Chapter: - 12: Supreme Body

As we all tightened our grips around our weapons and settled into our stances, the atmosphere around us thickened with the weight of an unavoidable clash. Before any of us could speak or take another breath, Anshvi and the Grandmaster warrior beside her vanished from the ground in opposing streaks of purple and green light, shooting upward with such explosive velocity that the air cracked in their wake.

High above us, they came to a halt, suspended in mid-air, staring at one another with eyes that reflected nothing but lethal resolve, each releasing a killing intent so dense that even the air between them seemed to retreat. A cold current drifted through the battlefield, brushing past Anshvi from behind, lifting her long purple hair until it floated around her like silken flames, amplifying the already overwhelming aura she emitted.

Neither of them exchanged words or warnings. The moment their gazes locked, the tension snapped, and both launched at each other at blinding speed. But even in that explosive start, it became clear to anyone watching that Anshvi’s speed in the air far surpassed that of most cultivators at the same stage. Her movements were sharp, precise, and unpredictable, and she shifted positions so quickly that she seemed to flicker from one place to another. In a blink, she disappeared from in front of the Grandmaster and reappeared behind him. Before he could react, she twisted her body and delivered a powerful side kick directly into his back.

“Too slow,” she whispered, her voice calm but cutting through the thunderous boom created by the impact.

The Grandmaster warrior hurtled several hundred meters away, spiraling through the sky like a broken meteor before regaining control. His expression twisted with disbelief as he steadied himself, green aura swirling violently around him. “Are you a beast or a woman?” he growled, clearly shaken and furious.

Anshvi only smirked, her eyes glinting with a cruel amusement as she darted toward him again in a violet blur. The Grandmaster warrior roared and unleashed his full power in an attempt to meet her head-on. Their collision shook the sky once more, sending waves of pressure rolling down to the ground like an approaching storm.

Below the airborne battle, Eklavya stood upon shattered earth, facing two Master-level warriors and one severely injured practitioner warrior. The shockwaves created by Anshvi and the Grandmaster’s clash made the ground quiver beneath his feet. Even the colour of the sky shifted—dark clouds gathering as if summoned by the intensity of the battle above, while the distant echo of thunder rolled across the forest.

Eklavya had already borrowed soul power from his token, and he could sense that the disturbances in the atmosphere would soon alert the disciples of the Falling Leaf Sect. Time was slipping away from him, and every moment spent on this battlefield posed an increasing risk. He had to finish this fight as swiftly as possible.

The injured practitioner warrior, despite his condition, lunged toward Eklavya with desperation fueling his speed. His fist glowed with concentrated ki as he thrust it forward with the intent to shatter Eklavya’s chest. The blow connected directly, but instead of crushing bones or rupturing organs, the attacker felt only the faint sensation of brushing against something immovable. His eyes widened in confusion and horror.

“This punch… it was enough to kill a nine-star practitioner,” he muttered, his voice trembling, “so how did nothing happen to a mere one-star practitioner?” He slowly looked up and saw Eklavya staring calmly at him, a faint smirk tugging at his lips.

Eklavya lifted his hand, and five chakra formations formed around his hand in a radiant golden glow. “Let me return the favor,” he said before thrusting his fist forward. The force behind the punch erupted like a golden shockwave, sending the practitioner flying through the air and crashing into three consecutive trees, splitting them apart as though they were made of paper. The man’s body went limp before he even hit the ground. One strike and one death.

The two Master-level warriors wasted no time. With their swords drawn and killing intent surging, they charged at Eklavya from two angles, their feet smashing into the ground with enough force to shatter stone.

Eklavya inhaled deeply, focusing on his bones as ancient golden incantations surfaced on his skin, stretching from his legs to his face like sacred markings carved by divine hands. Five chakras ignited on each hand, humming with overwhelming energy. It was the unmistakable manifestation of the Supreme Body, a legendary physique that only the rarest individuals were born with. Yet Eklavya had obtained it through the ancient, long-lost Ten Chakra Technique, a method believed to have disappeared from the world ages ago.

The three-star Master warrior aimed a clean strike at Eklavya’s neck, but Eklavya caught the blade with his bare hand, the sharp steel unable to pierce even a fraction of his skin. The second warrior attempted to slash him from the opposite direction, but Eklavya raised his other hand and grabbed the sword mid-swing, tightening his grip around it until the metal screeched.

Ordinary weapons had no effect on a Supreme Body at the Heavenly Rune Formation Realm. They were like twigs striking a diamond mountain.

With a powerful twist of his arms, he hurled both men toward a massive tree. Their bodies slammed against the thick trunk with enough force to split the bark and send leaves raining down. They groaned, clearly stunned, but managed to stand up again despite the pain coursing through them.

They rushed at him once more, coordinating their movements, attacking from opposite sides to overwhelm him. Their swords clashed repeatedly against Eklavya’s hands, sparks flying with each strike as they attempted to break through his defense. But their efforts were futile; Eklavya pushed them back with raw strength, causing both to stumble across the ground as their footing nearly slipped.

Borrowing soul power from the token had elevated Eklavya’s strength enough to confront a fifth-tier Master warrior without difficulty. These two were nowhere near that level.

Realizing brute force was ineffective, the Master warriors quickly formed a series of hand seals, synchronizing their movements perfectly. A massive formation materialized between them, glowing with intertwined symbols. As they channeled their energy into it, a gigantic yellow palm began to emerge from the vertical formation, growing larger and brighter with each passing second.

Both warriors smirked. “Great Palm Seal!”

The colossal palm burst forward, tearing through the air with violent momentum as it hurtled toward Eklavya. However, rather than showing any sign of fear, Eklavya only tilted his head slightly and smirked.

“Let’s see whether your seal can surpass my Ten Chakra Shield.”

He formed three rapid hand seals, and multiple chakra rings burst out from his hands, merging two by two in midair before forming a shimmering five-layer barrier, each shield floating one below another like descending golden platforms.

The Great Palm Seal slammed into the outermost layer, but the shield did not even flicker. Eklavya stood calmly behind it. “Too weak,” he said, his tone icy, “it can’t even scratch my first layer.”

The warriors, who had been smirking just moments before, felt their confidence crumble as terror flooded their eyes. Without another thought, they rose into the air and thrust themselves toward Eklavya at full speed.

Eklavya grabbed his sword, leapt forward, and intercepted both of their blades simultaneously. With one powerful push, he sent them flying backward through the air, separating them effortlessly. He then shot upward, his body propelled by explosive ki, and reached the one-star Master warrior before he could regain balance. Eklavya’s sword pierced straight through the man’s heart, ending his life instantly.

But as the body began to fall, so did Eklavya.

Above them, Anshvi’s battle had already reached its climax. Her speed and monstrous strength gave her a decisive advantage over the Grandmaster warriors. Blow after blow, she overwhelmed him until his body could no longer maintain its form. With a final devastating strike, she disintegrated him completely, reducing him to dust carried away by the wind.

As the last remnants of the Grandmaster faded, Anshvi glanced downward and saw Eklavya losing stability in midair after killing the Master warrior. Her body moved before her thoughts did—she flickered from her position and appeared beside him instantly. Her hand shot out to grab his, stabilizing his fall. They met each other’s eyes for a brief moment, nodding silently, their breaths mixing in the cold air.

Only one enemy remained, floating in the sky above them with trembling legs and eyes filled with terror.

Before he could flee, Anshvi tightened her grip on Eklavya, pivoted, and threw him through the air. Eklavya shot forward like a rocket, propelled not only by her strength but by his own ki the moment he stabilized mid-flight. With a swift, perfectly controlled arc, he sliced through the last warrior’s neck. The head fell to the ground moments before the body collapsed beside it.

Anshvi reappeared beside Eklavya and caught his hand again, slowing his descent as the two of them gently landed on the massive crater below.

Above them, the clouds finally burst, releasing a soft rainfall that pattered against the broken earth, washing away the blood and dust that stained the battlefield. The drizzle cooled their skin, carrying a strangely calming sensation after the ferocious battle they had just endured.

They stood together in the rain, holding hands and silently staring up at the clouded sky. Water droplets ran down their faces, mingling with sweat and leftover ki residue. For a moment, neither of them spoke. The world felt quiet—almost peaceful—despite the destruction surrounding them.

Eventually, they lowered their gazes. Only then did Anshvi realize that she was still holding Eklavya’s hand. The moment the awareness dawned on her, a faint blush spread across her cheeks. Her eyes widened slightly before she snatched her hand away, flustered.

Eklavya raised an eyebrow. “What happened?”

She quickly shook her head, trying to hide the embarrassment in her expression. “Nothing,” she replied softly. “Let’s leave before anyone else comes.”

Together, they stepped out of the crater, walking away from the rain-soaked battlefield that still hummed with the echoes of their overwhelming power.
