Chapter 33

  Dinner time.

  Dianna:

  Justina and I were expecting a full stampede. Instead we got only 5 runners and 5 limping, staggering, breathing heavily adults, who looked like they had been in a war and lost.

  The Masters follow them in, looking like they won whatever war they had with the 4 adults.

  Dorian spoke first. Ya Ya, I don't think Mom and Uncles will be able to make their plates. They are too exhausted to move.

  Jo laughs and says, I thought they would be better than us and we would be the ones limping.

  I was scared when Masters Tan and Nome put us against each other.

  Tanchi:

  Jo, you are a natural marksman you and Geneva, wiped the floor with all of us today.

  My eyes cut to Justina when he spoke, looking at her silently asking if I heard what was said correctly. She nods her head just as shocked as I am. We call our men down for dinner. To our surprise they were already behind us. We were so wrapped up in eavesdropping that we didn't notice them.

  King Vlad:

  Did he just say Johanna and Geneva kicked their ass?

  Jackson:

  Dad language! That's not what he said. But yes he did say the equivalent to that. You always said that girls are more awesome than boys, Dad, and I guess this proves your point.

  Justina and I laugh at the beaming father and grandfather.

  Dorian, came in to make a Plate for Cat and Nick first before making his own, Killian made a plate for Geneva first, Justina gives me a nudge in my ribs to bring it to my attention as Jackson and King Vlad stair wide eyed as we all watch Vlad make a plate and take it to Johanna. Dorian, Killian and Vlad come back in and make plates for Maurice, Louis, Ann and Nick.

  When the Masters come in we all make our plates and go join the rest of the family at the table.

  Ashura:

  talking to us as we take our seat. I understand you had duties today and couldn't attend class but you will make it by attending classes an extra hour every day. I know it is a lot of work, but this is all necessary. If need be we can work around your duties and have private classes. We nod our heads and King Vlad says we will be splitting duties up so we don't miss any more class. Ashura nods his head.

  I asked the kids how they like their classes. I made a mistake. The adult children let a long moan out loud in what seems like pain and exhaustion remembering what had happened only a fewhour ago.

  Maurice:

  Mom why would you ask them that? We are all embarrassed enough.

  Louis:

  Yeah Mom, They swept the floor with us. Used our heads for mops and butts for brooms.

  I still can't believe it.

  Mom it was exhausting, embarrassing and I just want to forget about it.

  Mom I've never been so proud but embarrassed at the same time in my life.

  Dorian:

  Training was wonderful YaYa. I'm learning to tap into my Witch powers and cast simple spells and I love warrior training. I didn't realize how strong I really am.

  Vlad:

  I'm learning how to open, close, look into portals, I love warrior training too. The obstacle courses are fun.

  Jo:

  I hit all my targets in just 1 try, darts, water guns, balls, everything!

  Killian

  : I'm learning how to open portals, and combine my Lycan and Vampire abilities so I can use them together.

  Geneva:

  Mommy, Daddy it was wonderful, with Master Nome, im learning how to freeze and throw a group of people. With Master Tanchi I'm learning to control someone else's weapons and with Master Thoran I'm learning to slow time while I attack.

  Nick:

  Don't remind us. Being thrown telepathically against a wall in slow motion wasn't fun at all.

  Geneva apologizes to him and continues, I learned I can control Jo's weapons. I was able to traject her dart to hit my target instead of hers. I was able to manipulate the water to bend to my will and hit Lou in the face and he was across the room. I learned how to open and close a hole in the ground.

  Maurice:

  You need to learn to warn people when you open a hole so they don't fall into it. Meaning me, little girl.

  Geneva:

  I will try to give a warning next time Maurice. I also learned to move people with air too.

  Cat:

  Being picked up and tossed like a rag doll by a tornado isn't fun either Eva.

  Vlad: She was also able to talk to our wolves. They are just pups but I have 2 wolves, one black and the other is white and I need to learn how to control them. Yang is going to help me too since the black one was her pup until she saved me. Geneva, nods her head in agreement. Then she goes quiet and still.

  Baby girl, are you ok Jack, ask her. She nods slowly as trying to process something. She probably is trying to decipher not only her abilities but every one else too.

  All of a sudden she looks at Ashura and asks if there is a way to get her wolf back. We all are shocked but remain quiet. He looks at all of us and says he will look into it but can't promise anything and it could be dangerous to even try to separate the twin wolves.

  Geneva looks disappointed but understanding.

  Ashura:

  Why don't you kids go watch a movie before you all get ready for bed.

  Nome:

  I believe I will watch a movie with you. Come on kiddos while the men clean up.

  Jo:

  Master Nome we will let you pick out the movie.

  Dianna:

  The kids leave with Nome. Ashura and Thoran clear the table and King Vlad and Jack do the dishes. Justina, Cat and I stay seated at the table. Cat starts telling us how Dorian has done great on his first day as well as the other kids.
