WALKING DOWN THE LONG CORRIDOR THAT LED TO HIS PRIVATE CHAMBER on the top deck-level of ‘the Decimator’ Astro-Battle Cruiser was Lord-Emperor Ventrix Vexas.
Dressed in his dark, hooded robe, the power-mad intergalactic dictator trudged down the long hall with furious intent in his stride.
Approaching the entrance to his Private Chamber, Ventrix stood for a brief moment as its impenametal doors split and pulled apart.
The Lord-Emperor then entered his Private Chamber as its doors slid shut and automatically locked themselves a half-milli-cycle later.
Once he was inside, Ventrix flung off his hooded robe to reveal the skin-tight, ‘spandex-like’ black bodysuit that he was wearing.
Covering his chest and abdominal regions were bright, blood red armored plates that had the red and black ‘V’ crest sigil (which stood for the Vexan Empire) pressed in the center of the breast plate
The bodysuit also covered his hands, which were overshadowed by blood red impenametal vambraces.
As for his feet, Ventrix wore tight black, leather-like boots with blood red impenametal shin and calf guards attached to them.
The vicious Lord-Emperor kept a hardened look on his slimy, pale green-skinned face as he then walked over to a large black ‘wardrobe’, which was located near his massive ‘floating’ bed.
Pulling off his right glove, Ventrix placed his four fingered hand over a circular panel, which was positioned at the center of the wardrobe’s front.
He then waited as a red wave of light ran up and down his bare palm.
Scanning Ventrix’s fingerprints (and D.N.A.), the circular panel started pulsating red light.
The wardrobe’s front then dematerialized into ‘digitized dust’ as what was locked within it finally revealed itself.
Placed on a black, limbless mannequin was the horned battle helm and battle armor set of the previous Vexan Lord-Emperor and Ventrix’s Father: VALIDAX VEXAS.
The armor consisted of a red and black battle worn breastplate, battle worn bracers, shin guards, a red and black tattered cape, and a red and black battle helm that had two blood red horns protruding from the temples a large Vexan ‘V’ crest sigil grafted to its front.
The armor and helm was something that Ventrix had stared at several times since his father’s unfortunate demise… MURDER, but the TRUE PRIZE was Validax’s personal weapon of choice: THE PULSAR LANCER.
Hovering over a circular red platform beneath Validax’s breast plate was a twelve-inch-long, ‘cylinder-shaped’ black impenametal object.
Clutching onto the object with his right hand, Ventrix picked it up from over the circular red platform.
Holding it off to the side after briefly examining it, Ventrix tightened his grip on the mysterious object slightly.
KA-SHING!
A split milli-cycle later TWO, THREE-FOOT-LONG slightly glowing red Pulsar Blades emerged from both ends of the cylinder.
Ventrix snickered briefly as he twirled the deadly weapon in his right hand, which closely resembled his own, newer class model.
Then, after several hacking and slashing motions, Ventrix spun the Pulsar Lancer all around his body, making him look like a ‘deadly cyclone’.
Since his youth, the current Vexan Lord-Emperor had been trained with EVERY SINGLE FORM of Pulsar Weapon that existed throughout the Known Twenty-Four Galactic Sectors, making him the perfect VEXAN warrior.
After spinning the Pulsar Lancer around a few times, Ventrix held it out before himself in a sideways position and tightened his grip once more.
The two Pulsar blades then retracted back inside of the cylinder, allowing Ventrix to place the Pulsar Lancer back down over the circular red platform beneath his father’s armor set.
A ‘beeping noise’ then sounded off from a holo-communication device, which was attached to the Lord-Emperor’s right forearm vambrace.
Typing on the holo-comm’s holo-keypad, Ventrix kept an emotionless expression on his face as a holographic environment exploded from the device’s holo-screen.
In milli-cycles, Vexan Lord-Emperor’s Private Chamber had holographically transformed into a dark… DESOLATE ‘rocky terrain’ which was located somewhere outside of the Known Twenty-Four Galactic Sectors in the lawless and highly dangerous… UNKNOWN GALACTIC SECTORS.
“GRANDEST GREETINGS, VENTRIXXXXX,” hissed a dark, hooded figure, who sat upon a jagged rock formation in the shape of a ‘throne’ on the desolate lands of the planetoid known as… SEKTORA.
“OBRRON,” Ventrix gritted bitterly as he looked up at the dark, hooded figure.
The dark, hooded figure then threw back his hood to show off his wrinkly… AND SLIMY pale green-skinned face.
“Tis been sometime… VENTRIX,” Obrron sneered after revealing himself to be the infamous, ‘thought to be long dead’ Vexan Sorcerer.
_
Many cycles ago, when Lord-Emperor Validax Vexas was still in power (and alive), Obrron had been appointed to him as his ‘Arch-Sorcerer’.
The old mystic aided Validax in such things as the harnessing of ‘dark energy’ and other ‘sinister wonders’ to win many battles during his reign as the FIRST Vexan Lord-Emperor.
In fact, it was Obrron who firstly informed Validax of the history of the Pyramid of Power… Its TRUE history.
Sparking Validax’s interest grandly, the dastardly evil Royal Head of the Vexan Empire sought out across the Known Twenty-Four in search of the ‘Unlimited Power Source’ after the High-Elders had ‘wrongfully’ stripped it from his people due to another world needing its endless wonders.
All the while Obrron remained on planet Vexas… Keeping a watchful eye over Validax’s adolescent sons whilst also having no choice but to watch the Vexan People swiftly decay, wither… AND DIE from the catastrophic effects of the Pyramid’s absence.
(Note: The Vexan race and their world failed due to their over-reliance on the Pyramid’s Power. The High-Elders only bestowed the Pyramid upon struggling races to revitalize themselves and their world. NOT to use forever and lean upon as a crutch.)
After the Lord- Emperor’s demise at the hands of the Lord-King Luxor and the first generation of Guardian Warriors ten cycles prior, Obrron was primarily blamed for leading Validax on his ‘self-destructive journey’ whilst he quested to reclaim the Unlimited Power Source.
In order to escape his execution, which would have been dealt out by the Vexan Empire’s crumbling High Society Order, the old Sorcerer fled his home world… And journeyed FAR into the deepest and darkest unventured regions of the Unknown Galactic Sectors.
There… He discovered SEKTORA, a planetoid that seemed to have a ‘mind’ of its own.
Striking a bond with the ‘living force’ that thrived deep within SEKTORA the only he could be connected with, Obrron established and created a livable ecosystem on the asteroid-world with the aid of his mystical powers.
An ecosystem that was suitable enough for a Vexan to live and thrive upon.
Two cycles ago, when the Brothers Vexas took their rightful places as the four wicked royal heads of the vastly diminished, but still very powerful Vexan Empire, they embarked on a BLOOD-SOAKED campaign of DEATH and DECIMATION all across the Known Twenty-Four in search of the Pyramid… AND TO AVENGE THEIR FATHER’S MURDER.
All the while Obrron had telepathically reached out to Ventrix… And began conspiring with him via Hologram on SEKTORA… IN SECRET.
In their ‘secret conversations and meetings’ with one another, Obrron and Ventrix had devised a plan… A SINISTER PLAN… For they both had ‘ulterior motives’ when it came to the control and usage of the Pyramid of Power.

“GRAND PERFORMANCE on your SUCCESSFUL invasion… AND DECIMATION of planet Guardinas, Ventrix,” Obrron commended. “I shall have you know that ‘THE MASTER’ is pleased with your kin’s righteous work.”
Glaring up at the ancient mystic angrily, The Lord-Emperor demanded, “Why have you summoned me to this wretched landscape, Obrron?”
“Heh, heh, heh… Oh, Ventrix. Tis VERY unwise to speak so negatively of another’s dwellings… BUT CARE, YOU DO NOT???”
“What do you thracking think?”
“Heh, heh… You are much like your father, Ventrix… SO VERY MUCH LIKE HIM. Out of all your brothers, you act like the Master the most. In appearance… AND IN ACTIONS. HEH, HEH, HEH…”
“Why have you summoned me here, Sorcerer?!” the Lord-Emperor angrily demanded.
Obrron, surprisingly, did not reply.
“ART THOU DEAF?!” Ventrix continued to spout. “I asked you a thracking question, you old kroone! ANSWER ME!!!”
“I sense… A DISTURBANCE, Young Lord,” Obrron revealed, with his smirk now faded.
“A disturbance? What thracking ‘disturbance’, Obrron?”
“I have foreseen the makings of a ‘possible’ future… A possible future not just for you alone, Ventrix… BUT FOR EVERYONE AND EVERYTHING THAT YOU HOLD MOST DEAR.”
“What have you seen?” Ventrix asked in growing concern.
“Wouldn’t you like to know?” Obrron smirked.
“AS THE LEAD RULING AND DECIDING HEAD OF THE ETERNALLY GRAND AND FOREVER GLORIOUS VEXAN EMPIRE, I, LORD-EMPEROR VENTRIX VEXAS, ORDER YOU TO TELL ME WHAT YOU HAVE FORESEEN!!!”
“Heh, heh, heh… You think you hold ‘titles’ here? POWER???” Obrron asked between numerous snickers. “You do not… FOR THIS IS THE MASTER’S WORLD…. HIS KINGDOM!!!”
Narrowing his eyes, Ventrix grunted, “Urgh… Fine. If you do not wish to tell me what you know then I shall be forced to be on my way, Sorcerer.”
“Look up, Young Lord,” Obrron instructed as he pointed up at the INFINITE amount of stars that were scattered all across the galactic cosmos overhead. “Do you see that star? The brightest one???”
Squinting his eyes whilst looking upwards, Ventrix caught sight of the ‘brightest star’ that Obrron was pointing at.
“What is it?” Lord-Emperor Vexas curiously asked.
“The world known as ‘Aeshlara’,” Obrron answered. “Tis located in the…”
“SAAUDA GALACTIC SECTOR,” Ventrix answered, causing Obrron to look down upon.
Looking directly at the old Vexan Sorcerer again, the Lord-Emperor venomously stated, “Tis goes by another name…”
“EARTH,” Obrron replied whilst smirking slightly. “Tis where the Pyramid of Power currently resides… BUT YOU ALREADY KNOW THIS.”
“TWO of the now very few remaining Guardinians reside there as well.”
“Yes… The Guardinian Lady-Princess Ashanna Pronos… And Dexius Solas…”
“THE LAST GUARDIAN,” Ventrix snarled. “Urgh… You can blame the IGNORANT THRACK Drellix for that ‘mishap’.”
“A mishap that could quite possibly bring about the downfall of your WHOLE Empire,” Obrron shockingly revealed… Causing all four of Ventrix’s eyes to widen.
“BLASPHEMY!!! Such a cursed thracking thing cannot and SHALL NOT happen!”
“Tis what you believe, Ventrix… But this ‘Dexius Solas’ has the six other remaining Guardian Energy Shifters in his possession… ALONG WITH THE UNLIMITED POWER SOURCE.”
Ventrix’s dual-brows lowered once more as Obrron continued, “Now, Young Lord… What do you have to say about those TWO mishaps???”
“I already have it under control… OLD SKOGGER. RIGHT NOW, as we both speak upon this stretch of cursed DEAD rock, my Personal Astro-Battle Cruiser… THE DECIMATOR and its crew are in pursuit of the Last Guardian and the Princess of Guardinas, who both escaped during the Invasion… AND DECIMATION of the Guardinian home world. Once we enter the Aeshlaran… EARTH’S home galactic sector then we shall…”
“Begin yet another invasion,” Oberon asked, cutting off Ventrix from finishing his previous sentence. “Sparking yet another war with a seemingly ‘peaceful’ race?”
“Just whose side are you on, Obrron???”
“Why, Ventrix, I am on the Lord-Emperor’s side, of course…. The TRUE Lord-Emperor. Heh, heh, heh…”
Narrowing his eyes again, Ventrix sourly replied, “Amusing, Sorcerer… BUT MY FATHER’S REIGN IS OVER. The time of my rule… MY REIGN is only just beginning.”
“Tis what you believe, Ventrix… AND WHAT YOU BELIEVE ALONE. You know as well as I do that if you and your brothers reclaim the Pyramid then…”
“WHEN. When we reclaim it,” Ventrix angrily corrected.
“IF you and your brothers reclaim the Pyramid,” Obrron rudely continued, angering the current Lord-Emperor even more so in the process. “Then I shall use its mysterious and wondrous powers to reunite the ‘vessel and life-force’ of your father… THE TRUE VEXAN LORD-EMPEROR. And once I have achieved this truly grand act then Lord-Emperor Validax Vexas’s RULE and REIGN shall be anew… STRONGER AND MORE POWERFUL THAN EVER BEFORE.”
The current Vexan Lord-Emperor now stood bitterly silent as the old mystic continued, “You shall go to Earth, Ventrix. I cannot stop you from doing the inevitable… BUT I CAN prolong it to ensure the survival of the Empire… AND OF OUR PEOPLE.”
“Prolong??? HOW?” Ventrix curiously demanded.”
“I… suggest that before you and the Vexan Astro-Naval Fleet Armada embark on a Quantum Warp Jump to the Saauda Galactic Sector that you should send a ‘scout’ to Earth FIRST. A ‘living’ scout preferably.”
“You want me to hold off the Invasion of Earth?”
“Tis would be the wisest thing for you to do, Young Lord.”
“These Aeshlarans… HUMANS are NOTHING,” Ventrix went onto sternly state. “Sure, we may not know much of them… YET, but I do know that they are not like the Guardinians. The Guardinians were a race of BORN-BRED WARRIORS and my brothers and our armies DESTROYED them all before the night-cycle! These humans cannot simply compare to them! They are nothing, I say… THRACKING NOTHING!!!”
“Oh, Ventrix… Always so swift to make judgements and conclusions,” Obrron stated whilst shaking his head from side to side.
Narrowing his eyes in suspicion, the Lord-Emperor asked, “WHAT HAVE YOU FORESEEN, SORCERER?”
“Heh, heh, heh… Just heed my instruction, Ventrix. Send a Living Scout to Earth before you and your forces jump to the Saauda Galactic Sector.”
“BUT WHY??? Why must we do this, Obrron? TELL ME WHY!!!”
“Because… BOY, you mustn’t underestimate your ‘potential’ enemy. No matter how ‘weak’ or ‘feeble’ they may seem, you must NEVER underestimate what you do not know… OR UNDERSTAND.”
Ventrix now glared and gritted his teeth at Obrron again whilst the old mystic continued, “For, if you do… EVEN FOR A MILLI-CYCLE then it can and SHALL lead to the downfall of you, everyone, and EVERYTHING that you know.”
