Hello everyone and thank you for reading this far in the story! With the end of Part 1, we've reached the 22% mark of book 1.
For a protagonist to be interesting, they need to change and grow. For their rise to be glorious, they need to start from their lowest point and overcome all odds. Skye's journey is going to be extremely hard, and he has to be up to the task. And this journey starts now.
Part One was rich with worldbuilding, character introductions, lore drops, mystery clues, and information about the magic system. One thing it's lacking is action and adventure. Starting from now, each part will have a larger focus on action and magic, culminating in an explosive climax at the end of part 5. I urge you all to stick with me and watch Skye's growth as he seeks his goals.
If you spot this narrative on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation.
So far, we've learned that the curse's effects are absolute. Nothing escapes it. And its rules are hazy. Skye has exhausted all his options in Troqua. Now, the only possible solutions are the insane ones.
What do you think will happen next? And what are your impressions of the skeletons in the dungeon? Skye likes adventures and interesting people, so even while going insane, his mind conjured these silly characters for the ride.
Some good news: The first draft of Book 2 is finished! I wrote about 100k words in 25 days. The draft you're reading for this book is draft 5, with each draft including massive rewrites. It's going to be a while until book 2 is ready, but I'm planning on finishing it before I'm done publishing this one.
Again, thank you for reading my story, and I hope you'll enjoy the upcoming chapters of The Forgotten Hopes, the first book in my StarMoire series.
