Today was not much different. In the morning, we packed up what we had made yesterday and began to hike again. We know that we are indeed going south now. I do not think much can go wrong where we are right now. We have all of the fur we need. We also have all of the resources that we need to get to the village. Yuri has declared that when we get there, we will be staying until it is warm enough for us to go to the southern base.
"What do you think about all of this?" Angelo questioned me quietly, "Do you think Yuri really wants to do this?"

I shook my head, "Of course he doesn't. No one does. We have to wait this out until we get the things to go to the base. That will help us get to the base quicker, actually. Less people dead."
"So many of us are dead," Angelo muttered.
I sighed, "Don't be discouraged, young Angelo."
"You're one to talk," Lawrence budded in.
I rolled my eyes. My brothers are so very annoying, but I need them. What would I do without them? I would do nothing but think about calamities instead of the light. I wouldn't be able to survive.
