Ken is now suspected by the officers investigating the incident happened in the subway station. On the other hand, Ken now comes to the old abundant research laboratory in search of Rey for the final thing to check. But they didn’t know that who is about to meet them.
The old abundant building, Ranford research laboratory is standing even after the tragedy happened in 7 years back. The building is completely abundant, giving a ghostly vibes. The sun is setting and this also makes a horror environment. Ken and Miona were standing in front of the old building, ken hesitates to enter but he doesn’t have any option, so he enters inside the old abundant building. The cracked walls and broken windows with a dim of light make the building into a haunted. Ken walks in with Miona behind him, they both walks in the corridor.
Ken is showing brave but from inside, he is completely scared. The sound of cracking of floor and crows and ravens which are shouting outside makes Ken so terrified that he can’t even move. The voice inside his head says, “If you are abrading this much then how you could find Rey. Control your fear.” Ken understands and goes inside. They start checking the entire place, Miona uses her plants and Ken uses his super enhanced senses. Suddenly, Ken heard that something is crawling under the ground and got so terrified that he curls himself. But Miona punches him as the crawling thing is her plants. They were investigating the location.
Ken starts thinking, "Why the hell I come to this place just for searching things!"
The voice inside Ken's head tells him, "Control your fear kid, the fear is just a survival instincts created to counter the dangers which the humans don't know. Just try not to flinch in the tough condition or the hidden enemy got an opening"
Ken tells the voice with a scared tone, "Your things are easy to say but hard to accept for me. Well, it is also my mistake as I should come to this place at morning."
On the other hand, Chief Max takes the report from forensic department where they tell Chief Max that the arm which he gave to them doesn’t have a fixed determined DNA sample; there is no mutation data even closest to DNA of that arm. Chief Max thinks again and after reading the report, he asks, “If the arm’s DNA similar to someone else’s DNA?” The officer tells him, “No, we have matched the DNA of the arm to every HEPE ever created. HEX foundation is now fixing their mistakes.” After knowing there is nothing new from the report, Chief Max returns and meet Officer Leo. Officer Leo asks, “What’s new.” Chief Max replies, “Nothing special, there is no match. I think it could give us some lead but not at all.” Then Officer Leo asks, “Did they match to the suspects of the case? I think not.” Chief Max looks at him and realizes that the forensic experts did match to every HEPE but not to the prime suspect of this case.
Ken and Miona were checking the old abundant building and they didn’t find anything. The sun had set down and the night has risen. The building becomes a horror ground and there is Ken who even scared from every movement. Then there is a shrill sound echoes in the air, the sound of a blade rubbing to the walls of building. Miona actives and uses her plant to locate the enemy while the other hand. Ken was so scared that he fall on the ground and suddenly the ground below him breaks down. Ken fall into basement below the building. Ken doesn’t know about the basement but he knows that this isn’t good as Miona is alone there. He tries to go up but suddenly he senses something. On the ground, Miona saw somebody with bulky body and spider limbs. Miona uses her plants but he dodge them and give a solid blow to her. She fall down but handle herself and stand up. Then the HEPE who was fighting with her grabs her plants spread on the flood and pulls them out. The plants also break down. She heals herself and attacks the HEPE. The HEPE grabs her and in the moonlight, she finally saw his face and it was like a spider. The spider like HEPE tells her, “So you are the one whom I need to eat. Let me introduce myself, I’m HEPE 135, Spidos”

Spidos uses his power. Miona tries her best to dodge his attacks. The destructive power of Spidos attack is very much that even Miona is unable to hit him. She tries to attack him with her plant but the attack wasn’t useful. Spidos punches the ceiling and the ceiling breaks down and falls on her but Miona survived by using her plants. Miona takes out her root tentacles and attack with them but the beast doesn’t even seem to be feeling the impact. The body of Spidos is cover with a thick armor of chitin. The armor is so strong that Miona is unable to even damage him a bit but she knows that it isn’t so hard. She uses her plant cage but Spidos break it down. Miona converts her arms into thick dense tree trunk and uses tree prison but Spidos have so much power that he easily resist and destroy tree prison and break it down. Miona understands that it is useless to fight a monster like him so she tries to hide herself behind the trees and she plants so many trees near the building.
As the area have some trees and she planted some more, the area convert into a small forest and she easily hide in it. Spidos tries to find her but she used tree hiding and uses her roots to heal herself. Spidos understands that he can’t find her so he uprooted a tree and use it to destroy the whole forest. The attack also hit her and she fall apart. She knows that there is nothing she can do.
On the other hand, under the ground in the basement, Ken finds some spooky presence. His first reaction was a ghost but then his senses actives and he realize that the thing is flying so he focusses the movement and notice that it is about to come to attack at him. The HEPE attacks at Ken and it was too fast that Ken hardly dodges the attack. The speed of this HEPE is extremely high so much that Ken’s cheek got cut. Ken uses his power of regeneration and focus on the fight. The HEPE says, “You are the first one who dodges this attack. I’m HEPE 133, Mantis”
Mantis uses his wings to move fast and his arms have sharp blades with which he can cut even bones. Ken uses his arm blade but Mantis easily cut it and about to cut Ken into half. Mantis uses his wings and hovers so fast that Ken can’t see him due to darkness and his motion but he has enhanced senses so he uses his arm blade at a right point when Mantis was closest to him and cut his shoulder. The damage wasn’t severe but Mantis understands that Kenos a not an easy bait. He uses his mantis like legs and wings; he jumps and reaches a very high speed. Ken can’t see him and he cuts Ken.
