Chapter 35

  Family Ceremony

  Dianna:

  With everything settled, we all sit close together as King Vlad starts the speech to start the ceremony.

  King Vlad:

  We stand before the Gods and family to welcome three new members to the Royal blood line. Master Ashura, please come forward. Do You Ashura take the Sir name of Dracul and willing to protect your new family with your life? Do you swear to never betray your new family as my son and new bound brother and new bound sister in law and nieces and nephew?

  Ashura:

  Yes. I swear my loyalty with heart and soul to you as my father, Justina as my mother, Jackson as my Brother and Dianna as my sister in law and Maurice, Louis, his mate Anna, Catilena and her mate Grayson, Nick, Vlad and Geneva as Uncle and Dorian as his Great Uncle.

  King Vlad cuts his hand first then cuts Ashuras. They grasp hands and let the blood mixture in a cup. Justina follows, cutting her hand and letting their blood mix into the ceremonial chalice. Next is Jackson, Myself and the adult children. Dorian goes first as the oldest grandchild. Vlad grabs the knife and cuts his hand and Genevas. All the blood is mixed in the chalice. Then it's Nomes turn. We all repeat the ritual mixing our blood. Then it's Thoran. We all mix our blood. Justina stirs the blood all together. It doesn't look like blood anymore. It looks like a glitter glaze of a starry sky.

  King Vlad takes the chalice, saying with this blood mixture it will bind us all as family. Love, Trust, Faith, Understanding as one united family. He drinks from the gold chalice passing it around for all of us. After everyone drinks. It's Tanchi's turn. Jackson and I stand. Jackson gives the same speech as his father had done right before him. Tanchi accepts the bond as our son, grandson and the binding to his new siblings and nephew. We cut our hands again and drink from the chalice, blood isn't blood it wasn't a starry sky either, it looked like a morning sun rising with soft fluffy clouds. When ceremonies are finished the air began to swarm with a loving energy swimming around each of us. A bright light formed and danced around the room and then it spit up and entered straight into all of our hearts. Even into Killian and Johanna's hearts Proof that the ceremony was accepted by the higher powers. We are officially a family.

  We offer Tanchi a room in his new home with us. He said he would love it too and he would transform his house into another area for us all to train in a bigger obstacle course of some sorts. He said he will use his own money to build it. We tell him absolutely not! He is our son and what he wants done is not just for himself but his family and we fund family projects. He looked like he couldn't believe what he was hearing and said as much. He told us that every other pack he has visited the Alphas expected him to pay for everything. I told him this was his pack and we are his family now and the only thing he will have to pay for is if he wants extra snacks in his room, or special amenities he wants.

  We send the kids to bed with hugs from everyone. We adults are still reeling from the excitement from our family bond so we stay up and talk.

  Tanchi:

  It may be too late for this but I think everyone needs to know why being a part of a family is so important for us.

  When parents find out their children have Master qualities, they never have a relationship again with their children. They send them around to different packs so they never have to see their child again. We live like nomads. I was fortunate to have an uncle who is also a Master. He took me in, who allowed me to travel with him.

  My story is different from yours Tan.

  I was an orphan. I was living on the streets when I aged out of the system. I met Ashura by accident because I was running from the police and I ran into him literally. I tried to teleport but he grabbed me before I could. He took me in and helped me master my abilities.

  We were called to help an old Alpha by the name of Jeremiah because he thought his son was a master of portals. The only thing that kid was good at was bedding the willing females.

  King Vlad:

  I know the old Alpha you speak of. His son is a disaster walking.

  Nome: Yes he is at that.

  Thoran:

  My parents left me on Ashura's door step. I grew up with him. We all helped Tan train.

  Ashura:

  I guess we will start with our age

  I am younger than Dad but years older than my new brother. I'm 80 years old. Nome is 50, Thoran is 45 and Tan is only 20. To explain deeper. People are scared of the unknown and Masters and Master potentials are part of that unknown and we are only popular when we are needed.

  It is important for us to find a family who loves and trusts us unconditionally because that is the only way we can receive our full potential. Your children will never have to worry about finding a family because they have one who is not scared of them and loves and trusts them unconditionally already. If we didn't love and fully trust any of you we would have left and not looked back. You have not only given us something we needed, you gave us what we were missing. Love. You didn't treat us like we were teachers, you made us a family. We love you as parents and siblings. We love all these kids. They are ours just as much as they are yours. The little one's powers will only become greater with all the love that surrounds them.

  Jackson:

  That is a lot to take in but I want all of you to know that you are loved deeply and you will never feel like outsiders because you are not you are my siblings and son.

  Justina:

  Let's get to bed before Diannas yawns start catching like the black plague.

  Everyone starts yawning. To late Mom Nome says. Good night family she says as we gives us hugs and goes to her house. Thoran and Ashura do the same.

  Maurice:

  Tan how about you bunk with me tonight and we will fix your new room tomorrow?

  Tan:

  Thanks big bro. I accept your pleasant offer.

  All our kids gives hugs and tells us good night.

  What a turn of events that has happened today.
