How fruitless.
“Samiel.” A voice called out to the girl, it was night time once more— she stood outside her door, looking at the sky.
Again.
The voice belonged to Xeras, who was accompained by a sludging Adeem who panted as he tried to keep up with the man who ran toward her. He plotted his feet against the dirt, saluting. Trees waving behind him, a strange black shape crept in the leaves however but—
“Samiel Guildford!”
Samiel’s eyes averted from the tree and toward….
“Xeras? Why are you so…. strange today?”
The man was itching his cheek, a small smile crept on his face as he gulped; “You are really signing up for the enlightenment?”
“What are you—”
“The Lord spoke it to us.” Adeem sighed, “It seems quite strange that even after the Lord departs and bestows you— us, with power. You decide to try attain more after twenty years.”
“I never even—”
“You do know what it is right?” Adeem scoffed, he pat his feet against the ground as the moon glowed on his back, “It’s a zero percent chance to be a true God.”
“Wait? I don’t know what you guys are talking about. What’s ‘The Enlightenment’?”
“If you don’t know then that means the Lord must’ve spoken the truth of the future.” Xeras scoffed looking up to the sky.
“I envy him.”
“Envy?” Samiel’s eyes glimmered as at Xeras as Adeem’s eyes were darted towards the ground.
“I envy him. He’s born into this world knowing what he must do, what he can do— what his fate and everyone else’s fate will be.”
“You going to start monologuing?” Adeem shot a smile.
“He knows what will happen after he’s long gone— how when he’s gone, how we’ll each rule our kingdoms.”
“Kingdoms? He’s going to split Omalga into three parts?” Samiel attempted to grab Xeras by the shoulder who stepped forward, eyes still focused on the sky.
“That’s what I was shocked about as well— a trinity.”
“Trinity?” Adeem snickered. “Triune as if God?”
“I guess each one of us were chosen for a reason, to be his representative.” Xeras stretched his hand forward, his gaze locking on Ezekiel’s barn as they all stood opposite. “There must be a deeper meaning behind it.”“Like the ‘Relational Infinity Model’?” Adeem sniggered, covering his mouth with his right hand as his eyes formed into crescents; “Trinity emobides a dynamic and active relationship with God— as such we are our infinite selves.”
“Infinity is true power— the uncontrollable variable. The uncontrollable power.” Xeras turned around, his hands behind his back as he bowed. “We are the Trinity.”
“But you then disregard Ezekiel’s teachings. He says that he isn’t the true God and it is someone higher than himself.” Samiel hesistated before being grabbed by the collar.

By Xeras.
“You honestly believe everything the Lord says? You saw this morning, how he treated Amarze just for debating him.”
“But he’s omnibenevol—”
“The characteristic of God. He said that you? Then if he embodies all of God then he must be God.” Adeem smiled; glass shards layered amongst his teeth as the reflection of the moon shined.
“Let me ask you a question, Samiel.” Xeras’ eyes glared— the blue haze rippling into pitch white.“Do you think that life matters?”
“Hey.” A voice called out— foreign to them, but not her. “Hands off.”
2
A skinny red imp wearing a leather tunic and black boots walked into the fray.
“How did you get— oh. It’s you.” Xeras dropped Samiel to the ground as he stared at the Imp. “Zero of No Names.”
“Is that an insult?” The Imp snapped their head up at the man who scoffed.
“I’m not afraid of a mentally deluded person.”
“Why are you grabbing on Samiel.”
“Is the boyfriend going to g—”
POW.
A claw— fist landed on Xeras’ face, he didn’t budge or move however.
“Is the boyfriend going to get upset over their galpal being incomptent.”
“I’ve been watching you for a while, in the trees. You sound stupid.”
“Stupid?” Adeem grinned, “How so?”
“The True God isn’t Ezekiel. He proclaims himself God in name for you guys to understand the True One’s teachings— now when he divides his power into you three. You’ll feel that surge of being the strongest in your respective worlds, but you won’t be actual Gods.”
“Speak for yourself— oh wait. You can’t.” Xeras raised his dark eyebrows, “We’ll have our own religions. Own followers— Own people. We’ll own our world and make it fruitfull for our own people.” Xeras stomped his feet on the ground— it caving in instantly and relasing a spit of magma underneath.
“Our Own.” Adeem adlibbed.
“You are powerful. Quite powerful.”
“You came here all this way to google at your girlfriend, you creep?” Xeras cracked his neck. Walking up to the Imp and staring him down.
“Relax yourself. I know how you’d do so but not in front of her.” Adeem coughed, “She wouldn’t want to see her boyfriend be ripped apart by tentacles.”
“Ripped apart?” The Imp leered.
“Yeah.” Xeras cracked his hands, “I’ll make you into halloween decorations.”
“The random knowledge.” Samiel whispered.
“But who taught you so? We have regained unnecessary knowledge of the past— which we shouldn’t of. We are mistakes.”
“Bring it on.” Zero spat onto the soil, their saliva digging into the dirt and ripping out a singular ruby spear.
“Only one?”
“You speak as if you know me.”
“Your girlfriend can’t shut the fuck up about you.”
“I’ll cut your ears off so you won’t suffer with that anymore.”
“Enough.”
BRMMMMMMMMMMMMMM.
Everyone fell to the ground, an unexplainable and inescapble weight fell on them— almost crushing everyone sans Samiel. An invisible gravity pressed on every atom — as if the sky itself remembered who made it.
Ezekiel walked out his barn, groggy as his voice was extremely raspy— he was rubbing his right eye, yawning.
“The people I love so much shouldn’t be fighting as such.”
“M— My Lord!” Xeras yelped.
“You speak me as such but you don’t love me as I love you. It’s a shame.”
“What?” Adeem spat.”
“I never had faith in the future God of Phantasms to trust in me as I believed in him. He didn’t believe in the me that believed in him.”
“E—Ezeeekiel!”
The God turned over and saw Zero squirming on the ground, ruby spear equipped— spirals in their eyes.
“You are a fascinating one. I love the ones with a horrible fate at the end.”
“What are you—”
“The Invalian Mutilator?”
“What’s Invalia?”
“You’ll know in approximately twenty years once everything is all set up and loaded.” Ezekiel turned his back on the rest and began to walk back.
“What a shame! How I shall deal with my loved treating me as if scum! What a shame!”
BAM.
The palm gates to the barn closed as the weight faded— Zero springing up, walking away.
“Zero?” Samiel’s eyes glittered.
The Imp turned around, giving a coy smile before continuing to walk away again.
Again.
Again.
Until there was no more walking — only silence.
“I understand now.”
Samiel stood up, their eyes widened.“What are you talking about?” Adeem tilted his head, smiling beside her.Samiel spun her head the entire way round— staring at Adeem and then Xeras on the ground.
Creeak.
Creeak.
“Creaak!”
“The World will end. It will surely end! There is no other fate!”
“Samiel?” Xeras’ eyes floated up, “Are you alright?”
“I see it all. I see matter!” She clutched her chest.
“I’VE BEEN THE FIRST TO GAIN DIVINITY!”
“What?” Adeem roared—
“AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!”
A scream rang out as the ground— the ground shifted from forest green to bubblegum pink.
“MATTER!”
The world pulsed once — then color bled out of reality itself.

Here's a quote for me to end off on,
"A life without a death is simply a painful experience."
