Among the students who had gathered around the practice ground to witness the unexpected mock battle between Mo Fan and Luo Song, one particur girl stood out like Moon in a pitch-bck sky.
She was tall, her posture elegant yet rexed, as if she was completely at ease with herself amidst the crowd of chattering students. Her long, dark brown hair was tied up in a high ponytail that cascaded down, reaching all the way to the curve of her back despite being bound. Under the morning sunlight, the strands shimmered with a hint of auburn, catching the eye with every subtle sway.
Her skin was porcein fair, smooth and fwless like a fine painting. Sharp brows framed her captivating dark emerald eyes, which held a mysterious glint to them — as though they were always on the verge of seeing through your soul.
Her high cheekbones and pointy gaze gave her a noble, almost untouchable aura. Her lips were full and gently tinted, shaped in a way that made them look both enticing and dangerous — a perfect combination that sent many boys’ hearts fluttering without her even saying a word.
Even at just eighteen years old, the same age as Mo Fan, her ‘S’ shaped figure was the embodiment of youthful allure. Her slender waist curved into firm, shapely hips, her blouse hugged her full, beautiful firm E-cups— the sensual curve of her breasts drawing attention of the boys, as if asserting her quiet dominance with every breath she took, and her long legs stood poised like a dancer’s — graceful and strong. Cd in the school’s fitted white blouse and dark red pleated skirt, she wore the uniform with a natural elegance that turned heads without her needing to try.
But, her attention was glued to the ground entire time. More specifically she was staring at Mo Fan as if she was studying him.
From the moment the summoning spell was cast, her gaze hadn’t left him for even a second.
He was... interesting.
Despite being beled a poor and unremarkable student by almost everyone who were present, the boy had shown not only confidence but a natural command over magic that far exceeded what was expected of a fresh entrant.
His casting speed was unusually fast. His awareness in battle — subtle movements, the way his fingers twitched ever so slightly — told her that he hadn’t been standing still at all. He had been watching, calcuting, and ready to move at a moment’s notice.
That cute little wolf pup only added to the mystery.
She watched silently as Mo Fan, expression rexed and almost smug, picked up the adorable Snow Frost Star Wolf in his arms. The little creature purred and nuzzled against his chest like a child seeking affection. The contrast between his handsome face and the puffy white furball in his arms made for an oddly heart-warming sight — even she had to admit it.
“Cute puppy,” she murmured under her breath, a rare smile tugging at her lips.
With that, she turned and began walking away, her heels clicking lightly against the stone path of the stadium.
She hadn’t even pnned to attend this year’s final admission evaluations, but her best friend had dragged her here out of sheer curiosity. And now, the one who was supposed to be squealing with excitement at her side was nowhere to be seen.
“Sigh… Where did that silly girl Tutu run off to this time?” she muttered, scanning the crowd with a slight scowl.
But the silly girl was long gone, having vanished sometime during the battle.
No matter.
The girl cast one st gnce over her shoulder, her emerald eyes lingering briefly on Mo Fan and the little wolf curled in his arms.
She had seen enough.

After wrapping up the long and rather eventful admission process at Pearl Magic Institute — which had dragged on till midday — Mo Fan finally stepped off campus. The bright afternoon sun cast zy shadows across the paved path as he stretched his arms high overhead, groaning softly from the exhaustion of the day.
“Hn~ng, finally done,” he exhaled.
Laying comfortably on his left shoulder was the little Snow Frost Star Wolf, nestled like a fluffy scarf. Its pristine white fur shimmered under the sunlight, and its bright blue eyes blinked contentedly.
The start of the school term was on the first of September 1, a very unusual day for starting school.
Up to this point Mo Fan had already been living the dorm for roughly two months. He had a retively good understanding of the entire Pearl Institute.
The Pearl Institute was divided into two campuses. The Azure Pearl Campus accommodated all the first-year University students and all the old students at Primary level. The Main Pearl Campus was only for those who had stepped into the Intermediate level.
The Main Campus was naturally the genuine core of the Pearl Institute. Gathered in this pce were all of their outstanding young Magicians from every part of the nation. At same time, it was also the pce with the most ferocious competition.
The Azure Campus could be considered a bit more fair. Gathered in this pce were the new students who had entered the Pearl Institute, as well as the old students who had not made the breakthrough to the Intermediate level.

Mo Fan got up to brush his teeth and wash his face first thing in the morning. A retively handsome man walked into the room.
He had fashionably styled, curly long hair, a face like a fairytale prince, and was wearing simple sportswear. Mo Fan looked at the first dorm mate that arrived with foam all over his mouth. In his heart, he cursed, Sh*t, this guy’s almost as handsome as me!
“Oh, I thought I was the first one to get here! Let me introduce myself, my name is Zhao Manyan, I major in the Light Element…” Zhao Manyan said with a warm smile, looking very friendly.
“I’m called Mo Fan…,”
This is the goat the one that will be my closest ally.
Zhao Manyan would become force to be reckoned with in the years to come. With the knowledge of the totem beast he would conspire Mo Fan hoped to be able to foster more pride and determination into Manyan. So that he could he reach his destiny as the strongest defensive mage in the history of the world.
Seeing this guy, Mo Fan couldn't help but curse inwardly: Zhao Manyan, this guy, is definitely a protagonist from a wish-fulfillment novel!
Although it seemed that after entering the academy, Zhao Manyan was the one being disliked, and he barely managed to flirt with any goddesses he met.
But Zhao Manyan was a walking AOE, and he didn't have those 'this isn't good, that isn't good' issues.
In fact, beauties don't really have much of a hierarchy.
It's just that the talent and strength possessed by beauties differ.
And Zhao Manyan, who was "fresh and refined," could be said to be busy three hundred and sixty-five days a year, not taking a single day off!
After hearing what Mo Fan said, Zhao Manyan immediately said with a slight hint of helplessness, "Oh, you're from the Summoning Element.
So that senior sister was right, our dormitory should be a mixed-system dormitory."
A dormitory can accommodate six people, and normally the school arranges students from the same system together to facilitate their communication.
However, not every system's student count is divisible by six, which leads to mixed-system dormitories.
"Never mind, Brother Mo Fan, I've made pns to have lunch with that senior sister, so I'll be going now."
Zhao Manyan clearly didn't care much.
Watching this beastly guy's dashing departure, having already snagged a senior sister upon arrival, Mo Fan couldn't help but feel a surge of envy.
Some people, like himself, risk their lives, fighting desperately to become stronger amidst demons.
Some people lie in a comfortable sea of cotton, seemingly knowing nothing but mating and mating like beasts every day.
While they aren't unbelievably strong, they aren't bad either.
If he could, Mo Fan would actually be willing to burrow into a sea of cotton.
Not long after Zhao Manyan left, two more people walked in.
Perhaps they were shy, or perhaps they were just aloof, but neither of them greeted Mo Fan, who was already in the dormitory, and instead busied themselves with tidying their beds.
Mo Fan didn't pay attention to these two either.
After all, they weren't like Zhao Manyan, that son of a bitch, who could serve as his own shield.
If they didn't want to talk, it just made things easier for Mo Fan.
In the afternoon, a tall, thin man with red hair appeared.
This person made no attempt to hide that he was a Fire Element student; as soon as he entered the dormitory, he scanned the entire room like a leader.
"Whose bed is this?" the red-haired man asked, pointing.
"Mine," Mo Fan said as he walked in from the balcony.
"What system are you from?" the red-haired male student asked.
"Summoning Element."
The Fire Element student, who had been quite arrogant just moments before, instantly defted.
"And this bed, what system is it from?" the red-haired male student asked, pointing at Zhao Manyan's spot.
Unfortunately, Mo Fan had no intention of responding to him.
Did he, a mere junior mage, need to answer his questions?
The red-haired man saw that Mo Fan ignored him and didn't care.
Well, mainly because he couldn't figure out Mo Fan's background, so he didn't dare to be too arrogant.
Moreover, junior Summoning Element mages were extremely rare, and those who could come to Pearl Academy would certainly not be weak.
However, the other two, knowing that this guy was Fire Element and seeing his inquiry, one of them expined to this 'big brother' that the bed belonged to a Light Element roommate.
As for how he knew, perhaps he had asked when he entered the dormitory.
After all, a Summoning Element, a Fire Element, and a Wind System had all arrived.
The remaining ones could only be the three Light Element mages.
Upon hearing that it was just a Light Element mage, a 'lighting fixture' type of student, the Fire Element mage tossed Zhao Manyan's belongings aside.
He then decred that he would sleep there.
Mo Fan completely ignored this, simply leaving.
After dinner, Mo Fan received a message to gather in the cssroom for a freshman orientation.
Upon arriving at the designated cssroom, there were only six people there.
With him, it made exactly seven.
Jiang Yunming, who was the head of the Summoning Element, also arrived at this time and immediately began the meeting with them.
"The Summoning Element can be said to be the most unique among all magic systems, and its teaching methods are very different from other systems.
Basically, you are in a free-range state; apart from a few important csses each week, you will cultivate your summoned beasts yourselves.
If you are truly bored and have nothing to do, you can also go sit in on other system's csses," said Director Jiang Yunming very directly.
"Our academy has always had a special welcoming program for our Summoning Element, and this should be the top priority you will face next.
Moreover, the top two performers will receive a bottle of Beast Refining Blood," Jiang Yunmingcontinued.
However, when he said this, there was a hint of helplessness on his face.
