command flame and volcanic fury. Ruthless. Relentless.

  3. The Western Region — The Slayers

Hunters of evolved beasts. Specialists in assassination and monster extermination.

  4. The Eastern Plains — Sparsha of God

A mysterious faction. Their power is said to be divine. Some whisper they can heal. Others say they can erase existence itself.

  5. The Southern Territory — Assassins of Shadow

Silent rulers of the night. No one sees them. No one survives them.

  Each family raised powerful warriors.

  Each warrior held ranks.

Above common soldiers stood beings who felt more like forces of nature than humans.

  Draken was one of them.

Third Division Commander of the Dragon Family.

To them, ordinary soldiers were nothing.

  The serpent he killed…

Was an A+ rank evolved beast.

  It took one strike.

  One bolt of t

  hunder.

  One moment.

That is the difference between ordinary fighters and the true elite.

Above the dark clouds, lightning flickered once more.
