Hello everyone! Hard to believe it's been a whole year since I started putting Soulweaver up on RoyalRoad, and the time for publishing has finally come.
This is the first eBook I have ever self-published without the aid of a publisher, and while the audiobook is published through Royal Guard, I funded the audiobook (narrated by the amazing Christian J. Gilliland!) and advertising. All this to say - this is a very nerve-wracking day for me. Don't think I've been this worried for a launch... ever.
Which is why your assistance means a lot more this time around. Writing is my full-time job, and so if the series doesn't get proper traction on Amazon, it'll make my life a lot harder in the months and years to come. Really praying for a win here. If you've derived any pleasure at all from reading this story, please consider helping.
So how can you help?
Purchasing a copy is, of course, always appreciated, but ratings and reviews are the lifeblood of a story's success on amazon. With enough of them, the algorithm will actively promote the book on my behalf. If you have a RR review, all you need to do is copy/paste it over. (And maybe also hit goodreads too if you feel like it!)
If you discover this narrative on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen. Please report the violation.
Re: Ratings, Amazon will make you think you need to write a review, but that's incorrect. Just rate it and submit and it should take the rating. No purchase necessary! ;-)
If you have Kindle Unlimited, simply downloading the copy counts as a purchase.
Lastly, consider dropping a vote / commenting on the reddit threads!
A note about the paperbacks & hardcovers - I've priced them such that I make $0 from their sales. They're really just there for fans who want a copy on their bookshelves. The eBook and audiobook are where I make my money.
While I will complete Soulweaver regardless of performance, I have a lot of incredibly exciting content & additions planned, should Soulweaver do well enough to justify more books. So let's get it there!
