There were three conclusions to the 'Ascension II' fusion. One of them involved elevating [Mercy] into its next transition. Doing so would make it lose the awakenings it had undergone, which was doable for me since its quality wouldn't drop, but I needed to carefully choose three ingredients that would accompany [Mercy] in its transition.
The first was [Tyrant’s Eye of the Storm]. There was no detailed explanation needed as to why I chose it, since it was just there as filling and nothing more.
Then there was [Fallen Lord Descension], which should act as one of the main concepts along with [Mercy]. I imagined the artifact hovering at my back, but previously it was a liability, should it be lost, I wouldn't be able to use it. However, with the appearance of [Fallen Lord Descension], it didn't matter anymore. It would become something akin to a summoned 'Soul Stand.' Thus, the restriction that I couldn't use [Mercy] when the artifact wasn't physically around me should be gone.
Lastly, there was [Predator-King’s Dominion]. It was something akin to a filler, but I thought, Wouldn't it be cool? Imagine the moment I summoned [Mercy], thousands of eyes would fracture reality as it glanced at my opponents, freezing them with the horror that a higher existence was watching them.
As for the other two sets of skills, I just randomly pulled some skills since I was too tired to pick which was which. I clicked 'Yes' as I yawned.

I sighed, watching the twelve sets of spheres in three separate corners. I watched them meld into three different nascent spheres that exuded profoundness and mystery, but I shook my head. I could see it, the unstable fusion of these skills was extremely incompatible with each other.
I merely stared at them, then pressured the skills with my mana so that they could fuse successfully. It happened after an hour of resistance. That the skills had finally fused together, revealing three golden spheres in front of me with their descriptions being rewritten. But before they could finish, I was already one step beyond them. I tweaked their descriptions to my liking so that no unwanted outcome would occur.
Hours passed as I pondered their descriptions. I started at [Mercy]. Since I wanted it to look cool, I tweaked its descriptions so that I could use [Mercy] as equipment or wield it as an astral weapon that a pair of astral hands would wield for me. Then I made sure to hide some cool functions in it that weren't in the text, like its entrance being as impressive as ever. The reality should fracture, followed by thousands of gargantuan eyeballs peering through the cracks as a sphere descends from the sky, hovering behind my back.
I finished it at that. As I tweaked the other two skills, then let go. Before I glanced at the notifications gracing me as I read their descriptions with satisfaction. Then, I cackled like a maniac at how dumb I was. [Mercy] was now something that I couldn't use in its full display due to my lack of mana.
Samantha, noticing my odd behavior, sighed then whispered to herself. "Haaa... I thought I was the only one going crazy. But it seems that my dearest husband is already turning insane like me, discovering his ugly sides."

It manifests from flesh, shadow, or astral space, consuming anything it seizes and converting all devoured energy into relentless regeneration. As long as the World-Maw exists, Alister’s recovery never stops, and its hunger never ends.
Endless Blood of Gold [Passive | Ascension III | ??]
A chaotic fusion Alister forced into existence, this molten gold-ore blood binds him to the sacred earth at its peak. It ignites overwhelming regeneration whenever earth integrates into his body and turns his blood lethally corrosive to any he deems inferior. Not a true bloodline—just the unstable beginning of one that could eclipse all others.

I cried at the descriptions in despair, then sighed as I stared at Samantha. She was chuckling to herself, which in itself was weird. Did Samantha have some screw loose?
Well, from what I recalled, except that she's a masochist, there was nothing wrong with her. So I guessed this weird behavior was a sign that she was going insane from all the shock that she had received after uncovering her odd fetish.
But forget it, since I was still busy fusing these damned skills. I sighed again, then glanced at my 'Ascension III' skills. I read their descriptions to see if I could cook something up. A few minutes later I shook my head, then pulled [Incarnate of the Fallen] to be the base of this new concept. I paired it with [Endless Maw of the Sanguine Lord] along with [Formless Sovereign Emergence] to top it all off.
I then pulled two others to fill the gap that these three skills, the main concepts of this new skill, would take. I glanced at the others, and then a thought struck me, What if I could create a domain where teleportation is restricted? A place where only when I dismissed it could they leave. A place isolated from the outside world. This meant that this domain would be where I could fight to my heart's content.
I smirked. I glanced at the three skills I had devoured from the holy knight captains. I pulled them together. I grabbed [Sylphid Summoning] so that this domain would act like they were summoned into a separate space. Then I pulled [Tidal Cataclysm Domain], which was the filler for this concept.
I clicked 'Yes' and waited for the glorious fusion with a smile. The skills melded together, forming into two separate spheres. This time it wasn't unstable, since I assisted it from the beginning. But then, my face went pale as I glanced at their descriptions.

Then my smile broke. As I watched in despair at the mess of descriptions that these nascent orbs had. I clenched my teeth at how hard I would have to work to fix this mess. Without waiting for a miracle to happen I flooded the two spheres with my mana, then took matters into my own hands as I began to write their descriptions myself.
At first, an hour passed as I wrote the descriptions and tested them. But then I sighed at how the flow of the skills didn't connect, thus, their effectiveness dropped. Another hour passed, and I tested it again. This time it was working quite properly, except the mana consumption was too much.
I clenched my teeth, then modified the descriptions. Tested it. Failed.
Then I repeated the cycle. Hours, or maybe days, had already passed as I stared listlessly at the ceiling, where a huge spiritual stone was chained, hanging above. I sighed, glancing at the descriptions of the skills with a dying face. I felt like I had literally wasted a million years of my lifespan in this fusion.
I sighed yet again, then stared at the pillars of the room. I wanted to be one, just standing still, lazing around. Maybe this is the sign that I'm going to laze for years, wasting my life away in laziness.

An absolute isolation-domain forged by Alister’s interference, severed from all laws that birthed it. Once invoked, the Domain becomes an enclosed arena where nothing can enter, exit, perceive, or intrude without the master’s permission. All senses, divinations, and cosmic sight fail before its shroud, and even the mightiest existences cannot peer inside unless they forcibly breach it. Those trapped within remain until Alister wills release or until his death, bound to a battlefield where only his authority governs reality.
