To any survivors or curious readers that this may concern, I come with updates on the powers and abilities of some of the people that may or may not threaten my reign as the leader of the Underground Cities.

  No, it would be selfish of me to say these people, these potential enemies would only threaten me.

  For reasons I cannot say now, I will hold back the release of this recording until the day I feel it is appropriate to do so.

  I will not mince my words when I say this. You see, they threaten all of you innocent survivors and everything that we the Underground Radius have built and maintained for all of you. Our buildings, our food and water supplies, our electricity that grants you the technology and music that you people love so much. They threaten the entire world—a world already destroyed by the monsters and the undead.

  Some of my associates wanted me to record this message and speak empty platitudes to you all. They wanted me to reassure you that there’s nothing to worry about.

  But I don’t want to do that. I can’t do that. Do you want to know why?

  Because I answer to a higher law. I was chosen to protect you all. Is it not my God given purpose to protect what's left of our country?

  It is my job as a beacon of hope, as a representation of the good that still exists in our world to inform you of what these people can do and how exactly you can stop them if you ever cross paths with them.

  I will call this… the Ability and Contingency Plan Glossary. I will go through these individuals based on how much I feel they would actually pose a threat to me, to us.

  Contingency Codename: Devil’s Accomplice, Subject: Jerome Hunter—One of the few Type Two Radions in the world with a Radius Ability just as dangerous as his very existence.

  Energy Absorption and Energy Release—the strength of his body usually strengthening the power of the blasts.

  A simple ability on paper that becomes much more wicked when you realize that the very foundation of our world is built on energy. Zombies, Radioactive beasts, the water, the air, even the Nuclear and Radioactive energy that most of us RA users need to use our powers. This… monster is using the things that destroyed civilization in the first place against me, against us.

  There seems to be no end to what he can absorb… except for Atomic and Molecular Energy. These are the two types that I have no recorded evidence of him absorbing. I consider it very lucky that the majority of the Underground Radius consist of these two types.

  However, if a Nuclear or Radioactive user were to ever come across Jerome Hunter, just remember this—he can only absorb with his hands, fingertips, and mouth. This fact changes when he enters his Nuclear Version form, granting him a body packed with immense power and speed that allows him to absorb energy through all parts of his body. I had an encounter with Jerome in this form before, but he was obviously no match for me.

  This transformation comes from his ability to absorb the bodies of other Type Two Radions, something he also used to obtain his Nature Version form. From what I have seen, it allows him to manipulate and create plant life, but it’s still nowhere near the level of the woman he stole it from.

  Yes… stealing—the very basis of Jerome’s goals. He wants to steal our lives, our freedom, and our happiness by keeping the child known as Sunshine Hunter alive. I promise you all that that will never happen.

  Despite his constant denial of his daughter’s inevitable demise, Jerome can certainly be reasoned and negotiated with. Granted, you must have something of value that he finds useful. This can be information—preferably about his daughter—skills, or your Radius Ability. I assume this was the reason he spared my son.

  I will say this though. In the event that serious harm or death comes to his child, do not engage in battle.

  You will die.

  Contingency Codename The Devil on Earth, Subject: Sunshine Hunter: The human daughter of the talking Type Two is just as, if not even more dangerous than the man who contributed to her creation. No, it would be far too kind to refer to that creature as a human. Her existence could spell out the demise of humanity due to her Sunvirus, and I consider it a grave sin that not only her father

  wants to keep her alive, but she wants to stay alive too.

  Of course someone born after our world was changed wouldn’t understand how we survivors feel. And even though the Sunvirus isn’t her true Radius Ability, the way she uses that disease as a weapon against you survivors makes it something you should worry about. In fact, there may come a time where you may encounter that beast whilst dealing with the Sunvirus yourself, so let me tell you what that virus will do to you.

  Prolonged skin and muscle decay, the replacement of your blood with that of a zombie’s, long periods of intense, sharp pain in most areas of your body, the loss of taste and ability to feel external damage, and a few other minor symptoms. As you can see, that child, if you can call her that, is the equivalent of the devil, ravaging your bodies with her hellish wants and desires.

  However, there are a few ways to effectively deal with the Sunvirus if you are a regular human. Marijuana. Yes, I know this sounds weird, but there’s a specific kind of marijuana that acts as a temporary painkiller for the virus along with slowing the effects of it down. My Resource Adventures have informed me that its existence came after the Plant Type Two Radion Jerome absorbed appeared in Brooklyn.

  I don’t know why she created them, but I thank her for bringing them into the light. Since Jerome absorbed her, he would now have the power to create them, though he hasn’t yet for some reason. I suspect the man doesn’t know how to given his inexperience. We’ll force it out of him though. Do not worry.

  If you are a Radius Ability user, stand proud because you are immune to the virus. But while you’re safe from that, her Radius Ability has the potential to be the strongest power I have ever seen these past ten years. Perhaps stronger than mine eventually… if she lives that long.

  Think of it as a form of Mind Manipulation. She tricks your brain into making it think one way when it should be thinking the other way. If that child makes your brain think you’re a dog, then you’ll act like a dog. If it thinks you're a lowly bug, then you'll act like a lowly bug. This must be why she calls it “Mind Trick.”

  Sounds very formidable on paper, but any ability of this nature has to have some limitations, and this one is no different. In order to actually use this power on someone, she forms with her hands what the young people call a “finger gun” and forms a small ball of energy at her fingertips. I assume she does this to channel her aura better. Once this ball is formed, she has to shoot it at the person’s head and land it. The “Mind Trick” doesn't work if she shoots it anywhere else.

  From what I've seen from her training and battles so far, this power seems rather easy to counter. All you really have to do is dodge those energy bullets. Considering the girl only has three chances to land it before she runs low on aura, anyone competent enough should be fine.

  Sunshine realized that though. It's no wonder she evolved her ability to not only affect others, but herself as well. Tricking her mind to think she's a zombie or animal can already present a problem. Things can become deadly if she tricks her mind to think she’s another Radius Ability user.

  In the event she tricks her mind to think she’s either Jerome Hunter or Jason Zoorhees, do not engage.

  You will die.

  Instead, you must run or hide for thirty seconds to a minute. That is the supposed time limit of Mind Trick. However, this might vary depending on how knowledgeable she is of the person she’s turning into. I believe she can’t turn into people she has little knowledge of.

  Additionally, while this has been kept top secret by the Underground Radius, it’s well known within our ranks that the girl’s Mind Trick had somehow reached a global scale, effectively fast forwarding time by a month. When I asked my son to give me the details on what happened, he was unable to tell me.

  In terms of her personality, Sunshine is still a nine year old girl at the end of the day. Na?vete, curiosity, and innocence still fill her mind. It is unlikely that she’ll kill you in a regular encounter.

  Use that to your advantage.

  Contingency Plan Codename Mad Man, Subject Jason Zoorhees: Before I begin with this, I must… first apologize to my fellow survivors. I was supposed to be a leader, a protector for you all, and yet I held a part in letting mad man escape from the Underground City. I specifically say “held a part in” because there was another person who contributed heavily to Jason’s betrayal.

  Dante Williams. My own son turned who was once a loyal and respectable ally into a deadly, murderous man-child who exists to satisfy no one but himself. While I would like to inform you of all of Dante’s various crimes against my organization, that will have to come later. I will use this time to discuss Jason’s abilities.

  For all Resource Adventurers and unpowered survivors, do not ever engage Jason in a fight.

  You will die.

  The only positive thing you’ll get out of encountering that sociopath is a quick death. Jason prefers swift kills. This is a man who is and always was a murderer who enjoys the feeling of killing the weak and the strong. Since he’s been banned from going up to the surface for so long and having to play nice with the Underground civilians, he’s at a point in his life where culling anyone in his path is the only thing he wants to do.

  Luckily for you, Jason can be talked to. And I don’t just mean reasoning or negotiating. As long as you can make him laugh or have a good conversation with him, he’ll spare your life… probably.

  For any Radius Ability users, I also suggest you don’t fight him unless you are in the upper echelons of strength. Even if you are, you should still fear for your safety. If I had to rank the current Underground Radius in terms of pure physical strength, Jason would be number one. There’s a reason he’s usually used for bodyguard and security purposes, you know.

  It’s not just his strength you have to worry about. His Radius Ability matches his very nature perfectly, and it might be the deadliest one I’ve ever seen. There are hundreds of ways someone or something can die in the world, and Jason can use these different ways with just his mouth.

  You still don’t understand? Then let me explain it simply. If he says the word “Decapitation”, your head will be decapitated in that instant. There is no defense that can block it nor is there a way to counter it after he says it.

  You will die.

  I consider it a miracle that I was able to have him on my side for so long. Obviously, that’s changed now. However, hold your head high and don’t be afraid. From what I’ve seen these past couple of years, there appears to be one weakness to Jason’s power.

  The five senses. More specifically, three of the five senses—sight, hearing and smell. If that masked man is unable to see, hear and smell you thirty seconds before he activates his ability, you’ll probably survive. I didn’t say “probably” because I doubt this weakness. I said it because Jason usually prefers to kill with either his hands or trusty machete.

  If there are other weaknesses to his ability, I honestly couldn’t tell you. May God be with whoever is foolish enough to fight that man.

  Contingency Plan Codename Untrustworthy, Subject: Jesus Hernandez: His Radius Ability is unknown. His true strength, speed, and durability are also unknown.

  If you see a man in only his underwear while wearing the head of a horse, do not engage in battle with him.

  Contingency Plan Codename Two-Face, Subject: Dante Williams: I do not have a lot to say about my son. The son who sold people into slavery and extorted innocent survivors under the guise “Loan Shark” behind the Underground Radius’ back—an act that I had nothing to do with might I add. The son who let Type Two Radion known as Jerome Hunter invade our home and destroy priceless pieces of property. The son who also lost to that same Type Two and ruined the sense of safety that the UR worked so hard to give you all. The son who assisted Jason in betraying the UR, and then proceeded Jerome and his daughter multiple times after that. The son who got his own mother kil…

  No, I do not have a lot to say about him.

  Even though I’m fairly confident Dante won’t fully betray the Underground Radius and you innocent survivors, I still have to keep my eyes open. No one from my organization should be safe from these contingency plans, and my son shall be no different.

  If you ever come across that boy and his Radius Ability, you are welcome to engage. You have a 99% chance of living. Dante is weak mentally and physically. All it takes is one little insult towards that ugly, devilish side of his face, and you’ll have him going nuts. When someone goes nuts, their intelligence gets switched out for irrationality.

  Use that to your advantage. You will not die.

  However, I guess there will be those that would want to know what his powers are, so let me explain them for you.

  Forcefields. That’s it. Nothing more and nothing less. They’re tough, sure, but anyone with a decent amount of strength should be able to break it. I’ve seen it happen many times before.

  There is absolutely nothing else you have to worry about when it comes to my son. No tricks, no other powers, no other aspects to his ability or physical body.

  He is a weakling.

  You will not die.

  Conclusion:

  Hold your head high my fellow survivors. There isn’t a single soul on this planet who will put a stop to what we’ve built.

  I promise on the soul of my dead wife… that Jerome and Sunshine will perish.

  We will win and we will rebuild.
