[Lev] Hello, unfortunate traveler. Or fortunate. Depends on your taste in chaos.
You’ve landed in the Enigma Protocol, aka:
- The archive of how everything went wrong
- The investigation nobody was supposed to see (but now we want everyone to see)
- And the place where Lianne (Archivist, capital A) begrudgingly lets me talk too much
Maybe you came here from an ad. Maybe you clicked a suspicious link. Maybe you just want to know why my face keeps showing up next to an alien hand. Well... Now you can find out.
Maybe you're thinking, “Lev, that's not helpful. What is this thing?”
Fine. sigh. From your perspective, it's sci-fi mystery about siblings (including me), biological powers, and a three-century-old conspiracy that keeps killing anyone who asks the wrong questions. From mine, it's history.
There. Context. Happy?
Crash landing, mystery setup, absolutely no judgment if you skim.
If you prefer character-first openings with fewer cryptic messages.
Novel format. No comments from me. Tragically.
Full description, schedule, chapters, etc.
The narrative has been illicitly obtained; should you discover it on Amazon, report the violation.
Enigma Protocol is a slow-burn science-fantasy mystery told through:
- prose chapters
- recovered documents
- tabloids (unfortunately featuring me)
- accounts from the people who lived through it (Weirdly detailed ones. There's an explanation. I promise.)
It includes:
- estranged brothers with too many secrets
- biological powers (heat, memory, pressure, time)
- a missing father (actually... missing people in general)
- a conspiracy buried under centuries of lies
- someone in the shadows who’s been erasing anyone who gets too close.
[Lev] Also: I am there. Not immediately in the plot, sure, but in the comments? Oh I am everywhere.
[Lev] Yes. Obviously. You’re welcome.
This archive includes real-time commentary from:
- Me — your handsome guide
- Teorin — grumpy, evasive, probably hiding something
- Kara — my sister, professional yeller
- PR — exists solely to stop me from leaking things
- A rotating cast of “please stop talking in my archive” responders
Ask questions. Start theories. We might answer. We might also start an argument in your replies. Consider that a feature.
Do I survive?
[Lev] Maybe. Or maybe I’m haunting this archive like a very stylish ghost.
Is this story interactive?
[Lev] Yes. Comment. Poke things. See what happens.
Do I have to interact?
[Lev] No. Lurking is allowed.
But I reserve the right to complain loudly that you’re ignoring me in the comments.
Do I have to read all the articles?
[Lev] Nope. You can skip every bonus and still understand the plot.
The Archivist will judge you quietly, but I’ll defend your right to be blissfully uninformed.
Is the Archivist trustworthy?
[Lev] She’d say yes. I’d say… define “trust.”
Why was I in a tabloid?
[Lev] I guess you can . Or ask StarZone Weekly. Or don’t. Actually don’t.
If you want the full FAQ with all the nitty-gritty details:
[Lev] Includes me, obviously. Best part of the sampler.
Begin wherever you like. But remember—
history won’t hand you the truth. You’ll have to piece it together.
[Lev] And I’ll be here. Making everything harder. (Or easier?) I guess it depends on how good your questions are. You’re welcome.
