A negative value signifies that the subject’s combat output, whether in destructive force or defensive capability, falls below the established benchmark called 'Lesser.' Once this lower threshold is exceeded, the value transitions into the positive range which is 'Greater.' A positive value, therefore, indicates that one’s combat statistics are above the standard benchmark rather than beneath it.
