Chapter 16: Revenge Begins

Hearing this, the Sword Saintess's rage gradually subsided.

She regained her composure, returning to her usual cold demeanor.

"You're right. I'm the blade that protects the people. I can't abandon you."

  Her words were resolute.

If she left now, the residents of Bright Town would almost certainly suffer a goblin counterattack.

Besides, she had expended much of her energy using that super-tier sword art—she needed to rest.

Seeing the Saintess choose to stay, Beck breathed a huge sigh of relief.

"Thank God... finally, I can get some sleep."

With that, he collapsed onto the ground.

The battle had been devastating for them.

Initially, they only needed to drive off the dragons and rebuild.

But now, more than a hundred residents had been slaughtered.

Many surviving women had been assaulted by goblins on the spot.

Even the Blade Heroes party had been wiped out.

"Rodel, I've already sent word to the royal family for reinforcements. The rest is up to you. Captured by goblins? I don't have the face to come rescue you."

The Sword Saintess said coldly, then began scouting the area.

She wanted to figure out where the goblins had come from.

Compared to the townspeople, she was more willing to abandon Rodel and his group.

But that didn’t mean she would let the goblins go unpunished.

Once the royal knights arrived, she would personally march into the Corrupted Forest and wipe out every single goblin tribe!

  She would erase today's humiliation.

  …

“Let me go! You disgusting lowlife creatures!”

Rodel’s furious shouts echoed through the forest, but his body was paralyzed by the toxin—he couldn’t move a muscle.

“Captain… what do we do? Will the Sword Saint come save us?”

Eveleya whimpered as she was dragged across the ground like refuse.

Never in her life had she been so humiliated.

Rodel said firmly, "My master will come for us. We just need to hold on and wait for a chance to escape."

And so, they were hauled all the way back to the goblin tribe.

Tian meticulously erased all traces of their path, ensuring nothing was left behind.

“You’re back? And you actually captured two humans?!”

Inside the cage, Leah stared in disbelief—they’d actually succeeded!

Not only had they invaded human territory, but they'd also managed to capture living humans.

Who would have imagined a goblin tribe without a single hero-class member could pull this off?

Rodel continued putting on a brave front.

"Hmph, just a bunch of lowlife goblins. As soon as I recover even a bit of strength, I'll—"

But when he saw the scene inside the tribe, he froze.

  Elves!

This goblin tribe had captured a shocking number of elves!

Even the Blade Heroes wouldn't dare provoke an elf tribe!

"This is bad... there must be a hero-level goblin in this tribe!"

In that instant, Rodel's bravado crumbled.

If there really was a hero-class goblin here, he might not survive long enough for the Sword Saintess to arrive.

A chill ran down his spine as he looked at the caged elves.

His fate would be the same as theirs—trapped here forever, forced to serve the tribe's expansion.

Eveleya’s eyes trembled, bloodshot with terror.

She couldn't even imagine this happening to her—

The narrative has been illicitly obtained; should you discover it on Amazon, report the violation.

  to a holy nun!

“Boss, where are the other goblins? Why only you guys came back?”

  Moon asked, curious.

  Tian sighed.

"You don't know? We ran into a dragon attack—total chaos. Everyone else died in the fight."

Moon let out an 'Oh,' and the second-generation goblins immediately understood.

  “What?!”

Rodel's eyes went wide, cold sweat beading on his forehead!

From Tian's words, he realized—the goblin was lying!

He was just trying to calm his own tribe!

  What the hell!

Just how intelligent was this creature?!

When had such a terrifying goblin tribe appeared in the Corrupted Forest?

But as he observed, he noticed there didn’t seem to be any special variants here.

The boss was probably just that ordinary-looking goblin.

  Unusually clever—and extremely dangerous.

“Eveleya, have you recovered a bit?”

Rodel whispered cautiously as they were dumped beside a rock.

  Eveleya shook her head.

"The toxin is too strong. Even with my holy constitution, it will take time to purge... but I'm almost there."

At that moment, Tian approached, his face twisted into a cold, wicked grin.

“Kekeke… looks like you’re almost recovered?”

Without warning, he bit into Eveleya's arm, injecting more toxin.

  She moaned in pain.

"Shut your mouth, you filthy beast!"

  Rodel roared in fury.

A second-generation goblin immediately rushed over and slapped him hard across the face.

  “Don’t yell at the boss!”

  Humiliated by a goblin!

Rodel clenched his teeth so hard they nearly shattered, but he could only endure.

“Everything’s fine here. Go hunt some food.”

  Tian said calmly.

Then his eyes turned icy as he looked down at the two of them as if they were insects.

That gaze made Rodel's heart pound with fear.

"You're a high-intelligence goblin, right? Haven't you considered the consequences of capturing us? You saw what the Sword Saintess can do, didn't you?"

"Of course I know. The Sword Saintess? She's my prey too—just not yet."

  Tian replied casually.

On the surface, he was calm, but inside, he was already plotting how to deal with these two.

  Two-faced beasts!

  He wouldn't kill them.

After all, back then, they hadn't killed him either.

So he'd repay them a hundredfold.

Hearing Tian call the Sword Saintess "prey," Rodel almost laughed.

"You? The Saintess could wipe you all out with a single swing!"

"Now, I ask—you answer. Say one wrong word, or even one extra, and I can't guarantee which part of you will disappear."

Tian pressed his foot down on Rodel's head.

Rodel trembled with rage, his bloodshot eyes wild, ready to bite.

"Let me ask—didn't you enjoy capturing goblins in secret and torturing them?"

  Tian asked coldly.

  Rodel froze.

  “What?”

  Swish!

In an instant, sharp claws flashed—tearing off Rodel's ear!

Blood sprayed everywhere, splattering Eveleya beside him. She nearly burst into tears from the shock.

"I didn't! You monster! Are you insane?!"

Rodel roared through the pain, but inside, he was trembling.

Only their party had known about that.

  How could a goblin know?!

Had this goblin been watching them all along?

  It was too creepy—impossible!

  Swish!

Before he could react, his other ear was torn off!

"Stop! I admit it! Yes, I did it—but so what? You goblins love torturing humans too! You even eat them!"

  Rodel stammered in terror.

Tian let out a chilling laugh.

"You're right. But I'm a goblin. Goblin rules, goblin madness. Tie his limbs to this rock."

From a human moral standpoint, Tian’s actions were wrong.

But he no longer followed human morals.

  Only goblin morals.

  And goblins had none.

  "Wait—what are you doing?! Stop!"

Rodel's heart pounded wildly with fear!

  Eveleya began to sob uncontrollably.

"Lord... Holy Mother Mary... please send a miracle to save us!"

  Nothing happened.

If miracles were that easy, the world would have already fallen into chaos.

"What is wrong with this goblin? Calling the Sword Saintess prey... this thing is terrifying. He might actually go through with it!"

  Rodel thought, panicking.

  This time, escape seemed impossible.

Tian's gaze shifted to the white-robed nun on the ground.

Back then, he had thought she was a saint.

But it turned out she was the most vile of all.

She had castrated him over and over, healed him with magic, and then done it again!

  A beast among beasts!

"You... what are you going to do?" Eveleya sobbed.

  Eveleya trembled as Tian approached.

  "Oh, right!"

  "Kekeke, a human nun—so beautiful!"

The other goblins cheered and howled with excitement.

  Tian turned back.

"Don't rush. Follow me, and you'll get your reward. Everyone will have a share!"

  "Beast! Don't you dare!"

  Rodel suddenly screamed hysterically!

Veins bulged on his forehead as he roared with all his strength, spittle flying everywhere.

  Tian's lips slowly curled upward.

This was exactly his intention—to make Rodel watch.

Under Rodel's horrified gaze, Tian began his assault on Eveleya. He roughly pinned her to the ground and violated her, subjecting her to unimaginable humiliation and pain.

Rodel shook with rage, then suddenly softened.

"I beg you... spare her. I swear I won't come after you. I can even support you—give you status in the Lionheart Empire!

I swear on the Stanmont family name, before God!"

If he'd offered that at their first meeting, Tian might have believed it.

  But now? No chance.

These two could never be trusted.

So he continued—slowly, bit by bit—making Eveleya suffer pain like never before.

  As much pain as possible.

Anyway, with healing magic, the flesh wounds could easily be healed later.

Her beautiful body wouldn't be ruined.

"Aaahhh! Stop! My body is devoted to the Lord! You filthy thing—don't touch me!"

  Eveleya screamed in agony.

  "Save me, Captain!"

The excruciating pain from below nearly caused her to faint!

  Blood flowed freely.

The more she screamed, the more excited Tian became.

Rodel was on the verge of passing out from rage. He could only close his eyes, unable to bear the sight.

From a distance, Leah and the others watched.

"This Tian... does he have a grudge against humans? The way he's doing this... it's pure revenge."

After spending some time together, Tian had told her his real name.

"I heard the boss say before—he was going to get revenge on humans. It’s probably that."

  Moon replied.

  Cassana snorted.

"Goblins are goblins—evil, filthy. It's in their nature. Except Moon, of course."

"Cassana, dear... I think Tian is different. Yes, we're imprisoned, but aside from the lack of freedom, everything else is... actually quite good."

Leah had been completely won over by Tian.

Especially the feeling he gave her—something no elf ever had.

  She had fallen for him.
