  What do you mean, curses? Why am I cursed? Why is my class cursed?

  Dusk knew a bit about trailblazers, he knew that there were 10 ranks. Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Supreme, Mythical, Legendary, Sacred, Divine, and Holy. The lowest being common and the highest being holy. His mana core rank was common, which was normal, since he had just awakened. What wasnt normal was his Class and its rank. He'd never heard of the cursed rank or the cursed swordsman class. He knew that your class and its rank were random, so he just assumed that the cursed rank was a secret rank and that he had to keep it secret.

  What confused him the most was the fact that he had 2 curses, very few trailblazers had curses, and they obtained them from being cursed by powerful beings in the Mana Realm, the realm where the realm gates lead to. Dusk, however, obtained them through his class and artifact; his curses weren't that bad, there were a lot worse curses, but a curse is still a curse. However, the most interesting thing was his artifact. When a trailblazer awakens, they get an artifact equal to the rank of their class. Artifacts are special as they are bound to your soul, and only you can wield them. They also have powerful enchants, making them a Trailblazer's lifeline. They are also one of the rarest things in the world, as they cannot be crafted and can only be obtained in your awakening or in the Mana Realm. His artifact the [Sin of greed], was of the cursed rank and only had 2 enchantments, but the 2 enchantments were very powerful ones [Lifesteal] steals the life force of your enemies and heals you with it, and [Devourer] was even more powerful. Dusk had never heard of a weapon that grows more powerful, let alone an artifact.

  His traits were also very interesting. [Lucky] and [Cunning] were self-explanatory. [Master of lies], however, was a lot more interesting. People believing you more easily was a great boon, and Dusk knew he would use it very well. But the most powerful and interesting one was [Undying will], being immune to mind attacks is basically a cheat skill since it includes many things, such as mind control, illusions, and seduction.
