Vegis woke up at the crack of dawn. Since the transformation, Vegis started to need less and less sleep. Originally, he would want to get 8ish hours of sleep, now he only needed 4ish hours. He could sleep longer but he didn’t need to. This month-long break was almost over, with this being the last week. In this bedroom, there were 2 beds. The one close to the window was Mitra’s and the one close to the door was Vegis’s. Mitra was still fast asleep and wouldn’t wake up for another hour or so. Vegis walked towards the bathroom and started to clean himself. The bathroom held typical bathroom appliances like the sink, shower, cabinet, bathtub, and towel rack. There were more advanced options, but those were mostly used in areas where resources are scarce since they felt uncomfortable and unpleasant. After a quick shower and brushing his teeth, Vegis quietly left the room and headed down the stairs to the kitchen.
Vegis clapped his hands and a wall opened up to show Vegis’s clones in their pods. He opened the pod of V2 and had it follow him to the kitchen. Vegis checked the fridge and saw leftover meat, eggs, cabbage, and other things. He heated up the cold meat in the microwave whilst V2 grabbed the onions and cabbage and started to cut it up. Vegis went to the garden to grab a couple of herbs, fruits, and potatoes. Vegis washed them and had V2 cut up the potatoes as he cooked the onions and cabbage together. He then boiled some water and tossed the potatoes in while V2 started to peel and cut the fruit. Vegis was basically done cooking when he heard footsteps on the stairs and turned around to see Mitra coming over very groggy. Vegis and Mitra ate as they watched the news. They finished but were still hungry. Vegis grabbed 2 metallic popsicles from the fridge and tossed one to Mitra. They consumed it and sat down to relax on the couch as V2 cleaned the table and dishes.
After V2 was done, It walked back to its pod and deactivated. After a while, Mitra went down to the VR room to do some studying and research. Vegis entered VR to guide her and stop her from looking at misinformation. They spent 2 hours in VR before Mitra got too bored and wanted to go wild. They got out of the house and Mitra started to fly around the trees while Vegis just walked around listening to the whispers.

Vegis noticed that the haze seemed to be attracted to his mana specifically and he could directly manipulate it. The haze didn’t seem to be mana and it confused him but he didn’t have much information about things like this to guess what was happening. Vegis only noticed a couple of properties about the haze: less leaks from unhealthy trees, more screams can be heard when they get damaged, and finally, that the haze is only affected by things that possessed a strong consciousness. Bugs, dumb animals, and bots don’t seem to have an effect on it, but when Vegis, some of the smarter fauna, and travelers pass by the haze, it acts like smoke though most don’t seem to be able to see it. The only exception to this was Mitra, for it actively avoided her unless she was airborne. Then it would wrap around her wings and seemed to help her fly faster than what should be possible.
It was just before noon when they headed inside and had lunch. It was just the same as their breakfast other than Vegis giving Mitra vitamins instead of the popsicle. They went back into the LSN for Mitra’s education for another 2 hours when they then stopped, ate dinner, and started to relax for the rest of the day. Vegis was just watching videos in the yard as Mitra spent time flying around. An alert broke Vegis from his binge watching and the cameras showed him that a vehicle had arrived. Vegis called for Mitra to return. At the same moment she landed, the craft arrived at the front of the home and parked. Vegis waited at the front door and Mitra was behind him staring at the machine on the driveway. The door opened slowly and out came Drake and Doel who were bickering as they got out of their transportation.
