Those are Oni members. They are known to frequent these types of events. Succubi lure in others with their beauty. Sebil influences them to keep them addicted to the music so that she can keep tourists coming. The oni are allowed to feed off the unique emotional state the music's effects have on the guests, so that those who attend the concerts do not overload. It is a balanced and mutually beneficial arrangement between the Succubus and Oni Crests.
"So, no one's getting hurt?" I asked to make sure.
That would interfere with tourism, Viraa stated in an obvious tone, but then answered straight. No, they are not hurt.
"Good," I sighed in relief. As I looked down and watched the shadowy cindarians move unnoticed by the civilians, I realized they were our next crest to visit. "Well, I've seen all I need to see from here. The concert also seems only just to be getting started, so let's head out," I told them.
"Hm? Are you afraid of the succubus?" Avarice teased, trying to read me.
"I've had enough people toy with us. I'd rather not meet someone with her kind of powers alone."
"A thought-out reaction...well done," he replied condescendingly.
"I'm with you on that one," Za'Fia agreed with me, lifting from the rooftop. After we shot off toward our next location, while soaring through the dusk sky, she threw out a random question. "Between Sebil and Damien, what do you think would happen if they met? Whose powers of persuasion are greater?"
I gave it some thought, but genuinely couldn't grasp if they'd even affect one another.
"I don't know..."
