Han Wuang Shi’s Quarters...
The room was saturated with a profound silence, so deep it felt as though no living soul inhabited the space. Han Wuang Shi sat alone by his table, his eyes still turbulent flickering between a cold rage and a suppressed urge to weep. Yet, he remained motionless, a statue of stoic grief.
Suddenly, the door creaked open, and Han Juan Hao entered, draped in regal purple and crimson robes. The very atmosphere of the room shifted under his commanding presence. Lady Shi Jing followed closely behind. Wuang Shi, however, showed no reaction; he remained seated as if the world around him were a mere illusion.
A voice thundered through the chamber:
"Han Wuang Shi. Once again, you have committed a grave error."
Before Han Juan Hao could utter another word, Wuang Shi stood up. Without casting a single glance at them, he began to walk away. As he brushed past Han Juan Hao and Shi Jing, his mother stopped him. Her voice was laced with a desperate tenderness.
"Han Wuang Shi... you did not answer your father."
Wuang Shi, his gaze fixed on the void ahead, replied coldly:
"It was not my father who spoke to me. It was your husband. You may provide the answer to him yourself."
The words pierced Han Juan Hao to his very soul. He shouted, his voice vibrating with fury,
"Wuang Shi! You are crossing the line! The mistake you made is unforgivable, yet I came here to speak with you, and your arrogance deems me unworthy of a conversation? You will be punished!"
Lady Shi Jing interjected,
"Please, calm yourself. I will speak to him. Han Wuang Shi!!"
She stepped closer to him, reaching out to stroke his hair gently.
"Wuang... listen to me. If something is troubling you, talk to me. Tell us, what can we do for you?"
Wuang Shi gave only one reply before departing:
"Leave me alone."
Shi Jing stood there, watching him leave with eyes filled with helplessness, nearly brimming with tears. But Wuang Shi did not stop. His clothes were still macabrely stained with dried blood as he walked directly toward the Great Library, where Grandmaster Kang Jue was known to reside.

Meanwhile,
In his own room, Gu Zong sat alone in meditation. He was desperately trying to calm his spirit and his soul, but his clenched fists continued to tremble with a mind of their own.
In the Great Library, Grandmaster Kang Jue was not alone. Han Lao Fang, Han Zaoshi, Jun Wan, Zhuang Hue, and Yung Ke were all present. Princes Mo Jinxiang and Mo Zhenhai sat in silent, poised observation.
Suddenly, Han Wuang Shi entered, radiating a disturbing, fractured aura. Every head turned toward him. His physical state was so dire that any ordinary man would have succumbed to death, yet he walked with an iron will. He knelt before Grandmaster Kang Jue, placing his sword on the floor in a gesture of total submission.
The room gasped. Everyone stood up in shock even the Grandmaster. Their faces turned pale, especially Han Lao Fang's, who looked at the battered Wuang Shi with horror.
Wuang Shi spoke,
"Grandmaster, I ask for the punishment I deserve. I have broken five laws simultaneously. I admit my guilt."
Han Lao Fang couldn't stay silent. His eyes were misty. "Wuang! You are wounded! Master, he..."
The Grandmaster raised his hand, instantly silencing Lao Fang. He then cast a calm, knowing look toward Jun Wan. Jun Wan understood the silent command immediately and sent Zhuang Hue to bring Gu Zong to the library.
Time passed.
An uneasy silence settled over the library as Han Wuang Shi and Gu Zong sat kneeling side-by-side. Their gazes remained sharp and predatory. The Grandmaster finally spoke, as the others held their breath:
"You are correct, Han Wuang Shi. Every mistake carries a price, and both of you shall pay it. Your punishment is this: from this day forward, for the next two months, you and Gu Zong must live together in the same quarters. If you fight like this again or break a single rule, your siblings will be permanently expelled from the path of cultivation. The choice is now in your hands."
Gu Zong’s eyes widened in disbelief. He shot a frantic look at Jun Wan and Zhuang Hue. Wuang Shi, however, stood up in silence and walked out. But as he left, another voice echoed from behind.
A Short While Later...
Gu Zong stood outside an unfamiliar room with Jun Wan and Zhuang Hue, practically spitting fire.
"What kind of punishment is this?! Who gives a sentence like this?! I can't stand to be near that arrogant rooster for a single second, let alone two months?!"
Jun Wan couldn't help but smile at Gu Zong's pouting face. Zhuang Hue placed a hand on his shoulder, sighed deeply, and whispered,
"Brother, don't worry. There is a way."
Gu Zong leaned in eagerly.
"What?"
Zhuang Hue spoke with mock seriousness into his ear,
"I say we just pick up Prince Han Wuang Shi and toss him into the Yushan River."
Gu Zong gnashed his teeth and rubbed his hands together at the thought. But Jun Wan delivered a light smack to the back of Zhuang Hue’s head.
"Keep your devilish schemes to yourself."
Smiling softly, Jun Wan took Gu Zong’s right hand and caressed it.
"Zao... remember this. The power found in silence is unlike any other. Silence can be a weapon, and it can be a sanctuary. There is no greater respect than silence, and no greater insult either. Silence can express love, and it can express hate. It can fill a man with wisdom or erase him entirely. Zao, there is no language of love in this world greater than silence. Silence is a dialogue in itself. You must use this silence. I believe in you, Zao."
Zhuang Hue fell silent, his mind busy trying to process the maturity of her words.
Gu Zong, however, felt a smile return to his face. As Jun Wan finished, Gu Zong took a steady step forward and entered the unfamiliar room.
