Chapter 39

  Class Back in Session

  Vlad:

  A lot has happened in the past month.

  We have 2 new Uncles and 1 new Aunt plus we have a new brother and in a turn of events my great uncle who gave Daddy this pack and his mate were consumed by darkness but are now cured from the dark forces that held them. Now my Great Aunt Sophie is one of our teachers. Her and Monk take turns daily giving them each time to train with our Master Uncles Ashura and Thoran, Aunt Nome and our new brother Master Tanchi. It's sometimes a weird feeling having 4 Masters as family but according to them. Johanna, Killian, Dorian, Yang and myself are born Masters ourselves. I know Jo is going to be a weapons master and Dorian is going to be a warrior master but I don't know what Killian, Yang and I are going to be Masters of yet. Yang has multiple abilities so she could be master of anything as of now. Yang says I'm going to the Master of Stink. I accidentally farted in class today and Aunt Sophie had to evacuate the class but made me stay here since the smell tends to follow me. I'm waiting on Sam and Lyidia to come and cast some Anti Stink Spells. I blame it on the fact that I have 2 wolves. Yang disagrees and she says I've always had super stinky gas and me having 2 wolves has nothing to do with it. Tanchi thinks it's possible that it is a special defense weapon and is working with some scientist researchers to copy the smell and make it into a spray for self defense like pepper spray. They can't seem to get the right smell so the best thing for me is to fart in a special bag so they can test the gas I release for its chemical makeup and copy it.

  Sam and Lyidia come in wearing gas masks. Sam says Vlad I think your gas attacks get worse the older you get. Boy I hope you can stop this before you come of age to find your mate. She won't be able to live within 5 miles of you, at this rate. I tell Sam, maybe I will get a mate who has a very bad sense of smell. He laughs and tells me that as bad as I smell, even if she has a bad sense of smell I would have her cured of that as soon as I cut the cheese. Lyidia laughs at our bantering but tells Sam in a very serious tone that he needs to either start helping her or get out. Sam starts helping her immediately. He knows he will get in trouble if he doesn't. After they finish their spell casting Sam gives me a fistbump and Lyidia gives me a hug goodbye.

  Aunt Sophie and the others come back into the classroom, she gives me a hug and tells me she loves me. She calls me Stinker Bug now.

  We were all able to finish our class work on time and waited for the bell to ring so we could go to Uncle Ashura's class. His class is my favorite. I love learning all about portals, how they work, what they do, the different ways you can use them. No, not all of us can open portals but it's important that everyone learn about them. It's like Yang. She has Telepathy and Telekinesis. We all are learning about her abilities too. The more we learn about everyone's abilities, it is easier to understand and read each other's movements to be able to make attacks and defenses more effective without having to link anyone telling them what to do or what comes next. It's amazing what a head turn, shoulder twitch, grin or even how a person's feet are positioned when they stand can tell you about their next move.

  I wish I was old enough to participate in Dad's Beta and Gamma test that's happening soon.
