Meet Lori, a happy girl who likes cheering people up and making friends. Her friends often hang out talking about life stuff and fashion. When she saw Martha sitting alone all the time at the lunch table that nobody goes to, she started to think and she got an idea. "Hi Martha!" Lori said as she walked up. "You remember me right? at Math Class..." Then Martha said "...So?" Lori continues "So I was thinking, me and my friends are going to the carnival after school and I wonder if you would like to join us?" Martha had never been to a carnival before and her curiosity had increased ever since she became teenage. "Fine, I'll check it out." Martha said. Lori smiled "Great! After school, do not hop on the bus. Just follow me and the girls okay?"
After school, Martha comes out and sees the bus ready to head home. She looks and see's Lori yelling for her name. She caught up with Lori. "Okay girls, we're bringing Martha with us to the Carnival." The other 3 look at each other with concerned faces. One of them whispers "You think it's good idea to bring her along?" Then the other whispers "She is kinda creepy." Lori whispers back "I'm trying to help her cheer up. It's the best thing I could do." Martha stands there with a bored look on her face. "Anyway, Lets go!" Lori yelled and they walked to the carnival that is not too far from school.
They reach the carnival, got in line, bought some tickets. They started playing some games, but as usual Martha couldn't win a single game. Then they tried the Ferris Wheel where they can see the town high up, while Martha continues with a bored look on her face. Then they went to the mirror maze where the girls try to find there way out while Martha keeps smashing into every mirror. Then came the funny mirrors where you look tall, short, skinny, bloated, wobbly. Martha looked at one of the mirrors and notice red glowing pupils in her eyes. Martha gasp and quickly rub her eyes, then they were back to normal. "Are you alright Martha?" Lori said. "Yeah, I'm fine." Martha replied. Then the girls had some snacks, funnel cakes, ice cream, Popcorn, Martha had a Corn-Dog. Then they rode a roller coaster running fast and doing loops. "So, how are you liking the carnival so far?" Lori said to Martha. "Excuse me one moment." Martha said and quickly she runs into the bathroom and started puking.
It is almost dark out and the girls were about to head home. As they were about to walk to the exit, one of them stopped. "Hey look, it's the ride they had permanently shut down." Then the others looked. It is the Slaughter Tunnel. A horror themed ride where you ride a boat and bunch of stuff jumps out on you. They say some people actually went missing in the ride, and the bodies were never found. "Let's sneak in!" one of them said and one of them replied "Are you nuts? What if we get caught?" and Lori said "Besides, you heard the stories." As the girls started arguing each other, Martha became curious as she went ahead and climb over the fence then started heading in. Then the other girls started climbing over the fence started following Martha.

They walk into the tunnel entrance. One of them had a flashlight the she won from a game. "Wow, this place is so... run down!" One of them said. Some of the paintings are faded, part of the dock is broken, some boats have sunk'd. Then they heard a noise "What was that?" Lori said. They turned around and saw a Vampire statue "AAAHHH!" they screamed, then they turned saw The Creature from the Black Lagoon statue "AAAAHHH!" they screamed again, then they turned again and saw Martha "AAAHHH!" they screamed the third time. "Oh, sorry Martha." Lori said. Martha looks at her with a straight face.
As they continue walking through the tunnel, Martha decided to have a little talk with Lori "You know, you didn't have to do this for me." Lori looked a Martha "What do you mean?" she said. Martha continues "Look, I know you're doing this to cheer me up because I always look down all the time. But the truth is, I am, how I am, and that you can't really change. You can't help everyone to be happy. But I will say, thank you for bringing me along." Lori smiles "I tried anyways."
Martha stops. The other girls turned around "What's wrong Martha?" One of them said. "I sense something!" Martha replied with a concerned look on her face. One of the girls started to get scared "Okay, Martha sensing something is really freaking me out. We should probably leave." Then suddenly, a bunch of dark shadowy arms started jumping out and grabs the girls! It appears to be some sort of shadow spirit from the dark realm. "Finally! More humans to devour!" it said. Martha looks at Lori and said "Hey, don't tell anyone what I'm about to do." Lori looked at her confused and crying "What do you mean?" Then Martha creates a black hole within her hand and the spirit slowly started getting sucked into her hand. "What? No! Anything but THAAAAAAA-" The Spirit screams as it finally gets absorbed into Martha. The girls fall into the water but they were all fine as they were all able to get out soaking wet. "Are you okay?" Martha said, but they all screamed and ran out of the tunnel.
The next day back in school, Martha was walking down the hallway and see's Lori and her friends all now have this scared look on her and Lori never gave a thought to talk to her again. So Martha kept on walking.
