Chapter 18

  Grayson is missing.

  Ann:

  When Lou called me to ask me if I could pick up the children from school, he sounded tense and worried. I admittedly asked what was wrong. He said Cat called and was frantic saying the school called her and asked if there was a reason Grayson left early because he didn't notify the principal Mrs. Helen that he had to leave. No one was there to cover his class. When Mrs. Helen talked to the other teachers they said they all saw him and Mr. Leon said he just talked to him about some very smart students. He said Grayson told him he just talked to Miss Sue but it wasn't a nice conversation about two of her very smart students. When Mrs. Helen questioned Miss Sue denied talking to Grayson at all.

  I knew I had to call Lou but I couldn't scare the children I needed to calm my emotions and act like nothing was wrong. I sent them to their room to play. I went to the office and called Lou. I told him everything the kids told me. He said would come home and talk to all of us.

  When arrived he gave me a hug and kissed the top of my head and asked where the kids were. I told him they are putting Legos together in Vlad's room. He called them down to the office and sat a tape recorder down. The kids repeated the exact conversation they had with me, Lou then called the control center where Operation Find Gray was underway. The kids repeated the exact same conversation again and it was also recorded. Jackson came on the phone and told the kids about Gray missing and due to the fact that no one knows what has happened, Dorian along with themselves will be homeschooled by Maurice who will be home in a few days and that when he arrives I am to go back to work and become a spy.

  The hospital is full of gossip and he told the kids that if they think of anything else they are to tell one of us admittedly no matter how small or insignificant they think it might be. Any other questions Miss. Sue asked them or any other thing that was said with Mr Leon. The kids agree and it starts to drizzle rain. Geneva is sad but she has a determined look on her face.

  Louis:

  When Ann called me I was with the family trying to figure out who is lying and what is evidence if any we have or could find.. I rushed home from the library in the middle of town, where we had sat up post in the families private room. It is where we keep our copies of the pack maps and blue prints of all the buildings in town are kept plus the logs of the pack members. We have multiple copies in different buildings in town but the Library has a private soundproofed room. with extra security cameras.

  It took about 5 minutes to get home. I was driving faster than I usually drive. The kids have important information and time is of the essence. I arrive and hug and kiss Ann, I go to Vlad's room and ask them to meet me in the office. It may seem cruel but we as a family couldn't keep the fact that Grayson is missing from them. They need to know and we need to know what happened yesterday at school. I recorded my conversation with them. I called Dad and had the kids repeat what they told Ann and I. He informed them that Dorian will be staying with them and Monk was coming home to homeschool them. The kids weren't too happy about not going back to school but we couldn't risk something happening to them. I called my old friend from college, Henning. He is a genius when it comes to hacking, security systems and everything concerning computers and programs. I tell him I need extra security on at least 4 houses and undetectable trackers on 20 or more vehicles. He is happy for such a high paying job and says he will start surviving the areas and get started with everything today. I also call the most trusted witches Sam and Lyidia to cast more powerful protection spells around Cats, Lolly and Pop Pops and our house as well as all vehicles we own because who knows if we will get attacked while on the road. As always we pay them handsomely per spell. As I'm contacting everyone I could think of, it started to drizzle rain. Geneva's doing I assume. She comes in alone as I'm on the phone with Dad. She says even if it takes her years she will find Gray. She is determined and stubborn enough to do just that. Dad hears her and says he gives her permission to investigate on her own. I give her a thumbs up telling her she can proceed with her plans.

  Geneva:

  When Dad told us Gray is missing, I made a vow to myself. Even if it takes me years, I will get stronger and find Grayson myself if I have too. Not just because he's my brother in law, my family and teacher but because of Dorian. He is only 13 plus he's going to graduate next year and he really needs his Daddy. I'm sad and it starts to rain.

  I go back into the office by myself and tell Lou what I'm going to do. He looks at me and nods his head. He knows I mean every word I say. He tells the person that he is talking to and tells them what I said. He gives me a thumbs up, meaning I permission to start my own investigation. I know where I need to go first. I need to ask for Mommy to take us to school so we can get everything from our desk since we won't be going back there again. I turn and ask Lou if he will ask Mommy to take us to school to get our belongings. He tells me Daddy is coming home to take us. Daddy knows I want to investigate and Mommy probably wouldn't let me. I laugh and run upstairs and tell Jo, Vlad and Killian that Daddy is taking us to get our stuff from the school and we need to be ready to go. I tell them I want to investigate to help find Gray. They are excited to help.

  Jackson:

  When I hear what the kids had to say. I knew who was lying right then but what part did this Miss Sue have to play. Then finding out Geneva wanted to start her own investigation, I had to control my breathing so Dianna wouldn't know something was in the works in this brain of mine. When Geneva asked to be taken to th school by her Mommy, I knew I had to step in and help my daughter look for answers so I volunteered to take them back to that school. Maybe I could use a Alpha Aura to get the answers we needed.

  Vlad:

  When we are told Grayson is missing my heart skipped a beat. We need to find him is all I was thinking. When Dad said Monk is coming home to teach us at home I was actually happy, not only could he teach us but he can also help train us.

  Johanna:

  I will do whatever I can to help find Mr. Grayson. When Alpha Jackson said we didn't need to go to school anymore I was glad. I didn't like that Miss Sue and to find out she lied about even talking to Mr. Grayson told me she is involved in some way.

  Killian:

  I liked school but it was boring. I already knew the things Mr. Leon was teaching. I want to learn something new. I'm glad that Mr. Maurice will be teaching us now. We need to help find Mr. Grayson but we need to be stronger. and train more. Going back to school to get our supplies is going to start our investigation. With Alpha Jackson's help I'm sure we can find something useful.
