She has learned to create other forms of life, but not animals. She can also create portals between her world and this world using doors. The world persists while she is not within it, but she cannot edit it unless within it.

- Devil Brand: Observational Parsing: Analysis - Haritte can observe information about someone by looking at them. The closer his relationship to that person, the more information he can obtain.

- A member of the Outsiders Society. Despite his young age, he is a junior doctor currently employed at a prestigious university hospital in the City. At first glance, he seems timid, but he possesses a strong moral backbone.
Krau Idrith
- Age: 43
- Elka’s father, and a member of the Outsiders Society. His wife, Elka’s mother, passed away from an illness years ago – an incident that prompted them to move to the City – and he has been raising Elka ever since. He adores his daughter and would do anything for her. He does not have a Devil Brand, but is adept at fighting with close-range weapons due to his previous career as a blacksmith.

- Devil Brand: Manifold Blessing of Heaven: Sigil - Luun can create sigils with a number of effects - most commonly defensive wards and strengthening sigils to defend and assist her allies. Unlike many Devil Brands, hers has a natural limit on usage which can be replenished by sunlight, food, and sleep.

- A member of the Outsiders Society. Classy and wise, she is adored as a big sister figure by Elka, and loves her back. She moved to the City about two years ago and currently works as a bartender.
Orlan Lucano
- Age: 20
- Devil Brand: Coordinated Assault Aid: Point Liner - Orlan can summon an arrow-shaped construct called Point Liner. It moves at his command, changing directions instantly, and can pierce diamond.

- A young man who leads the group known as the Outsiders Society. He is both optimistic and realistic, believing genuinely that he can make the world a better place while acknowledging that blood must be spilled to get there. He graduated university a year early, but has since gone on to take up a job in a warehouse.

- Devil Brand: Master of Arms - Retter can conjure and control weapons. The definition of a ‘weapon’ is anything Retter truly believes to be a weapon. As a master assassin, she most commonly uses firearms.

- Also known as “Golden Sorrow”. A foreign assassin who has come to the City. She has no qualms about killing civilians caught in the crossfire. However, she derives true satisfaction from encountering individuals who oppose her ideology with an equally strong one of their own, and her heart may even be swayed by them.
Riina Ivyn
- Age: 18
- Devil Brand: Innocent Virtue: Reverse - Injuries to Riina’s body are immediately healed, at the cost of her own lifespan.

- A somewhat lonely girl in her last year of high school. Meeting Exon has made her life brighter, even as she becomes entangled in the War. She is wholly dedicated to saving Exon.
Shiiko Ivyn
- Age: 45
- Riina’s mother. An alcoholic who drinks to forget her loneliness. Her husband, Riina’s father, left before Riina was born. She still misses him, but has prioritised raising Riina by herself to the best of her ability.
