BOOM!
A huge cloud of dust billowed up in the middle of the tribe.
But the Goblin Lord wasn’t done yet. It grabbed another wooden stake from the half-demolished hut beside it and hurled it toward the dust cloud.
Then a third stake. A fourth......
It only paused when it ran out of suitable projectiles.
Ever since the first stake had been thrown, there had been no movement from the spot where Hulim Heyerar had been standing.
The Goblin Lord stared at the dusty haze ahead, sniffed the air, and a cruel grin spread across its lips.
But just then,
a fireball shot out from another direction without warning, striking a goblin archer who had climbed onto a rooftop.
“Gah——!”
The goblin screamed as it tumbled off the roof, and the flames on its body quickly ignited the thatched roof made of branches and straw.
In an instant, the entire hut was engulfed in roaring flames.
But the attacks didn’t stop there.
Fireball after fireball streaked across the sky from different positions.
Goblin archers fell one after another, screaming in agony, and the fire quickly spread throughout the entire tribe.
Many goblins, who had been immobilized by severe stomach cramps, could only watch helplessly as the flames consumed them.
The Goblin Lord watched the scene unfold, its eyes glowing blood-red as if they might bleed at any moment.
“Gah-oh——!!!”
THUD! THUD! THUD......
It charged recklessly toward the source of the attacks, trampling over everything in its path—whether it was goblins writhing on the ground or huts, burning or intact.
All it cared about was destroying that enemy!
But Hulim Heyerar had no intention of fighting it head-on. Bolstered by her various buffs, she kept a safe distance, darting around the tribe while picking off any goblins that crossed her path.
It wasn’t until the last goblin archer fell to the ground, engulfed in flames, that Hulim Heyerar finally came to a halt......
Staring at the massive Goblin Lord in front of her, Hulim Heyerar raised her wand steadily and pointed it at the creature.
“Now it’s your turn.”
“......”
Now that Hulim Heyerar had stopped moving, the Goblin Lord hesitated instead of attacking immediately. It first glanced around at its tribe.
The once-mighty clan was now in ruins. Of all its powerful forces, only two or three lowly green-skinned goblins wielding crude wooden clubs remained visible.
WHOOSH——!
Foul-smelling white steam billowed from the Goblin Lord’s nostrils, mixing with the smoke drifting through the air.
Then——
The Goblin Lord and Hulim Heyerar moved at the exact same moment.
The colossal stone axe slammed down on the spot where Hulim Heyerar had been standing, smashing a massive crater into the ground.
But Hulim Heyerar was already leaping high into the air.
Bathing in the sunlight, she unleashed a spell at the Goblin Lord from above.
“【????????????????????????????????????????????????????】”
“Great Fireball!”

BOOM——!
The Goblin Lord was sent flying backward, crashing onto its back.
THUD!
Just as it was about to hit the ground, it swung its axe hard against the earth behind it, forcing itself to stop its fall.
“Gah——!”
With a ferocious roar, the Goblin Lord actually managed to snuff out the flames burning on its face with the sheer force of its shout.
Even though its face was covered in burns, it paid them no mind, raising its giant axe at Hulim Heyerar once more.
Meanwhile, the tip of Hulim Heyerar’s wand blazed with concentrated mana.
“Gah——?!?”
At that very instant, the Goblin Lord suddenly shuddered, freezing mid-attack.
“?”
A flicker of confusion crossed Hulim Heyerar’s face.
Then she watched as the Goblin Lord—who had taken the Great Fireball head-on—clutched its stomach and slowly collapsed to the ground......
“......”
So the poison hadn’t failed—it had just taken longer to kick in......
Hulim Heyerar dispelled the spell she had been charging, staring at the Goblin Lord, who was glaring at her with pure hatred and wearing a pained, constipated expression. She couldn’t help but feel a little dazed.
Is it really over just like that?
“......Well, Semiris did say any method would work, so this should count as passing, right?”
“Whatever. First things first—I should call Semiris back.”
With that, Hulim Heyerar raised her wand at the Goblin Lord again, who was now completely defenseless.
Seeing the light glowing at the tip of the wand, the Goblin Lord finally felt a surge of panic. It forced itself to endure the crippling stomach pain, trembling hands lifting the stone axe in a desperate attempt to attack Hulim Heyerar once more.
“【????????????????????????????????????????????????????】”
“Great Fireball!”
BOOM!
Another Great Fireball struck the Goblin Lord directly, sending it flying backward yet again.
THUD!
The Goblin Lord crashed heavily onto the ground, adding another charred mark to its body—but that was all.
Compared to its massive frame, the injury was little more than a scratch.
Hulim Heyerar frowned, feeling a hint of annoyance. While its armor had provided some protection, the real problem was its incredible vitality—it had even managed to tank a C-Rank spell head-on.
There was no doubt about it—the creature was definitely C+ Rank.
Luckily, the poison had worked. Otherwise, the outcome of this battle would have been anyone’s guess......
The Goblin Lord struggled to get back on its feet to fight back, but Hulim Heyerar had no intention of giving it the chance.
“【??????????????????????????????????????????????】”
“Lightning Strike!”
BOOM!
A bolt of lightning crashed down from the sky, striking the Goblin Lord square on.
“Gah——!”
The Goblin Lord let out a scream of agony, its body convulsing as the lightning’s paralyzing effect made it even harder to move.
Clearly, attacks that could penetrate the body were far more effective against such tough-skinned opponents.
“Gah-oh——!!!”
Realizing it couldn’t escape on its own, the Goblin Lord tilted its head back and let out a desperate roar.
“Gah-lu!”
“Gah!”
“Gah......”
The few remaining green-skinned goblins had already lost all will to fight when they saw their lord get sent flying by the Great Fireball. Now, hearing its call for help, they hesitated, too scared to charge forward.
“Gah-oh——!!!”
BOOM!
A fireball exploded directly inside the Goblin Lord’s open mouth.
“You’re making far too much noise. Do us both a favor and shut up.”
The Goblin Lord clutched its mouth, letting out a pained whimper as blood trickled from the corners of its lips.
But even though it could no longer roar, the second, even angrier command from its lord triggered the instinct to obey their superior, forcing the green-skinned goblins to move.
“Gah!”
“Gah-lu!”
“Gah......”
Watching the green-skinned goblins charge toward her, weapons raised, Hulim Heyerar muttered a curse under her breath, then pointed her wand at them.
“【????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????】”
“Earth Grasp!”
As the spell took effect, the ground around the goblins began to flow like liquid, then rose up to form a giant hand that crashed down on them.
“Gah!?!”
“Gah-lu!!”
Seven or eight green-skinned goblins only had time to scream before being swallowed whole by the earth.
The few goblins that had lagged behind and escaped the attack felt the last of their courage drain away. They froze in place, and the smarter ones even began to flee backward.
“One by one, you’re all such a nuisance. I’d better finish you off first.”
Right now, the Goblin Lord was barely able to move. The real threat came from these lowly goblins harassing her from the sides—especially if any of them picked up a bow and started shooting at her from the shadows.
“【???????????????????????????????????????】”
“Wind Slash!”
“【??????????????????????????????????????】”
“Rock Shard Volley!”
“【??????????????????????????????????】”
“Water Arrow......”
Hulim Heyerar went on the offensive, chasing down the green-skinned goblins. The ones who had been hesitating in place were the first to come under attack.
That was all it took. Any remaining doubt about whether to fight or flee vanished, and the goblins scattered in all directions, scrambling to escape.
In a matter of moments, the number of lowly green-skinned goblins dwindled drastically. No more goblins could be seen moving in the open.
But Hulim Heyerar knew they weren’t all dead. Some of them had gone into hiding.
“Should I just burn the entire tribe to the ground?”
