Going out

The team was excited to finally be able to leave the Academy campus, even if it was a big space for them to explore with all they needed, but nothing could beat the bustling streets and the landscape of the city of Myrithen. As they started to get ready to leave, they decided to take down and hide the bulletin board full of evidence.

"Why are we hiding this thing again?" asked Marv, who was using his magic to make it float by reducing the amount of gravity it was affected by.

"So that none of the Professors could discover what we have been investigating for the past week," said Hope, still packing a small bag with his belongings.

"The question is, where could we even hide this thing?" said Kian, still making his morning coffee, not being able to fully see because of Jash taking his glasses.

"Oh, I know where we could hide it!" shouted Isaiah as he finished changing in the bathroom, shocking the others who looked at him, gesturing to show them where to put it. Isaiah then walks towards the bookshelf Hope uses, and the others' faces became confused, as if Isaiah was joking with them. And then Isaiah started to pull out a specific book titled Echoes of Freedom. It was a decently big book, big enough to need two hands to carry it. As they saw him do this, they finally understood when they saw the inside of the book. It was hollowed out nothing was inside it.

"You're joking, right?. Why do you even have something like that anyway?" said Jash, now holding the device because Marv used to much of his Heka while waiting for someone to tell him where to put it.

You might be reading a stolen copy. Visit Royal Road for the authentic version.

"Better question, how could you possibly sneak that into my bookshelf?" asked Hope, now noticing that the book wasn't one that he put there or even one he had brought with him.

"Not important! What is important is that we have somewhere to hide the damn thing," said Isaiah, holding the book open, gesturing for them to put the device in the book. After a few minutes, they just decided to place it in the hollow book, as they thought that if it were somehow stolen, then they deserved it.

After that, they all finally left the dorms and started to leave. Jash remembered something and said, "Guys, our class schedules, remember Vivivan said to give it to her as soon as possible, so we can start working part-time at the coffee shop!?" The others started to remember what they promised and rushed back to get their schedules. When they got back Marv asked something to the others, "Wait, are we even allowed to leave campus when we have a free period or periods.

"Yeah, but you have to have a valid reason, like a Job or something that you regularly have to do. After that, you have to get approved by 3 teachers to get a card that lets you off campus; however, you can only use a few minutes before that period and 15 minutes before the next class you have," said Marc, reading from the student Manual that he digitized.

"Ok, seems simple enough. Let's do that tomorrow," said Isaiah, who was most excited to leave, as he wanted to buy something for the case.

The six then started to walk to the main gate, and as the gate's voice started to speak and the scanners popped up, they immediately scanned their ID's, once they were out, they immediately started to walk down as fast as they could so that they could use the day to its fullest.
