"Push harder!" the Monkey King shouted, spinning his power pole in a wide arc. "This thing isn't dying yet!"
"Then we make it die," Nyte Fang snarled, darting beneath a swinging limb. Her katana Gakimo flashed, carving deep into the parasite's arm and severing it at the joint.
Green goo sprayed the ground as the creature howled, stumbling under its own massive weight.
Nyte Fang "Gross."
Father Hart crashed into the beast's abdomen with devastating force. The impact shook the earth, driving the parasite backward in a lumbering step "That is proof we are wearing it down, it's gooing all over."
"I'll keep my distance but continue to provide support!" Lord Sunscales roared. His Iguana Spear flew from his grip in a blur of green light, piercing the monster's hide and snapping back into his hand. Again and again he hurled it, each throw carving fresh wounds across the beast's body.
The Monkey King slammed his pole into the ground. "Earthen Shield!"
A towering wall of stone erupted before them, absorbing a rain of tendrils that would have crushed the deer soldiers behind him. "Now, strike!"
Relentless Coordination
The five leaders moved like nature's fury given form, each strike flowing into the next.
Nyte Fang carved along the beast's flanks, cutting away tendrils before they could strike.
Father Hart slammed into its legs, shaking its balance.
Lord Sunscales battered it with spear after spear, exploiting every open wound.
The Monkey King raised fresh barricades and smashed its limbs with the weight of the earth.
Yet the creature clung stubbornly to life, its roars growing weaker but more desperate. It swung wildly, crashing its massive fists into the earth, shaking the ground and scattering soldiers like leaves in a storm.

"It's not enough," Nyte Fang hissed, panting. "Our strikes are hurting it, but not finishing it."
"It's time," Grax rumbled, stepping forward at last. "I was hoping to save this for the king... but if this monster lives, there will be no king to fight."
The others stepped back instinctively. They knew what he meant.
"Two minutes," Grax said, planting his feet. "Keep it busy. I'll prepare the Ursen Claw."
"Two minutes!" the Monkey King shouted. "You heard him! Give him that time!"
The leaders threw themselves back into the fight with renewed ferocity. Nyte Fang danced through a storm of flailing limbs, carving into joints and eyes. Father Hart rammed the creature's side again and again, each collision sending it reeling backward. Lord Sunscales targeted its knees and ankles, breaking its footing. The Monkey King raised another shield, then another, blocking crushing blows meant for their soldiers.
The parasite screamed, its limbs growing sluggish, its wounds gushing rivers of black ichor. It struggled to stay upright, yet still refused to fall. It powered up, several more eyes bulged outward, it's limbs strechted.
"Thirty seconds!" shouted Lord Sunscales.
"Just a little more!" Nyte Fang yelled back, leaping onto the beast's back and plunging Gakimo deep into its spine.
The monster roared, and then froze.
The winds around Grax shifted.
Grax "It's ready"
A violent pressure swirled around his body, rippling the ground beneath his feet. His axe hand glowed with a blinding, spiraling energy, the raw breath of nature's wrath condensed into a single strike.
"This is our land..." he growled, muscles tensing as the storm reached its peak.
"...and you do not belong here."
With a roar that shook the sky, Grax surged forward and slammed his massive clawed hand into the earth. The air itself screamed, a titanic arc of concentrated wind exploded from the impact, slicing through the battlefield like a scythe of the gods.
"URSEN CLAW!"
The blast slammed into the parasite's chest and ripped through it entirely, cleaving its monstrous body in half. A shockwave tore across the valley, flattening trees and sending dust spiraling skyward.
The beast let out one final, agonized wail... and collapsed. The ground quaked as its body struck the earth, a thunderous crash that echoed for miles. Its limbs twitched once, twice... then went still.
The colossal parasite was dead.
Triumph of the Wild
For a moment, silence ruled the battlefield.
Then the roar came, first a whisper, then a flood. From bear to deer, coyote to lizard, monkey to bird, the Animal Tribes lifted their weapons and voices skyward.
Kellix "Incredible, they actually defeated it. It's almost hard to believe but we are really going to overthrow the Royals and defeat the King."
"HOOOHAAA! HOOOHAAA! HOOOHAAA!"
"For Ape Monger!" cried Kellix.
"For our homes!" roared the Monkey King.
"For the Animal Kingdom!" bellowed Father Hart.
The leaders gathered before the corpse, battered and bloodied but victorious. Nyte Fang wiped ichor from her blade and nodded. "It's done."
"Not yet, we still have to deal with those pesky royals" Lord Sunscales said, breathing hard.
Father Hart pawed the ground, antlers still crackling with earthen force. "Today we proved we can kill them."
The Monkey King rested his staff on his shoulder, a tired smile tugging at his lips. "Grax, the legends were true, the ursen claw really is the most powerful of in all the animal kingdom."
Grax stared silently at the fallen titan, his breath heavy, his body trembling from the power he'd unleashed. "Two strikes left," he muttered under his breath. "And one king still waiting."
Above them, the clouds parted and sunlight poured over the battlefield, a rare, fleeting peace falling over the land.
They had stood against the impossible and won.
The First Roar had shaken the world.
And the Animal Tribes... had answered back.
