Several hours passed since the attack happened and they reached the coast of the continent and saw a large snowy forest. In the distance, one could spot a tall thing that had 1 spinning light. When Coltman saw this in the camera view, he continued with his explanations of the area. “You see that tower, it is one of the relays that marks the perimeter of the lab. The perimeter is 10 kilometers away from the main part of the labs. We are about 300 kilometers from the mountains and the prison fields are another 820 kilometers away. The perimeter is there for both storage reasons and security reasons. In 10 minutes, we are switching into pure magic mode since the anomaly affects baseline tech for some reason. It is likely we will land in 30 minutes if nothing goes wrong.”
As time passed, they passed the relay tower and then started to see another tower. This one was thicker and had more lights on it. When they got closer, the snow covered trees that had been everywhere had cleared up and a wall could be spotted near the base or the towers. When they got near the base of the tower, they could see a large gate and 10 heavily armoured and clothed individuals walked out with 1 unarmed person.
Vegis and his group landed in front of the gates and waited for these people to open the doors. The doors popped open and they walked out. The cold winds blasted them as they walked outside. The unarmed individual walked over to them and handed them thick coats to wear as they led the group to a small building near the gate. The inside of the small building was warm and had some chairs and a metal table covered in markings that glowed a light red.
The one who led them into the building took off their mask and goggles and revealed themselves. They have silver balls for eyes with light green skin. While they had face structures similar to humans, their hair was thick as vines and pieces of their skins were blue forming a pattern. Their forehead contained a block dot that sucked in all light that touched it.. This was a Magi, one of the races from the Maouin system. They were more in tune with magic and had senses that allowed them to detect its flow from outside their body with ease compared to humans. Their very biology relies on high mana density to work properly.
“Hello there, newcomers. I am Doel Farseer. I am the head director and manager of this facility.” said the green person. “I can see that you’re surprised that someone of my kind is here. That is because we have found a T1L4 tear here. The mana density in this area is roughly the same as an edge world in my home system. It will take another decade or so before the entire planet reaches that level and this becomes a world capable of holding any from my system. I’m going off track. We need you to register yourself into the M.M.(Man Management) system and the C.M.(Clone Management) system. You guys will fill our required 100 Clone managers for boosted funding. You just need to cut your hand and infuse it with mana whilst placing it on the table.”

Vegis stepped up and did this. As his hand let out a small amount of light and his blood was pressed into the table, a new mark was made on the table and the blood was absorbed into the symbol. The other 2 did the same thing after him and had the same result but with different symbols. “Okay. You three are now registered into the system and will be escorted to your accommodations for your time here.”(Doel) Everyone walked outside and saw that the guards had packed the tubes that held the clones in a cart. They then walked to a gas powered car that has been enhanced with auto heating and internal climate control and attached the cart to it and had Vegis, Jess, and Jonsa into the car. Doel and Coltman went into another car and then drove onto the path. It took 10 minutes for them to arrive at their new home for the next while.
The groups walked out of their cars and saw the towering building. It was 12 stories tall and very wide. The group of people walked in and several individuals walked out to move the pods into the building and took them to the stairs. Vegis stared at them and realized they were clones. They moved in perfect sync and were virtually the same in every way. The other 2 were staring at other things like how the first floor seems to have many facilities like a pool, tables, and other recreational things.
Doel walked to the front of the group and spoke. “This is Your building. The first floor is mainly recreational things that can’t be done in the rooms and is also a gathering area. The second floor is the clone storage. While yes you could use your room to do it, it is not recommended since it's not that big. Every floor after that holds 20 rooms. Each is equal in quality. There is also a basement which is used for storage of tools for the building and the shortcut. We do have connection to the LSN but it is a lower bandwidth due to the properties of these land. You will be able to browse websites and watch things but you can’t do any online VR. as for offline ones, the tech needed probably broke when you arrived.”
Doel then took out 3 key cards from his pocket and threw them at Vegis, Jonsa, and Jess. The cards had different numbers on them. “These are your IDs and keys for your room. You're unlikely to lose them because they can attach to your limbs. Now then. Off you go, your start time is on schedule.” Vegis looked at his card and it read 412. He climbed the stairs to the fourth floor and opened the door. Vegis walked down the hall and ended up at room 412. Inside was a bed, desk and kitchen. A bathroom was to his right and there were windows to the outside. He sat down and laid on the bed, falling asleep.
