Chapter 152: The Bears Last Roar

Domain wiped the blood from her lip, blade trembling in her hand.

  Across from her, Gravixor roare,

Her eyes, once gentle, burned like twin suns of grief and rage.

  Abi: 2700%

Avastma narrowed her eyes. She said to herself

"Judging by those spikes... this is Mega Max," she muttered. "A power only the Morphers can achieve."

Her gaze hardened as she analyzed the form before her.

"The Sisters' Trinity," she continued quietly. "Three pillars of power. The Scytherian. The Amazon. And the Morpher."

Her eyes traced the surging energy radiating from her opponent.

"This form allows the user's Abi to continue multiplying — pushing past natural limits until it overwhelms everything else. On paper, Domain techniques are considered inferior... but when paired with a form like this..."

  Her lips tightened.

  "...they become catastrophic."

  She exhaled slowly.

"Most can't sustain it. Their bodies fail before the power does. Only those with the right constitution, the right vessel, can endure it."

Her gaze sharpened, locking onto her opponent.

"And if she can hold that form... then she's already gone beyond what most were ever meant to reach."

Fanok placed his hand on Sephiss shoulder "I don't Domain is doing to good, this creature has just increased it's abi for the 3rd time and it doesn't seem to be stopping at any point."

Sephiss "I agree however, I am the all knowing, no human can have can have a base abi level as low as hers and stuggle to maintain a form like, not mention she'll need to double her Abi a few more times to reach domains level."

  Domain straightened her back.

"This is your last chance to surrender."

Gravixor lowered her head, shoulders rising like mountains.

"I... will gut you," she growled.

  Abi: 4500%

  "Domain... Seven Claws."

Avastma's eyes narrowed. "Where have I heard that name before?"

Her gaze hardened as she studied the surge of power before her.

"How can someone this weak wield a form like this?" she muttered. "Her Abi... it's still rising."

She tightened her grip on her weapon, resolve settling into her stance.

"I can't let this continue," she said quietly. "This ends now."

The ground vibrated beneath her voice.

  Domain's smirk faded.

  The bear charged.

  The Clash

Domain swung first, a precise, samurai-quick strike aimed at Gravixor's throat.

But Gravixor moved with instinctive, primal fury:

she twisted sideways and slammed her shoulder into Domain's chest.

The impact launched Domain through a collapsed home, bricks and dust exploding outward.

  Abi 5350%

  Avastma narrowed her eyes.

"The spikes are receding...," she murmured. "That confirms it. She's part of the Sisters' Trinity."

  Her gaze shifted, calculating.

"If she truly holds that power, then this situation just became far more dangerous."

She exhaled slowly, her expression hardening.

"I may have to intervene myself... but first—"

Her eyes slid toward Sephiss, cold and deliberate.

  "I'll deal with him."

Suddenly Gravixor noticed her spikes shrinking and in efefct her Abi began to drop "Oh shit, no not right now."

  Abi 3600%

  Fanok whistled low.

"Ahhh, it's as you said Sephiss."

Domain staggered out of the ruins, coughing dust and blood.

Her cheekbone was cracked. One eye swollen.

Gravixor barreled toward her "I have to end her now beforte my Abi drops into the double digits."

  The ground shook.

Domain raised both swords to block, but Gravixor clamped her jaws around Domain's arm.

  A sickening crunch.

Domain screamed, her cry tearing through the entire district.

Gravixor's teeth sank deeper, nearly tearing Domain's arm clean off. Blood streamed down, dripping onto the bear's snout.

  Gravioxr screamed "Nine Claws"

Domain struck Gravixor's head desperately with her free blade, once, twice, three times, but Gravixor struck her

  Abi 2300%

Domain stumbled back, barely able to stand.

Her right arm hung uselessly, tendons shredded.

  But her eyes... remained cold.

"You're strong," she spat through gritted teeth. "But you're losing Abi"

She pressed her palm to the ground.

  Mirrors materialized.

Gravixor "This move will finish you, SPIRAL BEAR!"

  Mirror Room

A sudden stillness fell over the battlefield.

Gravixor barely had time to react before the air shifted, a pressure so dense it felt like the world itself had inhaled.

  Then—

  Impact.

A single strike cut through the space between them.

  It wasn't fast.

  It wasn't loud.

  It was inevitable.

The blow struck Gravixor once, clean, precise, but in the same instant, that single strike multiplied, splitting into countless overlapping impacts that rippled through her body as if reality itself were echoing the motion.

Domain "You are not a bear, you're a human."

  Not reflections.

  Not illusions.

The same attack, repeating itself again and again across the same point in space.

Her body convulsed as the force landed from every direction at once, each impact perfectly synchronized, as if time itself had fractured around her.

  Avastma's eyes narrowed.

  "I have to act now"

  THUK, THUK, THUK, THUK!

Blood splattered across every mirror surface.

Gravixor's roar twisted into a choking gasp.

When the Mirror Room shattered, the glass dissolved into dust...

...and Gravixor lay on her side, her massive brown bear body pierced in dozens of places.

Blood pooled beneath her like a dark halo.

Domain collapsed to her knees, her nearly-severed arm gushing blood.

  Her breaths were ragged.

Fanok rushed to her. "Whoa! Whoa, Domain!"

  Domain snarled. "Don't touch me."

Sephiss stepped forward, inspecting Gravixor's body with eerie calm.

  "That Abi...

  A-tier, without question.

Such a being should never have existed on this island."

He turned away, cloak snapping behind him.

  "Let's go. She is finished."

Fanok supported Domain as they walked off. Avastma lingered.

  Staring.

  Listening.

  The bear wheezed.

  Gravixor's Final Moments

  Her body trembled.

Blood bubbled from her mouth. "I am a bear."

She tried to rise, one last time, but her legs buckled beneath her.

All she could see behind her closing eyes was Euly's smile.

The way he used to tie her fur braids.

The way he held her paw when she was scared.

She saw his body kneeling in the street.

She saw Braxill smiling at her from the back of Dragon Red.

And she whispered, voice broken and tiny:

  "...Braxill...

  I'm... sorry..."

Her breath faded. Her bear ears disappeared.

  Her body stilled.

  The mighty brown bear...

  stopped moving.

A wind rolled through the district, carrying the scent of ash and loss.

  Avastma lowered her head.

Even Fanok, usually laughing, looked away.

A warrior of the Animal Tribes...

a sister of the sacred Trinity...

  had fallen.

  To be continued.
