Things I wanna say and just some fun lore drops and my take on the power stuff. Let's dive in.
First off, let's talk about Ray's past friends. I've always seen Ray as this ancient, bored god-figure — 200 million+ years old, seen empires rise and fall, planted that cosmic tree that kicked off the Heart mess. But even gods had beginnings, right? Back when he was "young" (like, a million years ago or something), Ray had a tight crew of three friends who were basically his ride-or-dies. There was Vara — a rift manipulator like him, but wilder, always pushing boundaries with her portals, opening doors to places that shouldn't exist. She was the one who first showed Ray how to "reset" small worlds, but she got lost in one of her own rifts during an experiment. Then Kael (not Frosty's cousin, different guy) — a fire specialist, cocky and hot-headed, could make flames that burned through time itself. He and Ray clashed a lot, but they saved each other's asses in countless wars. Kael died trying to contain a supernova-level explosion to protect Ray. Lastly, Sira — the healer of the group, calm and wise, could reverse aging or heal soul damage with a touch. She was Ray's moral compass, the one who kept him from going full "end the world" mode too early. She sacrificed herself absorbing a curse meant for Ray, which is why he's got that distant, "I don't cry except for my brother" vibe now. These three shaped Ray into the villain he is — he lost them one by one, and it made him see everything as temporary, replaceable. That's why he's so detached; friends die, worlds end, but he keeps going. I think it adds that layer of tragedy to him — he's not evil for fun; he's evil because he's alone.
Second, the verse scaling. I wanted to make this clear 'cause it's come up a lot in our convos and fan theories. Will Breaker isn't just "strong guys punching" — the scaling goes multiversal -> omnipotent -> stronger than toon force. Multiversal means top tiers like Ray, Jane, Sky, Jason can destroy/create/affect infinite universes, timelines, dimensions, possibilities. That's base for them — fireballs wiping cities/states? That's kid stuff; Ray's rifts can swallow entire multiverses. Omnipotent kicks in at their peaks — they can do literally anything with no limits (rewrite reality, erase concepts, ignore logic). Ray planted the cosmic tree that birthed the Heart; he's basically a god who decides what exists. And stronger than toon force? Yeah, that means no gag character no-sells anything here. Bugs Bunny, Saitama, Deadpool — their "lol I’m cartoon so I’m fine" doesn’t work. Jason’s frame hax + afterimages + regen overrides it — he can turn them into glass, drop to 1 fps, and erase them permanently. The verse is built to beat those “unbeatable” tropes. It's why fights like Mara vs Jane felt like gods clashing; they're operating on scales where reality bends to their will.

Third, top 5 strongest characters (no plot armor, just pure feats and scaling from what we've seen so far). This is my take based on everything — power, hax, mindset, all of it. No "MC wins 'cause he's the hero" — straight facts.
Jason — S+ rank, Projection Sovereign: Frame Rush. 600 fps bursts, infinite afterimages, Framework realm drops you to 1 fps while he stays infinite. Instant regen, turns people into glass, punches through mountains. No fear, pure sadism. He’d blitz and erase most fiction — favorite villain for a reason.
Ray — 200M+ years old, true form god. Planted the cosmic tree, rifts that erase multiverses, aging touch turns you to dust. Soul connections, rewrites Heart rules. Bored, but unstoppable when serious.
Leo — Bat wings gone, but claws + raw power. She ripped her own wings off — that's mindset. Speed close to Jason's, but with rift-summoning ties to Ray. Underrated, but she’d shred most in a 1v1.
Sky — SS+ rank, light-blue aura infinite frames, Infinite Horizon decapitates in 0.1 sec, Frame Bind 1 fps freeze, immortality curse infinite regen. Spatial hax counters speed, but trauma holds him back.
Max — SS rank, Echo Sovereign shadows at different fps, jackpot state supersonic, infinite echoes stack damage. Loyal, but broken after Cam — his shadows heal him mid-fight.
Lastly, next time I do one of these author chapters, there will be a Q&A. Drop your questions in the comments or messages — what you wanna know about the lore, characters, future arcs, or even my writing process? I’ll answer the best ones next time.
