A Wish and a Want

I want to ride on the wings of paradise, a land of fortune, destiny, hard-work, and the sensation of fulfillment.

I want to spin into a world of nothingness, being a beacon of blinding light in the cruelty of the world.

I wish to be a perfect creation. I wish to not be seen as a god, an intimidating and aloof entity, but a forge of passion.

I want to not give in to the temptation of darkness my shadow that dogs after me mummers into the numbness of my body.

I want to seem stronger-more capable- than I truly am. I wish to be courageous.

I want to speak my mind and to jostle about the crowds into my own destiny. I wish to be courageous.

I want to know more people, to be more genial and compassionate.

I wisht o venture through the Great Plains and sapphire horizon, looking onward into a land of possibility, abundance, and opportunity.

I desire things that are common in this world: a purpose, individuality, determination, and courage.

However, what I desire most is an answer.

Why must we wait for an opportunity?

Why must we wait for the courage necessary to complete a task?

Why must we go against the threads of fate to achieve our sense of self?

Is human nature truly rebellion against the grand scheme of the world?
