Chronos’ scheme was going to work out just as he planned it, he took out his cellphone and headed over towards a shady app where he could disguise text messages making it appear it was from somebody else.
“Ah yes, here we go” laughed Chronos.
Chronos already had Gloria’s information and her brother Rudolfo’s. All he needed to do next was to make a text message sound exactly what Gloria would send to her brother.
“Brother, I have something to show you in the gym, it’s about Davie the robot you brought me the other day” said Chronos as he inputted the text message.
All Chronos had to do was sit and wait – as for everyone at the gym, Matthew could tell something as off – the rogue time traveler should have triggered the trap by now. Carmal who was just resting didn’t realize Chronos was hiding within the bleachers behind him.
“Something doesn’t feel right” said Matthew.
“Just take a load off yourself there” said Carmal, “it’ll all work out.”
But Matthew wasn’t so certain, he could tell something was wrong. As for Rudolfo, he was just a few paces away finishing up meeting with another instructor. He then read the text message from his cellphone.

“A surprise about Davie, count me in!” laughed Rudolfo.
Rudolfo never missed anything his sister would tell him – he raced over towards the gym unaware of the entire trap itself. He continued through the hallways of the Academy until he finally reached the gym.
“Ah, here’s the gym right now!” laughed Rudolfo, “Sister, I am here for that surprise!”
But as Rudolfo opened the door, he pressed on a button that was on the floor.
“Wait, that wasn’t there before” said Rudolfo.
The button triggered a series of mechanical traps, almost retro cartoony, with each trap being placed all around the gym. Rudolfo scratched his head thinking this must have been some sort of strange science experiment. But little did he realize, a large bowling ball was right over his head. Havana realized what happened, along with Thad.
“We have to get him out of there!” cried Havana.
Thad knew he had to rush in and save Rudolfo, Matthew decided to step in to assist Thad.
“I was afraid something like this was going to happen” sighed Matthew.
Matthew decided to volunteer himself to save Rudolfo. He ran towards Rudolfo and tackled him to the ground just before the bowling ball would drop on his head. The bowling ball broke the floor of the gym.
“Wait, that was meant for me, what the heck is going on here?!” cried Rudolfo.
Rudolfo dusted himself off, he was pretty steamed, but also wasn’t happy with his sister.
“Brother, please, I can explain” said Gloria.
Rudolfo was about to fire Gloria, of all people. That’s when Chronos who managed to create his Samuel mask again stepped into the frame.
“Excuse me sir, but it’s not your sister’s fault” said Chronos, “you see, I am secretly an undercover inspector in dealing with these tiny robots like Davie she was trying to show around.”
Chronos had made up the perfect alibi – the one true alibi that not even Rudolfo could reject. Tyler, Dex and everyone else were disappointed with Chronos’ revelation.
