  As the beam hits his body, it disappears—no scratch on him. He continues his nap.

  The scene shifts to Wrthas and Trazx. Wrthas swings at Trazx's neck, but instead of hitting, the poleaxe passes through. Wrthas roars, "You're not getting anywhere!" He charges toward Trazx, but the closer Wrthas gets, the farther Trazx seems. Trazx's voice echoes everywhere: "You're a mere dense point for me. I am a path. Fuel me the—”

  The scene shifts to the soldiers advancing. Demon soldiers kill angels here and there. Soon they reach the archers, where Sho's horse gets shot multiple times with thunderbolts. He falls down.

  Archers shoot him with no mercy as thunderbolts penetrate his body. He stands up, his body bleeding, as his chest glows green. whoosh, a green aura covers him as his wounds heal. He whispers to himself, "This lower Noble (Hybrid) blood is really something else.”

  Flashback (Sho’s thoughts)

  Child Sho stands behind a door, eavesdropping on a conversation between Trazx and Xicto.

  Trazx, in desperation, says, "No, we can’t use Sho and his brother for wars—they have the blood of the nobles.”

  Xicto furiously retorts, "Watch what you say—nobles? They are just diluted blood hybrids. They come from the family of crossbreeders. Those two broke rules, leading to this generation of diluted-blooded bastards.”

  Trazx retaliates, "A blood formed by demon and angel is far nobler than any blood, even if it's diluted. We must protect them—you know what happens when the Heaven Realm finds out we have lower nobles.”

  Xicto gets up and says, "Heaven doesn't care about diluted blood—it's safe. And if you come in my way, one of us will be dead for sure." He slams open the door, sees Sho standing there, and says, "Don't worry, nothing will happen to you," while patting his head.

  The Sea of Connection (the battlefield).

  Sho is covered in green aura as he runs through the archers in slow motion. He touches an archer's hand—the archer's body turns into a skeleton as his blood drains away, skin sticking to his bones as his eyes fall out.

  Sho runs through every archer, killing each one. His thoughts run: If I don’t kill, I will be killed.

  As he reaches Kei and is about to touch her, she says, "You want to reunite everyone, right?" as her own eyes water with fear of death.

  Sho speaks calmly: "How do you know that?”

  Kei says, "I can see it in your eyes.”

  They lock eyes.
