So as not to set up a chain reaction that will land him on the ground below that he came from; after Masa Ed throw the axe out and before he climbed up the round opening, he let go of the golden chain, practically making a difficult decision because he found the golden chain extremely useful and fascinating, thus an object he would like to have and explore further.
Anyways... after releasing the chain and letting it fall back down to the ground, he turned the lantern across his neck to the back with the hand he was holding the golden chain with, then he grabbed the outer edge of the round opening with that hand also like the first hand he was hanging with, and lifting himself up though with little difficulty, he leaned forward and with the help of the forward momentum, he was out of the slanted round opening about 1.8 meter wide. Like he planned and expected, he was out of the strange burial ground he wouldn't like to return to. Finally, he was at the other side of the round opening, lying flat on the golden ground about 0.8 meter below it.
So standing up from the golden ground on the other side of the round opening he discovered to be an opening on a slanting golden wall at forty five degree to the golden ground, curious as to where he is, he lifted his head and there in the enchanting starry sky of the living world, he saw the glowing new moon he is much more familiar with looking back at him like always.
No more weird shit I hope.
Hoping he is out of the strange place, Masa Ed looked before him, and discovering the golden ground ends in a sharp cliff at about few meters away from him, he turned around, facing the round opening on the golden wall that is actually a hundred and thirty five degrees to the golden ground he is standing on, both extending left and right into the far distance.
"Am I standing on top of a pyramid?"
Uncertain as to where he is, Masa Ed went left, moving a little bit from the round opening he came out from. Then facing the golden wall a little above three meters long again, he jumped; then grabbing its top edge, he crawled up it to its top which he discovered to be a flat ground of glowing white ground like the burial chamber that seems to extends infinitely into the distance and in all directions.
Then raising his head, "?!?!?!"
Masa Ed became stunned and speechless at the sight of a super grand mansion of gold with glowing white intricate designs. A building so big he felt he could grab it even though its far away.
"What?"
While he is having a detailed look at the building, he became surprised as he saw a silhouette of a person on one of its unusually large glass windows.
"Maybe... Fuck!"
Suddenly remembering where he came from at the same time the silhouette turned like someone behind the glass window turned to look at him, Masa Ed quickly turned around and jumped down to the golden ground he climbed up from with his heart beating rapidly from fear that originates from the weight of what he concluded the building might be.
'Its probably the strange place and that person might be one of their guys.'
Making haste and about to run for it along the golden ground, Masa Ed looked around for the axe he threw, and not finding it, he realized it might have fallen of the cliff. Then hoping he can miraculously recover it, he moved closer to the edge of the golden ground.
"Oh..." He became surprised at what he saw.
Just below the golden ground unlike what he expected is a descending cliff steps that each of its steps extend horizontally as long as it and are covered in brown soil that supports the growth of dense bush and creeping plants, probably leading to the forest down below on the leveled ground he can also see, thinking if he can't find the axe on the steps he should be able to find it there.

Then continuing in haste, Masa Ed repositioned in front of the round opening he came out from and he starts climbing down the steps from there—one step at a time—while carefully looking amidst the bushes growing on them for his evil axe.
"Where has this axe gone?"
Masa Ed looking around the steps he is standing on having gotten close to the leveled forested ground below, stand still, wondering why he is yet to find the evil axe he has been looking for. Also, the thought of loosing the evil axe after having to let go of the golden chain worries him a lot. Giving there mystical properties, they will be great assets in his future adventures.
Then, remembering the goal was to go as far as possible from the strange place above the stairs, he continue on his way down the steps whilst still searching for the axe until he reached the forested level ground below that he made sure to search thoroughly.
"I guess, the axe is gone." He muttered, looking a bit sad for not finding the axe before he set on his journey through the forest of big trees and tall bushes, walking under the night sky with the new moon as his only companion while trying not to get hurt by the sharp edge of the bushes he his plowing through and the sticks on the moist black soil he is stepping on.
...
Moments later,
Masa Ed in need of water to quench his scorching thirst luckily came upon a pool of clear water next to a large tree; so quickly nearing it, he crouched in front of it and he quickly get enough in his system by rapidly and repeatedly scooping some with his hand, quenching his thirst and reinvigorating his system.
Then maintaining his crouching position in front of the pool that has settled with his lantern leather handle strapped across his neck—dangling... looking at his own clear reflection in its colorless water that has returned to being clear and undisturbed—looking like a mirror—the memories of what he has gone through from the time he first woke up in the strange place, including its lingering fears and pain suddenly rushed out from his recess, gripping him totally that he started shaking all over violently like he had epilepsy.
However, the next moment, a profound feeling of loneliness and emptiness like he has never felt before erupted from his deepest depth and pervaded all his whole being totally and thoroughly that tears of sadness started streaming from his eyes uncontrollably.
At this moment, he felt lost and lonely. He has no idea where or who he should run to for refuge and comfort. But even then, what of his look? Who will believe he is Masa Ed?
As better as Masa Ed can see in his reflection, only his somewhat big round eyes except for their occasional mystical glow remains the same—exceptionally as pure and limpid as he always knows, even if most people call it scary and dangerous.
The original Masa Ed is suppose to be an unkempt man of age a little above 30. There is no way Masa Ed is an incredibly handsome young man with skin clearer than dew, a sculpted frame more noteworthy than the statue of david when it was first revealed, and his hair avant garde—middle part as dark as raven's and the part at both sides as white as snow.
Also, no matter how much he knows about the original Masa Ed, with his current unique and angelic look, he is certain if news of him claiming to be Masa Ed were to reach the peace keepers... being charged for the crime of torture to extract information and the crime of murder is guaranteed. The idea of the supernatural as far as the world knows will forever remain in fictions. No one will believe his fantastical experience despite how well he recounts them.
So now, where does he belong? Where would he go and who is he among humans of his kind living in a place called society? A place where everyone has a label and a price tag he definitely no longer have the moment he woke up in the strange place.
'Should I go to my sister? She will believe me if I take her to the place I kept her babydoll when we were little, no, that won't work... she is both superstitious and smart; she will either think I got the location from her dear younger brother I killed and I have disposed of, or I am some kind of scamming spirit coming for her wealth; either way, it's not a good idea to go to her, but she is the only one calm enough to let me complete my story before she get me lynched, maybe my junior brothers, no, the annoying and rude one will blast my head open with a canon the moment I say I am Masa Ed, and the frivolous and cheeky bastard will definitely first take me for a ride after listening to my story, help me settle and will later sell my story for profit; either way I am never returning to my family as Masa Ed.'
Although Masa Ed felt an overwhelming sadness in his heart, with a happy smile on his face, he ruminates while the beautiful faces of his family one by one flashed in his mind: from his mother and father to his big sister and her family, and lastly his two younger brothers he really could care less about.
