The door to Evelynn's room slowly creaked open, and Chami stepped inside. The air was heavy with tension and the lingering effects of Necrospace. Evelynn lay motionless on her bed, her corrupted eye shut tight.
Chami walked closer to the bed, her heart heavy with sympathy for Evelynn. She gently sat down on the edge of the bed, her gaze fixed on Evelynn's peaceful—but tormented—face.
Svenja, Draley, Kurovika, and Nana stood silently in the doorway, watching in anticipation as Chami began her work. They held their breaths, their eyes fixed on Evelynn, hoping for a positive outcome.
Chami reached out with her hand, gently touching Evelynn's forehead. Her fingers lingered there for a moment, as if trying to capture the essence of Necrospace within her touch. Then, closing her eyes, she began to focus her energy, attempting to tap into the dark entity.
The room was silent as Chami concentrated, her breath steady and measured. The air grew tense as the others watched, their anxiety palpable. The only sound was the soft sound of Chami's breathing as she attempted to tap into Necrospace.
Chami's face grew strained, her concentration intensifying. Her breathing quickened, and a bead of sweat formed on her forehead. Evelynn groaned softly, her body shifting slightly in discomfort.
The others in the doorway exchanged anxious glances, their hearts racing. They watched with bated breath, waiting to see if Chami's efforts would bear fruit. The tension in the air was thick, and the room grew darker as if Necrospace was trying to resist.
Chami clenched her teeth, gritting through the strain. She was determined to not give in to Necrospace's resistance. With every ounce of her strength, she continued to push against the dark entity inside Evelynn.
The room became even darker, and a sinister feeling seemed to settle in the air. The others exchanged worried glances, their nerves on edge. They trusted Chami, but the struggle between her and Necrospace was taking a toll on them all.
Meanwhile, Evelynn's body began to twitch and convulse, her corrupted eye fluttering wildly. Necrospace was desperately trying to hold on, fighting against Chami's efforts.
The others in the doorway held their breaths, their eyes fixed on Chami and Evelynn. They could sense the struggle between Chami and Necrospace, the conflict between light and darkness played out before their very eyes.
Chami's face was pale, sweat rolling down her face. She gritted her teeth even harder, her grip on Evelynn's forehead growing stronger. "I won't...give in…”
Evelynn's corrupted eye snapped open out of the blue, and a distorted voice echoed through the room. "You...won't win...Chami…”
Chami gasped, taken aback by Necrospace's words. But she refused to back down. "I...will... save...Evelynn.”
The Necrospace growled, its voice filled with anger. "You underestimate me, Acolyte... You will fail.”

Evelynn's body then jumped up to her feet, glaring at Chami with fury as necrotic energy swirled around her body.
Kurovika's eyes widened in shock as she saw Evelynn get up. She moved closer to the door, ready to assist if necessary. "This isn't good…”
Svenja clenched her teeth, her hand on the door frame. "Damn it, Chami...be careful.”
The dark energy continued to swirl around Evelynn, and the Necrospace's sinister presence grew stronger. Evelynn's words came out as a low, ominous tone. "You dare...try to exorcise me...You will fail…”
Chami, her face a picture of determination, didn't back down. "I will...not fail. I will...save Evelynn...from you.”
The tension in the room was palpable as the battle between Chami and Necrospace continued. The others in the doorway watched with bated breath, ready to intervene if necessary. Just then, Necrospace's voice echoed loudly, filling the room with its cold menace. "You underestimate my power, Acolyte... You cannot defeat me...or save your friend.”
Chami gritted her teeth, channeling all her will into battling Necrospace without backing down. "I'm not...backing down... I will save Evelynn. You will never...have her again.”
With her aura surrounding her body, Chami enraptured the possessed Evelynn and teleported the both of them into a new domain, away from the Alliance members.
Kurovika, Svenja, Draley, and Nana were stunned, their mouths hanging open. "Where...where did they go?" Kurovika managed to voice out, a hint of panic creeping into her voice.
Draley, her eyes still wide in shock, responded, "They... They teleported. But where, and how... I have no idea.”
Svenja clenched her fists, her worry intensifying. "This isn't good. We have no idea where Chami and Evelynn went, or what's happening to them now.”
Kurovika's mind raced, trying to form a plan. "We need to find them, and fast. Who knows what Necrospace might do to them?”
Draley nodded, her mind already formulating strategies. "We'll need a way to track them down, and quickly. But without Chami's abilities, I don't know how we can find them.”
Svenja's expression hardened, her determination growing. "There must be a way. We can't jus’ sit here an’ wait while Chami an’ Evelynn are in danger.”
Kurovika shook her head in frustration. "But without any clues or leads, where do we even begin?”
Draley's gaze sharpened as a thought struck her mind. "Wait... What if we use Void Magic to track them down? We may not have Chami's abilities, but we have our own magical powers.”
Svenja's eyes lit up at Draley's suggestion. "That's a good idea. We should combine our magic an’ try ta locate ‘em. Maybe we can pick up some sorta magical trail or energy residue left behind.”
Kurovika nodded, her expression set with determination. "Let's do it then. We need to use all our resources to find Chami and Evelynn before it's too late.”
Draley clapped her hands together, her face determined. "Alright then, let's focus and concentrate. We have to use every ounce of magic we have to locate their whereabouts.”
The three of them closed their eyes, focusing all their energy and magic on finding a trace of Chami and Evelynn's location. Their breaths slowed, their minds clear as they delved deeper into their magical senses.
After a few tense moments, Kurovika felt a faint tug on her spiritual senses. She opened her eyes, hope flickering in her expression. "I... I think I feel something. It's faint, but it could be a lead.”
Draley, feeling a glimmer of hope, opened her eyes as well. "Really? Where's the direction? We need to follow the clues it's giving us.”
Kurovika narrowed her eyes, focusing on the faint magical energy. "It's...coming from the west. I can feel it pulling us in that direction.”
Svenja, her eyes still closed, agreed with Kurovika. "Then west it is. Let's follow this lead an’ hope it takes us to ‘em. No time to waste!”
The three girls gathered themselves, preparing to follow the magical lead west. They didn't know how long the trail would last or what obstacles they might face, but they were determined to find their friends no matter what.
