Chapter 1: First Contact
It was a night like any other, light monsoon breeze was washing over the trees, shrubs and concrete buildings that we humans are used to calling our homes.
This particular night, a wild rodent had the great idea of wandering inside an electric grid hub, causing an unexpected blackout in the entire town of our two protagonists Abira and Zehan. In this tropical summer heat, they couldn't stay asleep for long and both went to stand on their shared balcony, making small talk about what wacky reason the power went out for this time around.
The silver-lining of this entire incident was that only a small wild rodent was harmed and an entire town got to experience the joy of star-gazing which a very rare phenomenon due the continuous light and air pollution nowadays. While talking about how both siblings day went, they shared the info about an entity talking to them in their dreams. Both siblings were sceptical of the promises given by the entity but decided against taking any major steps since they cannot even make out their name, with the bogus reason of not having enough mental and intellectual capacity to converse with them as equals, the entity just wams them of an impending doom that will test their morality and that it will forever change their life if succeed in that final test.
This was according to Abira’s point-of-view as each indivivdual is promised something else, while being shown and tested for something else. As the siblings were busy counting the windows that had lights on in the neighbourhood, a noise came tearing through the clouds, it looked like a shooting star heading towars earth but it ended up burning up in the upper atmospheres as the small ones tend to do.
As soon as the power grid got fixed, the entire neighbourhood went inside to get some rest for the upcoming work-day, the dreaded Monday morning.
The meteroites, one huge and one medium in radius, where attracted to the strong desires of Abira and Rehan. These meteorites are able to communicate with other exotic and normal meteorites to know the composition and thickness of the planet before skyfall is initited. To know if they will survive the planets atmosphere and reach their hosts.

Inside one of Abira’s Dreams
Abira jolts awake and takes in the surrounding environment,
“Not this place again!!” Abira shouts at the familiar school corridor. What weird scenario has that entity cooked up for me now.
Abira recalls her first contact with this familiar school cooridor and unnamed entity that converses in her dreams. It was like waking up in school with your lunchbox, backpack and school uniform after just eating dinner and falling on your favourite pillow. Anyone would be spooked, they just had dinner with family and without getting a wink they gotta do-over their school day all over again.
After walking forward in the corridor, Abira looks at the neon-green painted exit sign, for longer then she ever did, “Huh?, the I is slightly bigger then the rest of the letters, weird!” saying this she makes her way out of the school main dioor which is made of glass and aluminium doorframe popular nowadays since its cheaper and easily replaced, but the glasss is tempered to sustain heavy impacts.
Outside the school, she roams around the neighbourhood taking the surround beauty and taking notes of what is different then the her actual neighbourhood, in the middle of doing this a voice echoes in her mind, “Satisfied with my rendition of your actual town?”. Abira was stunned by the word town more than the voice inside her head talking to her.
“What do you want from me?, what even are you?”, she directs these questions at the unnamed voice. The voice starts answering her questions, first with her name, Ophelia is their name but when asked who created them it comes outs as [Redacted], like someone is actively removing their existence from reality to stay hidden.
Ophelia explains that they and other meteorites were created to grant wishes of beings with strong desire like love, fear, guilt, etc to name a few. Unfortunately, Abira’s strong desire is her fear of tests and thats why she is stuck in this looping dream of school corridors with her backpack full of notes, and utensils to take the test.
She asks what kinda tests these will be and Ophelia ponders on the right way to answer this question, Ophelia explains that due to Abira and Zehan’s close sibling bonds there tests are kinda interwined with one another.
Abira feels a sweat run across her rugged face, in her mind as she is chanting,” Please nothing to do with that stupid tv show my brother watches”, Ophelia responds “Yes, unfortunately you have to pass test based on the lore of the tv show neb 10 ”. Abira faces turnes pale with anxiety as she will have consult her brother of everyone to pass this test.
When asked about information regarding her brothers she says he has pass his current academic test in his dream to gain access to next stage of morality test then Ophelia she says that if pass Abira passes that test she will gain powers to figth her fears and help others overcome their fears. Abira is mildly motivated as she only has to break the loop inside her dreams right?
Inside one of Zehan’s Dreams
Zehan’s dreams where different from her sister’s as his where inside their own home unable to leave the premises of his home until he gets an average of A out of four essays on various topics, some times those topics involved his favourite tv show (neb 10) which gave him enough motivation to atleast get a passing grade in the essays. These essays will all be around early high school level the grade Zehan is currently studying at his school.
The promise of getting to be like his favourite superhero by Zelus the meteorite that is attracted to Zehan’s strong admiration towards neb 10.
The essays are 500 words and 90 mintutes each are provided to complete them at the start of the level but the word count and the time needed to complete them increases as Zehan starts to get a better average. The first time he wrote those essays his arms cranked up as he wasn’t used to siting and writing for so long after the recent pandemic lockdown. Zelus did offer him the option of writing them digitally but Zehan refused the kind offer saying he will do those digitally when he is done fighting the side-bosses, a quote that left Zelus confused and in deep thought.
