Chapter 6 – Visitors

The Nova household's living room was unusually quiet. Ciel stood in front of his parents and younger brother, his arms crossed, expression serious. Arthur sat relaxed on the sofa, a cup of tea in hand, while Eve looked on with curious eyes. Eren, sprawled on the carpet, glanced up from his book, a hint of suspicion flickering in his eyes.

“I want to show you something,” Ciel said, voice calm yet firm. “My realm.”

Eren perked up immediately. “You have a realm now?”

Before anyone could respond, a faint shimmer surrounded Eren.

  “Wait—what the—?!”

  In an instant, Eren vanished.

Arthur rose to his feet. “Ciel—what did you just do?”

“I transferred him into my realm. It’s part of my skill set now,” Ciel replied coolly, turning toward his father. “Now, let’s try with you.”

The shimmer began again—but this time, it failed to take hold due to wisdom restriction. Arthur blinked, surprised.

“It only works on those who give consent,” Ciel explained with a smirk. “So…?”

Arthur exchanged glances with Eve, then chuckled. “Alright then. I’d like to see where my son’s class has taken him.”

Eve nodded, smiling warmly. “Go on. I’ll join you both.”

With their approval, Ciel extended his hand again. This time, the shimmer completed its cycle, and all three of them vanished from the living room.

The moment they arrived, Arthur and Eve instinctively dropped into a defensive stance, scanning their new surroundings.

They stood on vast rolling plains, vibrant green grass stretching infinitely beneath a clear blue sky. In the center stood a majestic seedling—about thirty-five centimeters tall, glowing faintly with an otherworldly hue. Its roots pulsed with gentle light, and beside it were two bubbling mana wells, their liquid glow softly illuminating the earth around them.

Eren was already near the tree, nose practically pressed to it.

“Bro! Which tree’s sapling is this? It smells amazing and the wood feels so soft!”

“Don’t touch it,” Ciel said quickly. “It’s not a sapling—it’s world tree’s seedling, and it’s the core of my realm.”

Eren’s eyes widened. “This massive thing is a seedling?! What does it do?”

“It increases the mana density of the realm,” Ciel said. “And… it’s just the beginning.”

Arthur stepped forward, arms behind his back, taking in the view. “A personal realm with a seedling that increases mana density… You're something else, son.”

This narrative has been unlawfully taken from Royal Road. If you see it on Amazon, please report it.

Then Arthur clapped his hands together. “Alright. Now that we’re here—how about a little spar like old times? Let’s see what our unique son can do.”

Ciel’s expression shifted. “Only if you hold back. You’re a 5th Awakener. One wrong move and I’m gone.”

Arthur laughed. “Relax. Your mother’s a 4th Awakening healer. She can regrow limbs.”

“Hey!” Eve interjected. “No one’s losing limbs today, got it? Both of you—be careful.”

Ciel extended his hand and formed a mana sword using Mana Craft. The weapon shimmered, edges glowing faintly.

“This won’t be like the old training sessions,” he said, eyes narrowing. “You drilled combat sense into me since i was able to walk. Let me show you what I’ve got.”

Arthur unsheathed his own blade with a grin. “I’m ready when you are.”

Ciel made the first move, activating Domain—an invisible pressure filled the space around them. He dashed forward with his mana sword, clashing against Arthur’s steel. Arthur blocked smoothly.

  “Nice skill,” he commented.

Ciel pulled back, then rushed again. Their blades met in quick succession, Arthur deflecting each strike with the calm of a seasoned warrior. But then he shifted his stance.

  “My turn.”

Arthur retaliated, moving faster now. Ciel dodged narrowly, parrying when he could, retreating when he couldn’t. Then, as Arthur's blade came in from the left, Ciel vanished.

He reappeared behind Arthur—Realm Shift—and swung.

Arthur barely managed to twist his blade to intercept. “Blink? That’s a mage's skill!”

  “Not exactly,” Ciel said, smiling.

Arthur's eyes gleamed. “Alright, let’s turn it up a notch.”

Ciel thought it was time for the trump card he was saving—he activated King of Realm. A surge of energy coursed through his limbs, his movements speeding up dramatically. He darted forward, sword humming, his strikes coming faster than before.

Arthur’s grin faltered for a moment before he subconsciously activated sword aura, his blade gleaming with power.

  They clashed.

Mana cracked through the air—Ciel’s sword shattered.

The young Realm Holder stumbled back, panting, a thin cut on his cheek.

Ciel took a step back, staring at the broken remnants of his mana-crafted blade. “Hey! That’s cheating!” he said, half-laughing, half-exasperated.

Eve placed her hand gently on Ciel’s shoulder. A warm, soothing light wrapped around him, the fatigue and soreness from the spar fading in waves. Cuts sealed, bruises vanished, and even his mana began to settle.

“You really overdid it,” Eve said softly, her tone a mix of concern and disbelief.

“I didn’t expect him to use sword aura,” Ciel muttered, half-joking as he rubbed his side.

Arthur scratched the back of his head, looking genuinely apologetic. “I didn’t mean to. I was just… shocked by your power. My instincts kicked in—I used it without thinking.”

Ciel gave him a deadpan look. “That’s cheating, you know.”

Arthur chuckled. “Sorry about that. But really… what was that power?”

Ciel exhaled and sat up straighter. “It’s my talent. Inside my realm, I can multiply all my stats five times.”

Arthur blinked. Eve’s healing spell faltered slightly as she processed his words.

  “Five times?” she repeated, stunned.

Ciel nodded. “Only within the realm. I can’t use it outside.”

Arthur and Eve exchanged a glance, eyes wide.

“That’s not normal,” Arthur said flatly.

“Not even close,” Eve added. “Ciel… talents are rare. Most people never awaken one. And you—your realm, your class, this talent… it’s all too absurd.”

Ciel looked between the two of them, then at the ever-present glow of the World Tree. “Yeah,” he said quietly. “I know.”

“But it’s real,” Eve said, as if still trying to convince herself. “The World Tree, the mana density, the way everything here responds to you—this isn’t just a class. It’s something else entirely.”

Arthur nodded slowly, arms crossed. “A realm that amplifies your power, skills that warp space, and that tree… This isn’t the kind of thing that shows up in history books.”

“And you’re only at your first awakening,” Eve murmured. “What will this become in the future?”

Ciel didn’t answer. He simply looked toward the horizon of his realm—ever-shifting, ever-growing—and let the silence speak for itself.

Arthur’s gaze lingered on him for a long moment before he spoke again, voice quiet and heavy with meaning.

“Just what kind of monster are you going to grow into?”
