The City of Myrithen

After a long day of travelling in the hover-bus, they finally made it to Myrithen's arrival zone, and they finally made it. The city is filled with humongous skyscrapers filled with technology, people using magic for their daily lives, and multiple types of people walk the streets without a worry in the world. It felt like a dream come true for all of the boys. The boys, after the Hover-bus docks at its station, decided to head out for food. As it turns out, none of them packed any food to eat on the way there, and so they basically starved nearly all the way to Myrithen.

After the boys got their luggage, they went out and found a small coffee shop on the corner of a city block. The coffee shop has a small hologram on the side of a window saying open, has a green roof, and has windows all around the building.

Marv then says hungrily, "Finally somewhere to eat," but Isaiah had a question for the group: "Wait, guys, do we even have enough money to pay for food?" The others checked their wallets. Marv seemed to only have 10 bucks and nothing else. Kian also seemed to only have 11 bucks on him. Jash was worse than the two; he only had 5 bucks and a few coins. Isaiah was the worst of the four; he only had 3 bucks and a coin in his wallet.

But then there was a spark of hope when Hope showed his wallet with what seemed to be a credit card, "Bro, thank god you have a credit card, and knowing your family, it probably has three thousand bucks minimum," says Jash.

However, Hope mentioned one small problem: "This credit card is functionally useless, my parent check my spending on this card, and if they found out I spent it on anyone but myself its gonna get cancelled."

But then decided to speak up, "Friends, there is no need to worry about money for now, at least my parents gave me a credit card with five thousand bucks on it and..." "Bro, just say it simply," says Kian marc then nods and says, "Since my parents don't monitor my spending we can use it wherever we want!" the four others start to smile in being thankful that at least one them has money.

Finally, after having that discussion, they entered the coffee shop as they opened the door, a bell rang signaling the baristas that the customers were entering. The shop was filled with a few people, and it felt cozy, like they were back home again. After entering, they walked towards the counter and rang a small bell to call a worker from the shop. After a few minutes, a short woman about four feet and eleven inches with small fangs and horns and a black uniform, she then asked the six what they wanted to order.

The six boys then answered one after the other, and the barista nearly couldn't keep up. "Can I please have a matcha tea with a croissant on the side?" said Hope before he went into a booth to sit down.

"I want a latte with a croissant," says Kian after he goes to the booth where Hope was also sitting.

"I'm gonna get a regular coffee with two sugars, no cream, and a ham sandwich, also make the coffee hot," says Jash before joining the two

"Ok, I'll have a black coffee with two Blt's sandwiches," says Marv before he joins the three next was Isaiah

"OK, I want an iced latte with a bit of cream and 1 sugar, please and thank you," as he waves at the barista and joins the others.

"I would like a normal coffee with cream and sugar, and a tuna sandwich," says Marc

The barista then asked are you paying for all of them?" Marc then responded by giving the credit card

"Ok, so your total for all of that is 200 Marks." Marc then nods, "So we'll have your order ready in about 20 minutes," says the barista. Marc then joins the others in the booth.

"So, guys, do any of us know when we can get to the dorms?" asks Jash Marc, then looks at his aether terminal and says, "We have to get to orientation by 1 am."

"So we have nearly 8 hours to do anything," says Kian. "It seems so," says Hope

"What do you guys want to do after we eat?" asks Marv

"Oh, we could visit Central Park, it's a full night, so we might be able to see a few stars tonight, and try to sleep there," says Isaiah. The barista then passes out the food to the boys and says, " You six don't seem to be around from here, are you?" Hope then responds, "How could you possibly discern that from us?"

"Oh, it's simple, I could tell from what you guys wear, but what really confirmed it for me is that you guys talk about going to Central Park like it's extremely."

"Yeah, you're right, it's just we're not used to the city, so we just decided to go there cause it's a place to sleep, before the school's dorm opens," says Jash

"Oh, really, what school are you guys attending?"

"Thalryn Academy." The barista was shocked but not overly shocked.

"So what's your plan before orientation?" asks the barista

"As Jash said, Central Park," says Marv

"If you guys don't mind, you can sleep this night at my place before the dorms open," says the barista; however, we were skeptical about why she would do that, and "Why would you do such a thing to help us?" asks Hope.

"Well, to be honest, we're kinda short-staffed, and I was wondering if some of you could work here for a bit?" asks the barista. Four of the boys, with nearly no money, jumped at the opportunity and volunteered to work. The barista looked excited that the four volunteered, "Perfect, we needed a few waiters and a barista," said the barista. "Wait, we didn't catch your name," says Isaiah. "Oh, my name's Vivian, but you can call me Viv." Hope then shakes her hand and says, "Pleasure meeting you, Vivian."

"Okay, after you finish your coffee and food, I'll show you to my place, and once you guys get your class schedule, tell me when you have classes so I can fix the work schedule," says Vivian
