Chapter 1 – The Call
The classroom was slowly emptying.
Chairs scraped against the floor, laughter echoed through the room, and warm sunlight filtered in through the windows as the day came to an end. It was the last day of school.
Leon stared at nothing in particular, lost in his own thoughts.
It’s the last day of school… and I still haven’t decided what I’m going to do with my life, he thought. It feels like nothing makes sense to me anymore.
That night, the graduation party was filled with music, lights, and excitement. Balloons floated above the dance floor as students laughed, danced, and posed for photos.
Leon stood among them, forcing a smile.
While everyone around him celebrated, his eyes reflected something else—emptiness. Slowly, the sounds of the party faded away, replaced by an uncomfortable silence that only he seemed to notice.
Later that night, Leon lay in his bedroom.
The room was simple and slightly messy. The television glowed in the darkness, broadcasting news from around the world—wars, violence, corruption, endless tragedy.
Leon clenched his jaw.
I can’t take hearing the same tragedies over and over again…
He turned the television off and sighed deeply before lying down on his bed. The digital clock beside him read 2:59 a.m.
Tick.
Tick.
Tick.
The numbers changed.

3:00 a.m.
Suddenly, a brilliant white light flooded the room.
Leon shot up in bed, his heart racing. The light pulsed like a living portal, filling every corner of the room. From within it emerged a radiant being, calm and overwhelming at the same time.
It was Jesus, appearing in a spiritual form.
“Leon,” He said gently, yet firmly. “Come with Me. I want to show you something.”
Before Leon could react, his spirit was pulled from his body. His physical form remained on the bed as he was drawn into the light.
He found himself standing in a vast celestial realm.
Stars stretched endlessly in every direction. Scenes of creation unfolded in the air—galaxies forming, planets taking shape, celestial beings moving in perfect harmony.
Jesus spoke as the visions flowed.
“Since the creation of all things, every being was given free will. But through influence and pride, creation chose to rebel against the Creator. Sin spread across the universe, and ingratitude filled what was once pure.”
The sky shifted.
Leon watched as the heavens divided, angels fell, and Lucifer formed an army of rebellion.
“Then, humanity was created,” Jesus continued. “A fragile race with no special powers. Everything was beautiful… until Satan intervened.”
Images of Eden appeared—Adam and Eve, the serpent lurking in the shadows.
“Despite countless chances, humanity continued to turn away from the Creator. They built theories about their origins and ignored God.”
The light dimmed slightly. Jesus’ expression grew serious.
“Then the Father declared His decision: to erase creation.”
Leon’s breath caught.
“But the angels pleaded for mercy,” Jesus said. “I chose to intercede. Salvation would only be possible if integrity still existed within creation.”
Jesus looked directly into Leon’s eyes.
“That is why I have come to you. I saw purity within your heart. I will grant you an ancient power—one that will not be easy to control. For now… trust Me.”
Leon woke up suddenly.
Morning sunlight streamed through his window.
“When you wake up,” Jesus’ voice echoed softly, “tell your parents you are going on a trip. Every month, you will send them money. You have two days to prepare.”
Leon lay still for a moment, staring at the ceiling.
Then he exhaled slowly—determined.
In the kitchen, Leon hugged his parents goodbye. A suitcase stood beside him.
“I got a scholarship,” he said, his voice trembling. “I’m going to Japan. I’ll send money every month.”
His parents, emotional but trusting, blessed him without asking many questions.
That night, Leon stood once again in his bedroom.
The portal reappeared.
Jesus emerged from the light.
“Are you ready?”
Leon nodded.
He stepped forward and crossed through.
He collapsed onto solid ground.
The sky above him was red. Jagged mountains rose in the distance, and ancient structures loomed across the rocky terrain. Leon fell to his knees, disoriented.
Where am I…?
