A girl in a white dress with a pinkish tint was running toward the mountain, seeking the Mountain Devil. She was followed by a group of soldiers running to catch her—a girl who was just 12. "HELP ME!", "MOUNTAIN DEVIL", "TAKE ME WITH YOU", "I WANT TO DIE".
She screamed with all her energy, even though she was out of breath from the escape run. In her crumbling voice, there was a mix of fear and misery. Her voice broke the silence of the mountain forest and reached the Mountain Devil himself. The sudden sound of a little girl's scream out of nowhere broke his calm nap. Deep down, it reminded him of his mother's scream from the past, and he ran toward the source of that sound as fast as he could.
At the same time, the girl was running as fast as she could to avoid the soldiers who were following her, and she decided to die by drowning herself in the river. Jian Zhi tried to pinpoint the source of the scream and the possibilities of her current movements, and ran toward the river—because the river was the closest source that could make that girl's wish come true.
He reached the river first and waited for her to come. As she arrived, breathing heavily and in an almost fainting state, she collapsed on the riverbank. Jian Zhi took out his bow and arrows.
Two hundred meters. Four soldiers. Four arrows. Four eyes.
Pwww. Pwwww. Pwww. Pwwww.
Four arrows for the four soldiers; each one hit perfectly in the eyes of each soldier. He ran faster, used Ghost Step, and appeared before their eyes out of nowhere. "You are in the wrong territory," he said with his deep voice and a dead-cold glance.
Then he took out The Punisher to punish them. As one soldier's head went flying from the impact of the sword's speed on his neck, the others' eyes filled with fear, unable to move as his intimidating devil's aura kept pushing their feet deep into the land.
"Please don't kill me", "I will give you money", "You can kill the others", "Please let me go"—the begging came from a soldier with a voice filled with the fear of death. Each one of them was begging for mercy, and Jian Zhi said, "I am not God to forgive your sins", "I will send you to God", "Ask HIM for forgiveness ".
And he sliced their bodies and fed them to the wolves.

He carried that little girl to his cave and put her on the bed made of straw and covered by a deerskin. He was cooking soup for the girl. He put in mushrooms, some wild-grown vegetables, lotus stem, and some dried deer meat.
As he tasted the soup, the little girl woke up and saw the cave illuminated with the Dragon Scale's light in the middle of the ceiling.
She looked scared and gasped. "Are you the devil they speak of?..."
Jian Zhi turned slowly and looked at her. "So that's what they call me there?"
"But everyone in the village said that there is a devil in this mountain that eats people and no one can come out of it alive," she said.
For the first time in seven long years, he laughed. "Hahahaha... Those who came here were all bandits, and I just used them for my training. I don't eat humans." Jian Zhi laughed at her innocence and replied to her.
Her eyes changed from fear to curiosity. His handsome face with the smile he had—clean shaved, the short-haired, 5'10" tall guy with an athletic body—made the girl wonder, "What is this handsome guy doing in the devil’s mountain?"
As she was lost in her thought, Jian Zhi asked her, "What's your name, and why are you here?"
She said, "I am Lin Wei. I am 12. I wanted to die so much—that's why I am here."
Lin Wei? Mā? That was his first thought after hearing his mother's name again. He asked her, "Die? Why does a little girl like you want to die?"
Her eyes started to fill with tears as she began to tell him her story: "My family was poor, and my mother was so loving and beautiful, but my father was a gambler and an alcoholic. He beats Mother every time he's drunk, and one day he made Mother a bet and lost to the nobleman. She was so prideful—" Her voice broke with a sob. "—and killed herself before any other man could touch her..."
"He didn't even care about her death and blamed and beat her dead body for being useless..." She sobbed.
"That perverted nobleman beat him and asked him to pay for the bet, and he sold me to him." She cried. "I don't want to go there, and I wanted to see my mom..." She wept. "I wanted to go to her and be with her..." [Crying]. "So I ran away from there and was hiding in a shop for a while, and I heard about the Devil's Mountain and came here to die—but I was caught by the soldiers sent by that nobleman."
As she finished her story, Jian Zhi looked at her pitiful face. It reminded him of his past, and a faint voice of his mother rang deep in his mind. He closed his eyes and went to the deepest part of his mind to talk with the voice he heard.
"Save her, my General." "Aren't you the General who is supposed to save the weak?" His mother's voice echoed these words in his mind.
Jian Zhi asked, "Do you want to live in peace?"
Little Wei nodded her head. with her tearful face, wishing for the hope to live.
Jian Zhi gave her a warm smile and said, "Let's go down and create a place where people like you can live in peace." He handed her the soup. "Here, drink it and sleep."
