Last chapter of the Volume as well as the last chapter of the week and tomorrow i pick up Dungeons. Mwahahaha did you all enjoy the cliffhanger cause i enjoyed the week of brainstorming how to kill that cliff. Anway enjoy.

  Techno PoV

  In the morning three cart being pulled by three domestic monsters each pulled up to the big whale. I was still sitting on the whale's head but Menthol had gone back to his own body using his magnetism skill. It's too much of a convenient skill to have.

  Anyway the minerals were Iron and Coal since that was the main product here. There were copper veins but they were rather small and most of the copper came from scraps.

  I text to them telling them to just drop the different materials in separate piles and we would clean up later.

  They did just that. One large pile of iron with one ton of the ore and one pile with a half-ton of coal. They left soon after not giving much thought to the big rock I was sitting on.

  Soon after Nova woke up as did the two girls but Bulk, Brook, Victor, Ena and Blaze logged off to get quality sleep so today was only us four and the clockworks that were repairing their comrades in slavery. Most were repaired so as payment I had them start moving the coal and iron and dump it in our storage inside the ship.

  I activated my own clockwork robots and told them to guard the ship and the Whale and send me an alarm.

  With that the four of us headed to Gaia's place. I was going to register my crew as an official crew.

  They said we needed a crest or emblem. After thinking of the showiest thing in our possession my eyes turned to my little sister.

  I had her do some homework with the two girls while I drew the design but after she was done I rewarded her by letting her play with Strato but she couldn't go overboard so I made sure to lock all her guns plus the robots as well.

  After a while she came back content and I let her ride the robot instead of proto so I filled it up. By that time I had my design drawn out.

  It was a rather simple white flag with a chibi version of Nova and Strato flying through the sky and her sniper completely out while pointing forward. They were flying diagonally as if about to pass whatever was seeing them.

  Now why this picture. Tell me exactly who on my crew can win against her. If she used both proto and Strato she could easily fight me or Bulk and leave us like Swiss cheese and come out of it laughing.

  Since we were already called "The Clockwork" I went with that and drew it on the lower right of the emblem. Once then we finally left.

  Unlike during the night, the city at 9am in the morning was the total opposite. Everyone was running about and shopping but for some reason we drew a LOT of attention. Discreetly I dropped several drones and made them crawl over to a group of players who were chatting.

  Player 1: 'That’s totally him look six arms and reddish metal plate. Look even the girl with the aircraft.'

  Player 2: 'Ya they look like them but seriously anyone can make a look alike like that idiot who got trashed.'

  Player 3: 'I have to agree with you but it's been too little time for someone to make a look alike of him. I think it’s him.'

  Player 1: Come ON! Why would he come here instead of continue someplace else?!'

  Player 4: 'Maybe because this is one of the few towns around. The only other one is Shipyard town either a month’s walk or a six hour flight. Those idiots that died were the pirates in the mountains so it’s between these two towns.’

  With that the group gets even more excited.

  I made the others walk a bit faster before the players swarm us or something.

  We made it to Gaia’s house and were let in rather easily since we came here quite a number of times.

  Rust was waiting with Gaia and they were both dealing with work. Rust was the first to see us. If you're wondering Nova is outside the window but they haven’t noticed since the sound is similar to regular sawing blades cutting metal.

  Rust: ‘Techno? What are you doing here? Gaia said you turned the mission in and the reward was sent already.’

  Techno: ”Not about that. Gaia, you said we can register the crew officially.”

  Gaia: ‘Ya, that was already authorized in the last meeting and the devices, are in the making.’

  Techno: ”Register my crew then.”

  She looks at Rust who sighs before walking to a desk on the side and calling us over.

  Rust: ‘Gaia, continue and I will deal with it. Well first connect to the console since it would be easier for you. Hm where is Nova. I know you never leave her alone without someone watching her.’

  Techno: ”Look out the window behind Gaia.”

  They both blink and look towards the window only to find the smiling little clockwork on Strato hovering there.

  Gaia is visibly shaken seeing the flying protector and completely freezes up but Rust didn’t lose a beat and turned to me instantly.

  Rust: ‘Techno, what do you want for the blueprints to that flying craft.’

  Techno: ”Currently not for sale.”

  I said while connecting to the PC and letting the info appear. A window appears with several requirements.

  Normally when you find something like this you would trash it but it’s just another challenge which might bring out some delicious reward.

  That said since i had nothing particular i was researching i put the item away in my inventory before i started to collect the base materials for the large water filter.

  I start working fast since i only had 5 more game days to build this.

  I use wood to make the box and rubber make a good take then i start working on several pumps and then filters which would the throw the water into a second tank and follow to another tank then another.

  The plan was to go through 8 tanks and the final hopefully being pure water. The filters were made with net filter of various sizes that would collect oil, and mineral filters to slowly remove impurities beside oil.

  To build it all i took 4 days and the result of collecting so much water was that the water purity goes all the way to 2% of impurities.

  By now everyone was already back and these 2% i had brock use earth manipulation to remove any dirt particles. With that the water was purified and with scans i found it below 1 %. It’s impossible to get it completely pure at least for now but doing so much was quite enough.

  I had told the others already about what i was going to do so when i pulled out the small pearl from my inventory no one was surprised. I took it and into the last tank of water i dropped the core.

  As soon as it hit the water it began to glow a blue light. It started to get stronger as soon it lit the entire cave inside brock’s whale body.

  The reaction was much more intense compared to Golems or fire elementals.

  After the glow stopped we look at the water and slowly it began to lift up in several different currents that soon converged and started to entwine and hit the ground while twisting and slowly forming a new body. As the body formed we could see the small figure of what looks like a 10 year old and from the excess water, it gathered in her hand and stretched into a pole and at the top part it separated into three spear tips and formed a trident characteristic of undersea creatures affiliated gods of water and what not.

  She blinked once, twice and more then looked around then at both of my bodies before bowing.

  Undine: ‘Greetings, and thank you for giving birth to me. I am of the queen undines by chance is there any large bodies of water near here.’

  We shook our head but her eyes fell on the tanks.

  With a flick of her hand the water flew up and formed a ball in the air. At the bottom, dirt, oil and impurities gathered completely until it formed a solid object that fell down. Then the girl put her hand on the water ball and it was sucked into her body before she sighed with relief.

  Brock: ‘Woah.’

  He was the only one to saw that but it caught her attention and with an attentive glance she saw he was an Earth spirit and moved close before kneeling.

  Undine: ‘Greetings greater Earth Spirit. Forgive this one for being selfish but can i take up residence within your secondary body.’

  Brock: ‘Um..’

  Bulk: ‘Miss, you’re in it. He recently made the body so its small.’

  She looked at bulk surprised and looked around.

  Brock: ‘Um if you want to stay then its fine. We could use your help but i just became an Earth spirit some days ago so as he said, i am small.’

  Undine: ‘I see. I shall choose to stay anyway. I hold the core of a queen so i must be the leader of my kind that comes after me.’

  It was interesting to see her like that. Well for now we take apart the water tanks and build one large tank for her to live in. She fills it with magic before jumping in by turning her solid human like body to water.

  From there we spent the last day finishing her tank and finally were logged out.

  We tell her to watch the whale body, which was left floating above the ground, and give orders to the clockwork robots to defend the whale and the ship from intruders that don’t identify themselves as friendlies and are in the list of friends we have from NPC to players.

  With that we are allowed to log off. I wake up inside my Virtual room which is the same as it was before. I sit up and look around already hearing the noise Nova was making.

  Wow this is impressive. Still i didn’t know our missions gave us achievements. It’s possible this is something for the second time and beyond. Well i guess we should get going before Nova does something dumb.

  I get up and exit seeing my normal little sister already watching TV and i sit with her to watch and let her snuggle close. Moments like this will always be the best ones, simple is best.
