Chapter 7. Tilty

Zeldi mumbled a lot of curses as she found her dress and tied it back on. I would have been ughing at how creative she was getting but my annoyance was currently winning the war of emotions right now.

"She was supposed to come back at midnight to take over as caretaker. Why in a dryads left tit would she be hauling her tainted snatch back here?"

"Isn't this my farm now?" I said while trying to keep my voice even. A task I seemed to to succeed at for the most part. "I thought it didn't need a caretaker now that I'm here?"

"It doesn't. But fluffy whore shouldn't know that. So she's either back to taunt me again or she somehow found out you accepted the deed and is going to try and buy the deed from you or just straight up try and buy me." Zeldi found her top but suddenly froze at the thought. "Please Master don't sell me."

"Like hell!" I returned. "I still need to sell one hundred liters of your milk yet. Though I am hoping you continue to help milk me as well?"

  Speaking of quests.

Current quest: Get milked yourself by one of your livestock.

  Reward: Shop access.

  Status: Complete

Would you like to accept reward now?

  Yes / No

"Oh thank the mother mare." Zeldi sighed. "That means more than you think."

I accepted the quest completion but ignored the new pop ups for ter. My 'pants' were resecured back in pce and with a final look at Zeldi to make sure she was presentable we headed out of the barn.

An odd part of me stoically wanted no one else to see her in anything but clothes. Call me possessive I don't care. If she was mine no one else gets to see.

The sun had dipped to the point it was kissing the horizon by the time we actually made it outside though I couldn't remember where it had been when we first entered. Not that it was too important as I'd also seen Tilty and her guard leaning against the handrail of the house.

Zeldi tried to run towards them but I managed to catch her tail just before she could get too far away. I had expected her to yelp in pain but instead she let out a whimper that was anything but. Note for ter.

"Don't rush. They're on our property now so we take our time, make them understand we won't cater to them." I said shaking off the whimper I so wanted to hear more of.

"Oh. I never thought of that. Want to ride me over then? Prove you are my owner?" She replied.

  God yes!

  "If you're okay with it."

"I wouldn't offer if I wasn't." Zeldi said back bending her legs slightly so I could get on.

I took the opportunity and swung my left leg over her back to get into position. I ignored the fact my bare ass was on her though I don't think Zeldi did as she cursed having to put her dress back on.

Standing back up I ended up having to grab just under her boobs for support though I think that again was pnned on her part. Especially when she leaned back into me as she walked.

I was not at all disappointed when she walked extra slow towards our guests making sure the fawn knew we were doing it on purpose. The twitch in Tilty's eye gave away her annoyance as we finally got close enough.

"Whatchu want?" I barked out when we were in talking distance though I didn't get down off Zeldi.

"To buy the centaur from you. Just name your price." She said back with all the mannerisms of a barista that was done with her shift already.

"Zeldi Isn't for sale." I responded.

"I'm offering you ten ptinum coins for her. It's enough to buy enough animals to get this farm off the ground and still have enough to retire with." Tilty's said back ignoring my comment.

Judging from Zeldi's gasp that was a lot of money.

"Still a no sorry." I sighed. "Why do you want her anyway?"

"Personal grudge. She's made my life hard enough by not understanding she's just a livestock. I intend to make sure she's thoroughly reminded."

"At least you're honest. Not that it matters Zeldi is not for sale no matter the price." Zeldi seemed to vibrate underneath me as I said that.

"Look." Tilty tittered in almost boredom. "I've not seen you around here so let me expin something. I'm the daughter of the Baron and have been generously given this nd as well as the nd surrounding by my father to cultivate. You being the new owner of this nd by rites of the deed are going to be required to work with me."

"And if I don't?"I returned matching her bored tone.

"Then you will not have any traders come through this area and the roads between here and town are going to become too dangerous for you to travel." The fawn responded.

I didn't need the snake man besides her to flex his hand over his sword to know what that meant. Though why she didn't get him to attack me now was concerning. Don't get me wrong my new body was giving me some confidence but a sword is a wonderful equalizer.

This would provide a big problem especially around food for Zeldi and myself. I might be able to survive off her milk alone but without outside assistance we were very limited. Zeldi had mentioned she couldn't leave the property so did that mean I couldn't either? Not that I was going to cave and sell my little mare but I did need a way to get to a town because...

  I'm a dumbass. I need a shop right?

  Farm store

  Buy / Sell

  Farm points: 0

What can I do with this? Let's see.

I mentally selected sell while ignoring what Tilty was saying next. Something something threat yadda yadda.

An option to sell items in my Void inventory came up though only the full bottle came up with a price. The rest were grayed out.

Centaur milk bottle full (D-) sell for 10 FP?

Warning: Milk sold this way won't progress Zeldi's personal quest.

I saw no reason not to. Though not progressing her quest could be a problem, it was a better option than selling her or starving.

  10 FP gained.

  Farm store

  Buy / Sell

  Farm points: 10

  Now what can I buy?

The buying screen when I selected it came up bnk with only a search option. Not that I was expecting much but too much time on the Internet had me expecting the front page to be filled with advertisements and 'cheap' deals. Was kinda nice to not have it for once.

The first thing I searched up was a repcement bottle as selling the milk had consumed that in the process. I was happy to find it only cost one Farm Point to buy another. I purchased two just to have a repcement as well as a spare. Didn't know how many Zeldi still had.

Now with eight left I needed to figure out if I could live using this store.

Water was easy enough to find with it only costing two points per liter of well water with different types costing more though I did note from the pictures they also came in a bottle. Maybe I could double dip and buy water in the future and repurpose them to be Zeldi's milk bottles. Could save a few pennies. There was also a few that sprouted buffs simir to Zeldi's milk but the price skyrocketed to twenty at the cheapest. Something to think about.

Food was another thing that varied between item with cooked meals being more expensive than individual ingredients. Not unexpected though I did purchase three apples for one FP just to test a theory.

The apples were pced in my Void inventory upon purchase though each individual apple took up a slot.

  Void inventory

Centaur milk bottle 2/3 (D-)Centaur milk bottle 3/4 (D-)AppleCentaur milk bottle 2/3 (D-)AppleAppleEmpty Empty Empty Empty Trying to sell the apples back brought up an error that told me I couldn't sell items brought from the store.

Okay now that I know I can buy food, water and new bottles I can safely say that so long as Zeldi keeps producing her milk we can live on the farm without leaving.

Refocusing back on the fawn who was having a verbal spat with Zeldi I pulled an apple from my inventory and bit onto it, making sure the crunch was audible enough to silence them.

"Your terms are accepted. You may do whatever you want to do outside of the bounds of my property but Zeldi stays here. She is my producer and she will stay my producer."

Tilty and Zeldi both locked onto me as I said this with Tilty looking confused as to how I got an apple while Zeldi seemed to almost salivate to the fruit.

I gave it another bite, getting into the core and noticing the seeds were still there. Good these weren't some magical thing that was hollow but a fruit I could cultivate. I didn't need to eat and was more doing it for effect so I gave the remaining part to my Centaur who took it with a small thank you before savoring it like it was the first one she'd ever had.

Her food diversity was extremely low. What had she been eating up until now?

"This is not up for debate." Tilty started but I stopped her.

"You're right it's not." I swung off Zeldi's back and approached the fawn only stopping when the snake man moved in front of her.

I gave him a once over as he tried to look threatening. He would have succeeded just by the way he extended his tail to be taller than me but I was built like a Greek demigod now and he seemed to realize that. I did look down at his weapon but he seemed to avoid touching it, instead he was just trying to look threatening.

"Mate I take shits beside a spider the size of my face just so it can kill all the other spiders. You don't scare me." I was surprised that I ment those words.

"Protect my employer. Will avoid a fight if possible." He hissed.

I gave him a nod. "Don't attack me or my own and I won't do the same."

He hissed in a way that I took for agreement before turning to Tilty. "We cannot harm him in his nd I suggest we leave midy."

That was interesting to know. Was it a rule or another power from the deed?

Tilty clicked her tongue. "Fine. But don't expect any help from me Mister deed owner. Unless you change your mind on selling the milk maid. Then we can talk arrangements."

The fawn then flicked the bird towards Zeldi before storming off back down the path and past the destroyed fence line that might have once protected the farm from the outside. The snake man bowed his head then followed after his employer.

Zeldi and I stood in silence watching them leave, neither of us saying anything until we were sure they were gone.
