I know this may sound like an excuse, but a lot happened after the last chapter was released, and I went through a pretty rough time(Which I don't really want to mention. Sorry.) Because of that, I wasn’t able to continue writing for a long time. Things have settled down now, and I have finally been able to look at the story again with a clearer head.
While doing so, I finished the rest of the chapters for Book 2, but that was where I ran into a serious problem. The story structure itself wasn’t working anymore.
Up until now, the plot followed a repeated pattern: Aria enters a battle, the enemy prepares something for her, and she overcomes it. Not only that, but new settings and developments I planned for later volumes didn’t connect naturally with the earlier parts of the story.
This novel was originally meant to end in a single volume. However, when a lot of readers started to read this(it might be not a lot compared to other nobles, but it is a lot to me), I decided to continue into Volume 2, but I hadn’t prepared a direction for it. The academy chapter, in particular, was written mostly to buy time, and in the end, it didn’t solve anything especially since I actually stuck on that one.
After thinking about it for a long time, I have decided that the best option is to start over and rewrite the story from the ground up.
I am truly sorry to readers who enjoyed the original version. This wasn’t an easy decision, but I believe the future of the story won’t work properly unless the foundation itself is rebuilt.

Volume 1 will focus on the Northern Line and the Eastern Line.

Volume 2 will shift to supporting the allies of the Shiena Kingdom, mainly the Yiuiong Dynasty and the Republic of Prancón.

The story previously changed viewpoints quite often. Going forward, I plan to focus more on Aria and her companions.

Many battle scenes will be shortened to improve pacing. The Forest of Jade arc, in particular, will be significantly shorter compared to the original version.
World Settings:

The four continents, Olina (North), Evrallon (East), Falonde (West), and Enerel (South), will be merged into a single continent called Olina.

Demihumans such as elves, beastkins, and dwarves will be more actively involved in the world and the story.

Magic will play a larger role overall. New systems will be introduced, including structured spell classes like Order, Siege Spells, Wild Magic, homunculus, and more.
- Empire's Knight Bridges, which was 20, will be shrank to 5 but will still include Storm Crusader.
Characters:

Aria, the main character, will undergo the biggest change. Her background is being completely rewritten.
She is no longer a normal human, but an artificial human, a homunculus, created by the Shiena Kingdom as a weapon.
Her appearance remains the same, but instead of being a war slave, she is now a super soldier holding the rank of Warrant Officer at the start.

Lura, the elf who was rescued and later became Aria’s aide, will not change much. However, she will appear more frequently and have a larger presence in the story.

Deryk, Aria’s friend, will change roles. Instead of being an officer, he will start as a beginner mage, joining the 9th Corps after graduating from the Mage Academy.

Cedric, the General of the 9th Corps, will also receive some adjustments. His nickname will change from “Silver Tip” to “Moon Bringer." His strength would also dramatically increase.

There will be minor adjustments to other characters as well, but most of them will retain their original personalities.
There are of course, other changes but I would save for them later.
I will be removing all existing chapters of this novel at the end of January and will upload a new prologue, along with three additional chapters as a preview.
