Ammon is ill. Of course, I immediately responded. I do not want the same thing that happened to Kimi to happen to his friend. It pains me to even think of Kimi's name. Although I never really knew him, I know he was a good man. I stayed by Ammon's side as soon as I heard the news. He seems to just be a bit feverish, which more than likely won't evolve into something life threatening, but I am being very cautious. One never knows when something is likely to turn deadly. I also refuse to lose another one of the boys again. Not one of my friends deserve to leave this world early.

I sat with him, holding a wet towel to his forehead. I kept it warm. I even managed to keep the entire tent warm. So much so that when Lawrence came inside to talk to me, he took his coat off. I am quite proud of myself. Lawrence told me that I should be since outside was, as I heard it, a few English words that I have never heard before. I asked him about it, and he said I shouldn't worry about it. I take it that he meant cold.

I do not see signs of Ammon getting much better today, but I might be wrong. He doesn't seem to be getting any worse, so a win is a win, no matter how you take it.
