Judgment of the Council

Episode 9 – Judgment of the Council

The Xprians founded the Organization—an empire built on knowledge, war, and control.

But what few know is that the Krizardians, the most feared race due to their elemental power, are unaware that the Xprians stand behind everything.

Today, the Organization survives on a fragile balance.

And if the truth is revealed… a new war may tear the universe apart.

The Xprian Council chamber was immense. Elevated seats surrounded a circular floor, holograms floating above crystalline pillars. Twelve Xprian councilors watched in silence as Lee, Laura, and Director General Doria stood before them.

The lights were dim. The air was heavy.

Dorthan, one of the senior councilors, spoke with a cold, sharp voice.

“The incarnation of Lim… inside a human boy? This is not merely dangerous. It is an existential threat.”

Veltris leaned forward, her eyes filled with disdain.

“If this is true, the boy cannot be allowed to live. Lim was the terror of the ancient war—the bearer of Kairós’ ancestral power. Have you all forgotten what he did?”

Lee raised his head, his gaze unwavering.

“I haven’t forgotten,” he said firmly. “But you have forgotten that history was manipulated.”

A murmur spread across the chamber.

Lee clenched his fists, anger tightly controlled.

“Five hundred years ago, Lim was betrayed… by someone he trusted.

The Goddess Lara turned against him. What truly happened that day remains hidden even now. Perhaps Lim was not the real villain.”

The narrative has been taken without permission. Report any sightings.

  The council erupted.

Norak slammed his hand against his seat.

“You dare defend the greatest enemy of the Organization?!”

  Lee stepped forward.

“I am not defending the Lim of five centuries ago.

I am defending a boy who still has the right to choose who he will become.”

Laura spoke next, her voice calm but resolute.

“He could have killed me… but he didn’t. A light stopped him. That means something good still exists within him.”

Lee’s mind drifted back to the planet Videu.

He stood once more before the ancient prophetess, her eyes glowing softly within a chamber filled with cosmic energy.

“Lee,” she had said, her voice gentle yet absolute,

“a boy will come—one with the power to destroy everything… or to save everything.

You must protect him with your life.”

  The memory faded.

Back in the council chamber, Lee lifted his head.

“I was given a mission,” he declared. “And I will not allow you to execute someone who has not yet chosen to become the monster you fear.”

  Silence followed.

The councilors whispered among themselves. Director Doria stepped forward cautiously.

“Perhaps… there is a compromise. If his power is real, it could be useful. But keeping him within the Organization would be too dangerous.”

  Dorthan nodded slowly.

“Then he shall remain under surveillance—far from the Organization.

Lee, you will train him… and you will watch him.”

  Lee answered without hesitation.

“I agree. But I will choose the training location.”

“I will take Leon to Planet K11,” Lee said.

“A dead world. No life. No inhabitants. Twenty minutes from orbital descent.

There, he will learn to control what is inside him—or be consumed by it.”

  Doria exhaled deeply.

“Approved. You have six months. If anything goes wrong… you will be held responsible.”

Lee bowed slightly, accepting the weight of the decision.

  The scene shifted to space.

The Organization’s mothership hovered like a floating fortress. Smaller vessels docked and detached in silent precision.

Lee and Leon stood before a descent ship. Leon was quiet, lost in thought.

“Why are you helping me?” Leon asked at last.

Lee stared into the void of space.

“Because someone once saved me too.

And because I believe you can become more than Lim.”

Leon lowered his eyes, unsure what to say.

Lee allowed himself a faint smile.

  “And… because I like challenges.”

  The ship descended.

Cosmic winds brushed the hull as a dead world came into view.

  Planet K11 was silent.

The ground was cracked and black. The sky burned red above them.

  Lee opened the hatch.

“Welcome to your new home—for six months.”

  Leon looked around.

“Looks like the perfect place… for a monster.”

Lee tossed him a training staff.

“No. For a warrior in the making.”

  Leon caught it.

For the first time in days, he smiled.
